DUDE I don't know how you do it. Backing into an intersection with a car that you can't see behind your trailer? 10/10 level of difficulty. Mad respect to you.
Non-truck drivers will never understand how it feels to see a freeway once coming out of a surface street lol every time I enter regular streets, I always feel I don't belong there. I feel comfortable once I see a truck driver in my area.
I remember years ago when I finished y training and got my own truck my first back was a blindside back in the middle of downtown LA. The place was so small they could only let one truck in the lot at a time and it took me over an hour to finally bump the dock. I ended up being banned for life from that place lol.
I live in Newark. Definitely give props to any trucker that comes this way 🤣 but my first request when I get into trucking hopefully later this year is no NJ or NY runs 😂🤣
Yo man I run the NE lanes so I know all about the crazy docks, the tight turns, and the 4 wheelers that won’t let you get over! Stay safe out there bro. Respect.
Mad respect for you Rasim and on how you so calmly handle difficult situations like these here. Huge Kudos to you bro. AND a much needed Cheers for sure!! 🌭🍺🍺🍻
Drivers run into a lot of problems on the road. My son was in Atlanta GA and street direction had changed but the hadn't changed direction signs....tight street going wrong way.. You are a great driver because you are so careful and courteous along with that. You do a great job!! Stay safe OT ROOKIE.
Reminds me of a dock I used to deliver to sometimes three times a day. Plus they'd want me to spot another trailer into the dock... After a while it's just another dock. And traffic... Well they'll figure it out if you go nice and slow. Here in Chicago they know the deal.
Im a new truck driver, and I am doing mostly downtown city work, with lots of incredibly difficult backings. From busy streets, to blocking traffic to doing it in pitch black not being able to see anything. As a new driver I understand how stressful and scary this is, knowing the next one might be the one you make a mistake on. But I push forward and hope that it will get easier with time and experience. But god damn I'm learning so fast lol, the other day I did a tight backing faster than most experienced guys do, thats what the security dude told me atleast.
I’ve seen your truck up and down 295 north and south in the south Jersey tristate area I remember last summer while I was training starting my trucking journey I would see your tractor and say damn that’s a cool as tractor Ctfu holy smokes I’m definitely subscribing keep up the good work brother
I know exactly where you are. Never go to Newark or Patterson in Jersey. Mostly old warehouses and they are tight as hell. Gotta love Atlantic city. Try central Jersey (Edison/Cranbury) or south Jersey. its much better.
As far as I have found out, the yellow Scania 143H is in your video. the only one of its kind in the usa. with US spec, usually it is only available in Europe. it was never made for the American market, at least not yet :). Is’s a truck Company from Sweden btw 🇸🇪🇸🇪 Best Regards Andrée Hyldebrandt Hemmingsen from Denmark 🇩🇰😉
@7:45 Scania - That yellow Scania truck is featured many places on the internet. I believe it is owned by Abreu Truck Services in Newark, NJ. There are postings of it drag raced at Raceway Park in Englishtown.
I'm a 17yrs Experience Driver and I've been in and out of Jersey alot. Yes there are quite a few EXTREMELY TIGHT Docks in Jersey and In NY as well but being Skilled and understanding that NO BACKINGS are the Same and each one brings a Different Challenge for you to understand and overcome. The more you understand this rule and learn to deal with the different Docking Challenges that the Northeast brings up there, The better Semi Freight Hauler that you will become as your experience grows and the more Docking Challenges that you face.
We used to deliver to Sears stores in NJ. The docks were under the store in some locations. Blindside back, down a curving ramp into a dark loading dock and then you had to back around piles of crap, other trailers and vehicles and nobody would help guide you. My first delivery here took me 45 minutes to get it inside.
Had to do something similar to that in Chicago several years back. Dispatcher told me a guy would meet me a block away. Next thing I know some homeless looking guy jumps on my passenger running board and proceeded to guide me into a blindside alley back.😂 He told me to just do what he said and I'd be good so I did and I was
Much respect!!! I wish you would've kept recording during your backups. Super tight and unfortunately a lot of people driving, riding their bikes and walking are completely unaware of how difficult some of these maneuvers are. Thanks for the video.
It is your tractor and trailer you can put a set of back up lamps on the trailer so you can see while backing into the dark docks and other parking spaces . If it is my stuff it would not get damaged and then i have to pay out money to fix it ...
Have you ever been to the underground caves in Missouri? They look tight inside but plenty of room if you know how to manuever correctly. I delivered to a beer whse in Denver that was set up just like ur del in Newark. The docks were all the way inside with only ur hood sticking out. I couldn't see a damn thing behind me either and had a truck on the dock to my rt so had to be extra careful. And the dock was on the truck exit of course. Makes for fun times.
You people are so full of shit. Take jobs no o ne else want. I used to blind side in a dock at night with a 285 inch Pete and 53 ft trailer. What he just did is. Nothing.
Lol.. they get much worse than that.. especially Brooklyn n Bronx, NY..once u get backed into dock..and u can barely put ur arm to elbow between the wall n side of trailer..n do that blind side backing..n backing in actual traffic across a concrete medium.. consider urself lucky to have got that location!!
You certainly go to some dank, old, shitty, run down non-truck friendly places to pick up and deliver. But it has boosted your skills considerably. Slow and steady, you're doing well. 👍
IF YOU THINK IT'S HARD TO GET PARTS, YOU OUGHTA TRY WORKING ON ONE OF THESE PIECES OF SWEEDISH JUNK,,,,,,,,,,THEY ARE THE MOST MISERABLE THINGS EVER INVENTED..........IN FACT, THESE THINGS AREN'T MADE ,,,,,,,,,,,,THEY'RE PUKED ...................YOU HAVE TO BE AN ABSOLUTE MORON TO OWN OR BUY ONE OF THESE...........EVEN THE PIPE THREADS ARE METRIC.............
They need to pay way more for this type of BS. If they arent going to raise the rate, then send 2 box trucks in. Its ridiculous where they expect these trucks to fit and wonder why noone wants to do it.
Man my company keeps sending back to Jersey man I'm heading to Swedesboro and pine Brook two drops of meat while they making money I'm making peanuts but it's fine experience and experience today i had a incident some guy pissed me off i pulles off my air horn cord and the horn kemp blowing hahaha fuck man but I fixed it i was on I80E man just having those days hahhahah fuck it ! Good luck man !
getting in that deck would be some great footage if you would ever be making training videos. get youself a pork roll sandwich for coffee break you earned it!!
Wow.... Those docks are terrible and the laziness of the people and that trashy yard is terrible. If they were to clean it up better and organize it, it would be MUCH easier. Nice skills brother.
At 3:33, you said ‘fire extinguishers’ but think you meant hydrants. That dock wasn’t built for newer 53’ trailers, I suspect...more likely the older shorter ones with day cabs.
I get a laugh every time someone compares my long nose to a day cab. Depending on the bunk setup and if it was a tandem or single axle, you're looking at a major length and wheelbase difference.
I can't stand going into new jersey through the I95. Especially the areas with older brick and mortar buildings. Worst places to dock. Just as bad as Brooklyn and downtown Chicago.
DUDE I don't know how you do it. Backing into an intersection with a car that you can't see behind your trailer? 10/10 level of difficulty. Mad respect to you.

Same hahaha
Man 😩
You made it because you're a skilled driver!

Awesome
best view of new jersey is in your mirror as you leave
I live in Newark. Definitely give props to any trucker that comes this way 🤣 but my first request when I get into trucking hopefully later this year is no NJ or NY runs 😂🤣
Your composure and skill when driving is awesome.
Nice job, Rasim. I'd have legitimately had a panic attack trying to back into these docks.
When coming to NJ try to get loads going to Cranbury. All the yards are huge and you will never have to back down a street.
Incredible place to practice for beginners. Wide roads, open space. You can do backflips in Cranbury.
Yo man I run the NE lanes so I know all about the crazy docks, the tight turns, and the 4 wheelers that won’t let you get over! Stay safe out there bro. Respect.
Don't you love it how ppl say other ppl can do this and that but they can't even do it? You did a good job
I like the fact that you said you can’t see your door as you where pulling out…..you definitely know what to what for, good job driver🤙🏾🤙🏾
Damn, what do you call a person who can handle pressure? collected, level-headed, established, persevering, tenacious, unflinching, and unshakable.
A rookie? Hahah
I am never ever pressured by 4 wheelers when backing up because I know I'm the bigger one and if they fuck with me I can easily kill them on a semi.
Mad respect for you Rasim and on how you so calmly handle difficult situations like these here.
Huge Kudos to you bro. AND a much needed Cheers for sure!! 🌭🍺🍺🍻

If its hard for you to back in those places I couldn’t image how a new driver could do it
Bruh that was some of the craziest backing I’ve seen on yt so far.
You are a good driver....Your truck/home looking good. One thing about it you ain’t scared you go anywhere and take a load.😎
You just doing the damn thing. Respect.
I’ve seen your truck up and down 295 north and south in the south Jersey tristate area I remember last summer while I was training starting my trucking journey I would see your tractor and say damn that’s a cool as tractor Ctfu holy smokes I’m definitely subscribing keep up the good work brother

Man...my blood pressure shot through the roof seeing this, and I'm not even driving. 🤣
Good Job Young Man !
Way to stay calm and accomplish the task !
That's why I went over the road cause backing is a pain but now I'm gonna go local again, in NJ 🥲
Im sorry
Guy who's worked there for 50 years since trailer were half as long: "oh we get trucks in here all the time!" 😂

@7:45 Scania - That yellow Scania truck is featured many places on the internet. I believe it is owned by Abreu Truck Services in Newark, NJ. There are postings of it drag raced at Raceway Park in Englishtown.
Man that was backing hell. Go west young man !

You sure are getting good at backing into bad docks.
Thanks for showing what it can really be like. I'm taking a CDL and this is what gives me chills.

Yo ! Respect You Fighting the NE .. Fromthe DMV . . For you being as Young as you are & not from NE but Doing it .. I COMMEND U. . BE SAFE
i wen't to school in NY and its tight for trucking same has NJ there both the same..
You got Spunk & I Like Someone Who Drives That Has Spunk. Safe Travels, Always, Tommy :-)
Much respect!!! I wish you would've kept recording during your backups. Super tight and unfortunately a lot of people driving, riding their bikes and walking are completely unaware of how difficult some of these maneuvers are. Thanks for the video.
Keep the videos coming bro.. I have my own dump truck but thinking about buying a rig. Not coming North lol
Man it's bad on the E coast
thats nuts. you handled that well
It is your tractor and trailer you can put a set of back up lamps on the trailer so you can see while backing into the dark docks and other parking spaces . If it is my stuff it would not get damaged and then i have to pay out money to fix it ...
They should only send straight trucks in those areas🤦🏾♀️
Exactly! Now someone thinking like me
Have you ever been to the underground caves in Missouri? They look tight inside but plenty of room if you know how to manuever correctly. Yea I’ve been to two of them it’s not bad
Man this is why I don't go to those areas. I stay away from the northeast. Lol
This & Mountains
keep on truckin ! come up north, Canada has some nice places too !
Bad ass! Greetings from "spacious" Sweden!
Reasons why I pull a flatbed. I'm Newark all the time man.
You got my vote.. video like 👍!!
1:38 lmao that dude got jump scared
That’s real trucking brother 👍
The fact that you take jobs others normally wouldn't or do goes to show how good of a trucker you really are. That is awesome!
You people are so full of shit. Take jobs no o ne else want. I used to blind side in a dock at night with a 285 inch Pete and 53 ft trailer. What he just did is. Nothing.

Trial by fire young man it builds character it really separates the driver from the steering wheel holder
How much those loads paying per mile? I’ve averaging 3 to 4 running tx, ok, mo, ark, tn.
Amazing video man! Keep it up
I was just going to say its because u r a good driver
Good job driver.... been to Jersey several times, it sucks.
Amazing skills!!!
Live in NJ. You must be one of those southern rookies who bought his CDL in Walmart… 😂 good maneuvers though, you are getting better .
Reason 6000 why I’ll never deliver a load to the north east 🤦♀️
Love the tight driving! Your 3rd drop looks like Atlantic city nj?
Dang, reinforces why I stay out of the East Coast 😳 Well done 👍
You certainly go to some dank, old, shitty, run down non-truck friendly places to pick up and deliver. But it has boosted your skills considerably. Slow and steady, you're doing well. 👍
Nice video great job docking
Tropicana south tower loading dock very tight dock
That was a nice Scania, must be hard to get parts for that truck in the USA
@@yardlimit8695 Well we use metric in Europe 🤣
I hate nj and I live here. Was ready to quit trucking my first few months during local.
Especially with the class xl. Hood! Like. Turning a tank!:lol
They need to pay way more for this type of BS. If they arent going to raise the rate, then send 2 box trucks in. Its ridiculous where they expect these trucks to fit and wonder why noone wants to do it.

It's nice down in Vineland. I go to a few places down there delivering flour
Wow I just watched your video and I’am surprised that they do not have a spotter for you
The guy marking that bridge was high haha
I am so grateful I do not have to drive in NJ or downtown Philly anymore. Some tight spots and shitty areas.
I'm from New Jersey, not a place a truck driver should be.😔
Try New York 😂
@@raspy1135 oh I know
getting in that deck would be some great footage if you would ever be making training videos. get youself a pork roll sandwich for coffee break you earned it!!
Wow the one day I don't go to Atlantic City you're there making a delivery I could have met you and bought you lunch maybe some other time
Howdy 🤠 good work ✌️👍
Vineland Nj that’s my neck of the woods! Where are u headed
Wow.... Those docks are terrible and the laziness of the people and that trashy yard is terrible. If they were to clean it up better and organize it, it would be MUCH easier. Nice skills brother.
That restaurant @ the days inn food is pretty good
My guy really imported the scania thoooo
Never want to go to New Jersey again.... very tight place! And lot of low bridges
Great video and I enjoy your comments!!
Truck wash; hmmmm I thought we all used WINDEX to see out the side mirrors.
At 3:33, you said ‘fire extinguishers’ but think you meant hydrants.
That dock wasn’t built for newer 53’ trailers, I suspect...more likely the older shorter ones with day cabs.
Cab over and 45' trailers. Used to have a length limit on the whole truck. They got rid of that in the 70s I think.
Yea sure did, idk why I said extinguisher lol.
Doing some Austin Powers movements there
My husbands dad drove a semi for 27 years! And trust me he hates NYC and New jersey lol
dang wish you woulda made video of backing in
They should make regulations for docks. This shits ridiculous.
Docks in jersey are always tight especially in the north east
I get a laugh every time someone compares my long nose to a day cab. Depending on the bunk setup and if it was a tandem or single axle, you're looking at a major length and wheelbase difference.
Plenty of Scania trucks in the us
Respect. I would never
I feel your pain... Everything in NJ Sucks... EVERYTHING
Nicely done. What a pain in the arse.
I had the rattling dash also. Very annoying 😠
I can't stand going into new jersey through the I95. Especially the areas with older brick and mortar buildings. Worst places to dock. Just as bad as Brooklyn and downtown Chicago.
