- Really short-lived model here. I'm guessing later 60s, but I've never seen this LG98 in a catalog so I can't say for sure. And check out that color!

Great sounding guitar.
A Hendrix-version of Let It Be! :-) I love it.
My goal in life is to own that many guitars

You seem to know a lot about Guyatone guitars! Is the SG 28 a rare guitar!?
I'd say so, only made for about a year.
@@drowninginguitars I have one and its really unique. It plays amazing. I have never seen another one for sale or at other stores. Norman's Rare Guitars could not locate one! I wonder how much it would go for?
@@timdasilva2806 Currently I'm not sure. This model was only sold in the Japanese market so you see more of them there. That's where I bought this one. And I believe they only came in this color.
@@drowninginguitars thanks for the reply! I checked the Japanese market for availability and came up with nothing. I know of 2 of them in large collections belonging to Alex Lifeson of Rush and Rick Nielson of Cheap Trick. Randy Bachman is supposed to have one but I could not confirm this. The 2 that I know of were attained in Japan. What did you pay and how much do you think they are worth today? Japanese guitars are becoming very collectable from stars like Jack White showing huge interest in them! Thanks again!
@@timdasilva2806 there's one for sale for 1100. On eBay from Japan right now
