This was helpful. There are several of yours I really like. Of the ones you ask us about, my favourite is #1 with #2 a very close second. I hope you printed them.
Great video 👍 To be honest I liked all of them but number 3 is my favourite 👌 I use Noir all the time especially in the middle of the day creating really strong contrast shadows.
@@JayMacroPhotosTones and Colours are subjective, One Professional Photographer might prefer Noir but the other Professional Photographer might prefer Mono as Tones and Colours are personal, for me, I prefer Mono but each to their own and my favourite Monochrome film of all time is Agfa Scala 200, such amazing tonal tones, mid contrast and very fine grain made me fall in love with it

I’m for number 2 since I love abstract. Noir is my favorite setting on the iPhone camera. You are the only photographer so far that did a video on the Noir feature. Great work and thanks for sharing!
I know you took all these images with an iPhone but how can I get a similar look using my Sony A7iii? Is there a Noir filter or preset in Lightroom by chance?
I’m sure there’s probably a noir preset somewhere. But what I do is usually select the Lightroom default BW presets category and I believe there’s one that has a BW preset with 5 in the name. Keep in mind my version of Lightroom is not the newest so not sure if it has the same name with more updated software. After I select that I just play with the white slider to increase the whites and darken the blacks.

Thanks for voting! I do print some for a small album so I can look back and remember what I did.

Wow those are awesome ❤❤❤❤
When I try to capture B&W photos on my iPhone 15 pro they are round?
Sorry I’m not sure what you mean. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a round photo other than from a 360 camera.
I’m thrown between 2/3. But I’m going say 3 because of human element. Great job
Thanks for voting! Yeah the human element really does add a lot to it.
