@@Sylarclone I have to correct you on that, scoundrels actually do have a higher intelligence stat than scouts, they actually get 4 more points than scouts regardless of how many points you put in intelligence. the only thing the scout has over the Scoundrel is there hacking skills and the ability to use less repair parts than other classes. now there is one benefit about the Scout class in particular, they do tend to get more feats than a Scoundrel, but that only has to do with will power. there the only class that's somewhat resistant to negative status effects, whether a dark jedi uses the force against or a grenade gets thrown at you. they also get implants at level 1 and they also have the uncanny dodge ability, other than that the Scout and Scoundrel are very similar. the scout is actually a little bit better at melee combat but not by much. however the Scoundrel is quicker overall, and when it comes to two weapon fighting the Scoundrel surprisingly is better than the scout. not better than a soldier but pretty close.

Kamala Castley: not neccesarily, you can't open locked doors without security if you don't have a party member with you that has that skill. even then I don't wanna constantly have to switch to a companion to do that, I like to do myself. as long as you put atleast 1 point into security that's all you need, when it comes to opening locked containers that's where Mission Vao comes in handy, but on most locked doors you only need atleast one point in security. some of the other planets once you get off of Dantoone that's where an extra point in security can be helpful if you don't take Mission with you everywhere you go, I don't do that.

@@Sylarclone Thanks for the clarification.
@@rundc6979 Not a problem. Points in it could absolutely work depending on how you want to play the game. I have noticed that I am relying more on demolitions but do not have points into it.
@@Sylarclone Thanks, and another thing too that I realized. How high does my awareness need to be to pick up deadly mines? How high does my demolition skill need to be to recover deadly mines?
Is it possible to make a mando build lol
Still waiting for the next episode of this playthrough....
This was just a build video. The playthrough was not started yet. Gotta finish KOTOR 2 first
@@Sylarclone Wanting to go ahead and try for myself, do you have a recommendation on jedi type and at what lvl to transition?
@@dejaview19 I'm thinking soldier for this and transitioning at level 5 so im going to be holding a few levels on Taris
@@Sylarclone Do you mean guardian? I was thinking lvl 5 would be good too, just so you can max out force powers potential. I hope you get to this play-through soon, this is one of the classics of my childhood and its nice to see someone playing it in 2020.
Ok, been testing out Jedi classes for this and I would avoid guardian if you want to keep building up persuade and security. The extra feats are nice but the 1 skill point per lvl kills it. I starting to use a counselor instead and it feels like a much better balance (though I haven't tried sentinel yet).
What are these so called "light" sabers? This is the Star Wars universe we're talking about come on
Security is a waste of points
Kamala Castley: not neccesarily, you can't open locked doors without security if you don't have a party member with you that has that skill. even then I don't wanna constantly have to switch to a companion to do that, I like to do myself. as long as you put atleast 1 point into security that's all you need, when it comes to opening locked containers that's where Mission Vao comes in handy, but on most locked doors you only need atleast one point in security. some of the other planets once you get off of Dantoone that's where an extra point in security can be helpful if you don't take Mission with you everywhere you go, I don't do that.
