My vet wants to start my CAV on Spironolactone because she just discovered he has a heart murmur. Is that when you usually start yours? Thank you
Does the dog have heart enlargement? Have you had an echocardiogram or seen a cardiologist? That is not usually the first drug.
What can you give a cat for hairballs?
What supplements do you recommend for less than a yr old pomeranian?

Why do your animals have these health issues despite years of raw feeding and preventative care? Just curious about the limitations of these supplements.Thanks Dr Judy - a big fan.
This is an old video originally recorded on 7/14/2021. Please keep in mind that I rescue Cavalier Spaniels, dogs who have preexisting issues, not to mention the problems that come with that bread in general. It is my job to give them the best care and life possible!

Hi Dr Judy got a puppy Maltese with terrible eye stains and can’t give turmeric paste, accidentally ate my 9 yr old Yorkies food that included Turmeric paste. Well it stained his face, and do like the benefits don’t like the stains. What do I do?

Lost my boy in March to cardiac arrest at home. He had grade 6 mvd and his heart was shaking his body crazy that night. Not sure why blood came out of him after the poo. I am feeling bad that I never knew about these supplements that could’ve helped him along with all the medication.
Hi Dr. Morgan, I have a 12.6y Manchester Terrier that will eat fine for a week or 2 then stops eating. She has had 2 seizures a month apart 1st in September & 2nd in Oct that had her doing heavy panting then lay down and stretch and cry out in pain. She was taken to emergency each time ,but nothing was resolved,the blood work showed her kidneys were not 100
%. I put her on raw diet,cow heart and liver, sardines,probiotic chewable, CBD oil and brush her teeth with coconut oil with neem. She sleeping more and struggles to jump up on the coach. I spend over $1000 dollars only to be told they could refer me to a neurologist and if that doesn’t show anything then a cardiologist. Very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I don't see her answering comments too much anymore. You might be better off e-mailing her. I would personally suggest taking her to a canine chiropractor; if she is subluxated, the vets are not trained to see those more subtle issues that can regardless cause a lot of pain.
Which capsules of fish oil do you recommend ?
Dr. Morgan has encapsulated fish oil. She recommends using those. If you can give fish oil she recommends Icelandic pure. She uses this for her pups too.

Dr Judy, does your senior formula have to be given 30 minutes prior to a meal?
Hi Tammy - Totally fine to give with food or crush it into a powder. Optimal absorption is before food, however they will still get plenty of benefit if it is fed with food. I give mine with meals. Hope this helps.
Dr. Judy, could the PEA cause stomach upset.
It normally should not. But I would start slow on Pea and then build my way to the full dosage.
