Fenelon Falls - Must visit place in Canada | Travel Vlog | Kawartha Lakes

- This Vlog is a part of our one day trip to Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes. After enjoying a sunny beach day, we were headed to Fenelon Falls a famous spot in the city of Kawartha. It is called Jewel of Kawarthas for all the right reasons.
This is a small town but becomes busy during summers due to tourism. Fenelon Falls is not your regular waterfall, rather it is located in the middle of town. There is a bridge above the falls and the water is diverted for power generation. The river is part of the Trent Severn Waterway and lock 34 is next to the falls. This area between the lock and the falls is open to the public and has beautiful views to offer.
We were there for half an hour and were surprised to see full width of falls and water leveling in front of our eyes. Fenelon Falls is about 2 hours North of Toronto and is easily accessible.

I went to the same place on my Canadian food tour! 🍦🍦🍦 I tried Tiger Tail, which is orange and licorice (?!?)- flavour invented in Canada! I also got moose tracks flavour just to be extra Canadian 😂 If you’re ever in the area again you should try Butter Tarts, the Kawartha Lakes are famous for them- SOOO YUMMMMMY!! 🤤
