- Today, we continue on with our travel vlog documenting our trip to Kinmount, Bobcaygeon, and Fenelon Falls in the Kawartha Lakes area of Ontario, Canada. Join us as we explore these quaint towns where we peek into their histories, see beautiful waterways, eat at a delicious restaurant, visit local shops, and make some fun purchases along the way. We are trying to do and see as much as we can during our one week hiatus from farm life. We will be back posting sheep videos before you know it, but in the meantime, we hope you will enjoy our vacation time as much as we do.
This has been our first days off from sheep farming in two years, so we are enjoying the break and exploring the area around our cottage in the Kawartha Lakes area of Ontario, Canada.
We will be back to sheep farming vlogs as soon as we get home. In the meantime, you may watch some of our hundreds of farming videos from our library or join us on our vacation!
I hope you enjoy this video. If you would like to follow along with us and experience life on a real working sheep farm on a daily basis, please subscribe so that you don't miss a single episode!
Thank you for taking the time to watch! We love to hear from you so be sure to leave a comment as well.
Thank you!

You found quite a few cool souvenirs. I like the tea towel best of all.
Lovely and informative thanks
My pleasure
Thanks for tour!❤😊😊😊
You're welcome 😊
Another great day filled with beautiful scenery with a bit of history!! Hopefully the old mill operation will be maintained for future visitors. Thanks so much for taking us along!! Stay safe!
I hope so too!
I'm having a blast!!!! Thanks!
So glad!
Can see where water played important part of daily life! So much history there.
Yes, water was and is critical
Yea towel would look great in a homemade frame. Glad you’ve settled into vacation mode!
I think so too!
It is very neat! And agree with the framing idea for the kitchen.
That moose statue is bomb, I love it so much 🦌🧡🤎
Yes, I would love it in my yard!😆
I wonder if the beaver used to hold a scrub brush, giving the moose a good scrub.
@@justinanovak8040we were thinking he was probably holding a Canadian flag!😄
Such lovely scenery. I’m so happy that y’all are bringing us along for your journey 🤍🤍🤍🥰
More to come!
💕💕💕💕
I am enjoying your vacation.
That's great! Viewership tends to decrease when I don't do sheep videos but this is part of our Farming life and the alternative would be no videos 🙂 So, it is good to hear that some people like our "other" content 🥰
You guys always find the neat stuff to look at and find. I wish I was there with you guys. The moose and beaver were awesome thanks again for sharing your vacation with me. My family used to own property outside of Huntsville, Ontario. Makes me wish we still had it.
It's quite busy in this area now but it is beautiful. A cottage outside of Huntsville would be a dream!
It makes me wonder who invented the locks systems for getting boats around the falls ? The views up there are so pretty ! Thanks for taking us along !
I know it was all done by the government with labour mainly from Europe and the UK, I believe. It is amazing to me that so much was spent on recreational waterways. That wouldn't be the case today!
I went to England in 2007 and i fell in love with a big honking cadbury chocolate roll, the thing was huge, took me days and days to eat it, was very rich, but good! Those chocolate bars look so good!
The British have great sweets as they call them. I also love going there and getting an ice cream cone with a Cadbury Flake in it!
@@EwetopiaFarms OHHH that sounds good! I guess i missed the ice cream flake dessert. European chocolate is far better than some american chocolate very rich!
i had a great time on your vacation! lol thank you so much for sharing. i don’t get out much. i really appreciate you both.
Thanks for coming along with us! I love watching travel shows by others so I thought some people might like to get a little taste of Canada especially like you said, when you don't get to travel much yourself anymore.
Good morning! 🌹🌹🌹
Good morning!
Such quaint little towns! Love them. The falls are beautiful! Rushing water always sounds peaceful to me. The red oak leaves…oh my! The historical vignettes are so interesting. That moose is huge! Lol, at first I thought the beaver was a cougar. 🦫😉
Glad you enjoyed! I guess a cougar is a Canadian cat so that is understandable however sitting on a moose's back probably wouldn't be a good omen for the moose! LOL!
Great video, really interesting area. We are on the road as I am commenting. Heading to my cousin in Niagara Falls, we make border crossing early Sunday and we will see you then.
Much bigger falls there!😆 Enjoy and we'll see you soon! Drive safe
What a shame that they haven't restored the saw mill. What a beautiful peice of history, it would be a shame to let it decay. I love history.
Yes, we do too.
Good afternoon Arnie and Lynn. That saw mill was such a cool building Too bad they didn’t keep it up. A real piece of history. The old pictures are so interesting. The waterwheel was so neat that it still spun. The size of those old gears was amazing. Old equipment has charm and character. Loved seeing you swing. I believe that there is always a child in us which adds to the enjoyment we have in life. What a pleasant spot for lunch. Arnie is so at home talking to people. The redo canal locks seem to be more impressive. The falls were so pretty. I agree with you there is something about rushing water. You have to appreciate the power that it has and the beauty in that power. I love water and the sounds it makes. I really like your duck. A great addition to your collection. That beaver is pretty cute. So glad you had a nice trip and got some fun things to take home and the special sheep towel. Big big hugs to both of you. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😉😉
Yes, all is going well. The locks here are definitely different from those back home on the Rideau Canal. Tomorrow's video will show a completely different type of lock which we hadn't seen in real life before. Thanks for joining us again!🥰🥰🥰🥰
What a lovely day of exploring. So glad you found a duck for your collection. What kind was it? So far you have had pretty good weather. Be safe
I think it is an eider duck
