Ever had them as a young lad but as I get older and the hearing is starting to go I do like having them fitted
Hi Ian, how does one check or know whether the cam chain tension is correct and whether it is worn and needs to be replaced? My cam chain is quite noisy and I've heard that it's normal on this engine, but there must be a point where it's too much and one needs to start making sure things are still within spec.
Hi Ian, What made you decide to go to a manual cam chain tensioner ?
Hi Daniel, the standard cam chain tensioner was at the end of it's adjustment and the cam chain was still loose! Really the cam chain needs replacing but I don't want to do it until I take the engine apart for a rebuild and some upgrades, so the manual tensioner has more adjustment so I can keep using this cam chain until then.
Hey I have a question on a mk2 bandit 1200 if I wanted to change it from faired to naked what will I have to change like yoke brackets for clocks etc love the vids 👍
Thanks Lee, I’m not 100% up on the mk2 but I believe you need to replace the clocks for the N model along with the headlight brackets etc
LOL you'll be test riding same time I get mine back home :) great videos, thanks!
