Never heard of this band but My Goodness!!! I almost didn’t watch this because I wasn’t familiar at all but sooo glad I did 🎼🎤♥️ What a voice & great musicians!!
I so agree, Vickie 🧡 I hope that there’ll be more Dirty Loops on this channel. If not, check out their other songs on their UA-cam channel. Every song is fire and a masterclass in itself 🔥 ☺️
So now you have basically heard one third of the Dirty Loops awesomeness! Do check out more from them, and be amazed. I am pretty sure you will enjoy it, and so will we! Thanks for the reaction! Oh, don’t miss the info in Lotta’s comment. Work shit out, Next to you, Follow the light, Rock you, World on fire, all the old covers (quite special), Thriller (yes, the Thriller), Hit me, …
I just love to see someone discover Dirty Loops for the first time and have their mind blown. Thanks for that! They started the group as a hobby project in 2008, as they were a bit bored with the restrictions that comes with working as a session musician, and wanted a place where they could try all their own ideas out, and they never thought it would be anything other than that. At that point Jonah had never sung lead and didn't even know if he could, even though he'd sung in choirs (mostly chamber choir style) his whole life. In 2010 they put up a video on youtube (a cover of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance"), as a booking reference, to see if they could get a gig or two, just for fun, as they thought their music was way too unsexy for anyone to actually like it. Needless to say, they were completely wrong. The video went viral and a LOT of people absolutely loved it. If you want to check out more of them, you could more or less pick a song at random on their channel, and you most likely would not be disappointed. Everything they've ever released is of this ridiculous musical quality, and they're just as good live. Saw them at a small outdoors jazz festival in northern Sweden last year, and I'm still on a musical high from that concert. It was stupendous!
Welcome to the deep rabbit hole that is Dirty Loops ☺️ I love that song, although it’s one of their few slower ballads, but still so hard hitting…. Another Dirty Loops original requested here by a few, which I think you’re like: “Work Shit Out”🔥 (link below). Then there is EVERYTHING else they’ve ever done ;) Enjoy the deep dive, and thanks for a great react. Your face said it all ;) 👍
When I saw this pop up I couldn't wait to see your reaction. Most reactors do some other songs from them and this one not as much, although it's one of my favorites of theirs. I knew you would have a good reaction to them, they are just a killer band, and most of what they do live is just as good as their studio stuff. Without a doubt take a look at Next to You, Rock You and Work Shit Out if you want to be stunned. Oh, and before I forget their version of Thriller is probably the best ever cover of that song they do along with Cory Wong and his brass band. They also collaborate on a song called Follow the Light very well.
Please check out more, think you will love it all!😍They are truly unique, all three of them - and together. And yeah, I´m off to see the next month, here in Stockholm! 🙂
Thanks Sal - it is so gratifying to see someone discover DL for the first time. I adore them. These guys are musicians personified. I can see you are loving this one. My fav is Follow the Light, a collaboration DL did with Cory Wong. From the same session, you might also like Thriller... yes, that Thriller. :) More DL please!
All three are phenomenal. The drummer and the bassist are out of this world on higher energy songs like “Get Shit Done” or their amazing collaborations with Corey Wong. Keep going!
I've been loopy for Dirty Loops for the last year. They are fantastic and I want more. Please don't stop, you have so much more to discover about them.
Good you found these cats! Seems like you appreciate the vibe. Two tracks you should hear “Next To You” & “Work Shit Out” The latter especially imo will give you a better view of the musical chops each of these guys has, which are simply put - elite.
Please react to Next To You, it will probably blow your mind. They take you on a journey and you'll see what monsters these guys are. Henrik on the bass is an absolute animal, and Aron on the drums as well. One mind-blowing thing about Next To You is that Jonah is doing all the vocals, and I mean ALL. The choirs and everything. Another great song that you can react to is Follow The Light, where you'll see Henrik being a beast on the bass.
@@fiddlestix3025 For real! Thanks! I've been tunneling down some alternative rabbit holes here lately, some musical, some not. But I've been missin' the DL bliss & the chatter! 💜
yes, let's hear you hear more (and see)... In a way, this one is an outlier being a kind of ballad, so very interesting to see you start your journey here. As it was my first time seeing you, I couldn't decide if your "faces" were ones of pleasure or disgust 🙂so that was fun, and maybe something to add to your CV/skills table ;-)
These guys are my FAVORITES. I found them through a comment on a Snarky Puppy performance, and am so glad I followed up! Check Work Sh*t Out and also Follow the Light (with Cory Wong). Breakdown gives you a peak into Jonah's skills (vocalist, keys) Work Sh*t Out lets Aron break loose (drummer) and Follow the Light has some of best bass I've ever heard (Henrik). All three are formidable musicians, and the way they give and take and work together is a dream. Since they signed they've been scarce on UA-cam, but the body of work here is still just crazy good.
Thanks for the request Will, this is such an underrated song from them. I think it's a masterpiece myself, so sexy sultry and slinky. Tasty fills all over the place, epic vocals. Great request.
First ABBA and now Dirty Loops! Why not just turn this into a Swedish music reaction channel and keep churning them out! Great react and thanks for trying DL out. Please do more of them and I promise you will be rewarded. 🙌🏻
Oh.... but they are *SO* good. :) Apparently this is what happens when all 3 of the truly virtuosic students in that year of the national music conservatoire (in this case Sweden's) all get along and form a band.... & thank the Lord they did, because Dirty Loops are truly special.

They were in our country in April and I missed it. This autumn (November) they are coming again. This time I´ll be there.
👍
Let’s know how it went.
To hear them play live would be the ultimate….
They are amazing live as well - saw them back in 2014 and then again this summer. Just so insanely talented all of them! My favorite band... 😍

He sounds a lot like Michael Jackson mixed with Stevie Wonder and a little George Michael.
Please check out their cover of Thriller with Cory Wong! It will blow your mind! 🔥🔥

I am getting Savage Garden vibes, with some Stevie Wonder type jazziness thrown in.
Sweet.
"Savage Garden -- Truly Madly Deeply" -- check that out.

Michael Jackson? 🤔
🇸🇪🎼🇸🇪
I hear Micheal Jackson and George Michael. First listen to this man. I shall research his library for more.
Someone said in a comment that if Stevie Wonder, Prince and MJ would have a baby it, would be Jonah Nilsson.
