In the games I’ve played she definitely feels suited for multiplayer over solo. I really hope we get some Gamma cards in the future Great vid, can’t wait for Rocket!
I love the thematics of using Justice, not only because it works so well, but FFG made sure it correlates with her being a lawyer perfectly. I personally enjoy solo games with her because of the powers her cards bring and the ability of the heavy hit late game... assuming you can make it there by balancing some heavy midgame thwarts depending on the villain you're up against. Great content!
The thing about multiplayer, is someone else can handle the threat, meaning She-Hulk Aggression can be a great and fun minion clearer who can easily turn around and finish the villain. Super Human Strength forced response doesn't trigger if the opponent cant be stunned (such as being defeated or already stunned). That means 7 attack in kit, plus Symbiote Suite and Combat Training for 9 atk. Ground stomp lacks the attack keyword so doesn't trigger the response either so it can be used at will to soften targets or pop tough if needed. Add a Hand Canon for another 2 attack and Overkill to chip the villain or pop extra hardy minions. If 11 atk and Overkill still isn't enough you can add Skilled Strike or follow up after with a Gamma Slam.
All I ever played was she-hulk/justice for the first year of MC. Gamma Slam and Split Personality, although situational, are still some of the strongest cards in the game imo.
Great video! Really appreciated the cost curve portion you added with the insight into deck building. She’s on my list to go back and play against the core set villains.
@@NelsonAllOverCards absolutely! Powerful Punch & Counter-Attack + Momentum Shift & What Doesn't Kill me sounds like a fun way to play her. She wouldn't generate flipping damage, but she also wouldn't be generating schemes either.
I recently started playing with to see if can make her be good. And i found out at i liked her more with each game. What i did is that i started playing her with bunch of one time upgrades (which you discard when you use them). I dont play pretty much any events, only support and upgrades. Idea is to prepare all of these to one turn kill combo. She can dish out quite lot damage on her own so "doing nothing" its not something that hold her down and she have so much hit points that she can afford it. Also this helps getting around her small hand size because these cards are often cheap to play and you can use them when you need them. Yeah its slow and there are better heroes but its so fun.
Something to consider with Ground Stomp that sets it apart from Beat`Em Up is the keywords. Groundstomp being a Superpower means you could put a Deft Focus in She-Hulk's Deck as she would have some triggers for it.
If Legal Practice was more like Cap America's Shield Toss it would actually be more playable I think, maybe 2 threats per card discarded or 3 threats in X schemes? too broken? 🤔 I had a lot of fun playing the green gamma cousins against Green Goblin Mutagen, it was really hard, as I lost and lost, but learned so much and finally I won. Both heros are natural minion controllers, She-Hulk justice kept threat under control long enough.
Sorry about that! I’m trying to keep these on topic so I referenced this video which goes into depth talking about the cost curve: ua-cam.com/video/CFRZ6Y93Rl4/v-deo.html Hope it helps!

Great vid, can’t wait for Rocket!
Thanks!! Yea getting gamma support would be awesome!
I play two-handed solo and She Hulk is a top five hero for me.
Oh nice! Yea I’m curious to o @jl’s questions too! I’ll need to try her in a two handed game sometime!
I play her Justice, but mostly use grey cards
Wow a Layer who is good in Justice. What a shocking discovery, Ha!
😂 😂
Great review Nelson

They are game changing to be sure! They can be tough to pull off, but super fun when it does happen!

So glad! Thank you for the feedback!
Excellent point about her in multi-player. She may have some interesting multiplayer builds outside of Justice.
Yea! It’ll be fun ignoring everything but damage and just going crazy!

One of my faves (we don't talk about Legal Practice...) I play two player exclusively and she's my Agression hero.
I keep hearing this and it’s really making me want to try her out soon in a two handed/multi player game!
Legal practice works best when you're about to flip and you have to dump cards anyway.
Oh yea that makes sense!

Oooh I like this idea!
Ooh that’s a tough matchup!
She-Hulk has always been fun, her mechanics are cool, it just sometimes (or often) feels like she was designed for a different game.
I just tried her out with the Core box deck. Gamma Slam in my opening hand was instant sadness.
Hi again, you could spend more time explaining the cost curve graph, I thought you were going to, then you didn't!
