My best Stinger modification is my new license plate which reads STINGRR. I have the impression that the car is now running even faster since I installed it. It cost me $94 here in CT.
I live in hot area... summer temperatures 115°🌡so I went with K&N dropping airfilters. Cold air intake would be sucking in hot air. Stock box helps separate the hot/cold air. Great video
Some company actually makes a mesh cover that goes inside the vent. Allows the air to go through but it keeps rocks from flying through. Probably a lot cheaper then the paint protectors and easier to install.
@@JulianWithAnX I am in Australia do you have any links where I can buy them in the States because we don't have much after market items for the Stinger here :) the most things we have in our vents are big hairy spiders.
@@lawmanlawreaper Turns out its not a product but a diy. Essentially people on the forums bought regular metal mesh and cut it out in the shape of the vent opening. Post 47 on the forums has a picture that explains it better. stingerforum.org/threads/side-vent-mesh.8318/page-3
Hope you see this, can you link the exhaust tips you bought? I just installed JUN BL Downpipe and MBRP Exhaust, there's some heavy drone noise in the cabin and I know one way to get rid of some is exhaust tips but I'm having issues of finding good ones.
Hey man car looks sick. Where’d you get those tips and clamps. Also info on the resonator would be greatly appreciated. I’m looking at the same exhaust but wanna limit drone.
To be honest no lol. I took mine to a shop to get done and they ended up gapping them incorrectly so i had to take them out and replace them myself. Car runs fine now but they gapped it to wide before. If anything id gap them on your own before you go and then have them install them.
www.k8stingerstore.com/products/korean-center-console I got mine on ebay but this one is the same. Probably get it faster cuz its coming from within the us instead of korea. And thanks!
I dont know how i didnt find that before haha. Just had to replace a rim twice in one month so car funds are a little low but ill get around to it. Thanks!
aren't you afraid the JB4 will void your warranty? from what I understand, even though its a "piggy back" they, can still get detailed readouts of prior enhanced torque levels
Probably wont have the car long enough for that to matter, i also dont have the jb4 enabled most times so i doubt it adds too much more stress to the car. We’ll see though, lifes no fun without some risks.
What about the all-weather floor mats? Did you add the exhaust tips before or after the mid-pipes? I just got the MBRP cat back as well, but I'm trying to keep the stock tips as long as I can.
Aside from break pads the cars been solid. Generally always have the jb4 on too so far so good. Ive only had mine for a little over a year but guys have been running theirs tuned since launch and havent had problems
Yea its a little annoying how they split the options based on the country. The g70 gets a full digital dash in some markets but not an option in the us
@@jgonzalez4824 the breaks are the only problem ive had on this car. I mentioned it a little on my other video but essentially i had to get kia corporate involved and id rather take the jb4 off when i go in for break service (on my second dealership and 3rd visit now) just to be safe lol.
@@JulianWithAnX I see, I had the same issue with mines and they replaced the front rotors but put back the same pads that are the ones the cause the problem. So I installed new pads and it brakes much better now. Hope you did the same as the oem pads are no good and leave residue that cause the vibration on the rotors.
Haha at the time i had a couple of stray cats living in my parking garage and they would leave paw prints all over after every wash so i just left it unwashed for a while

Any sound differences??;
Can you do a walk through of life with the jb4, and how it affects the car
Sure! I’ll probably make a video showing all the tuning options
@@JulianWithAnX yeah because i want to get the jb4 but dont really know how it all works one i plug everything in
Yes to camera video 📷👍
Nice , I also have a micro blue stinger gt, looks like we have done some similar cosmetic stuff
Blues the best color imo!
they sell plenty of gloss option spoiler in that design
Haha i found after posting this that theres a bunch of options. Will probably change in the near future
Hey man thanks for shared ur beast is right and good looks bravo man.
Nice video. Nice car. That blue looks clean!! I can’t wait to get my GT2 I’m thinking about dropping the 12k+ for that LAP3 upgrade
If you do it definitely let me know haha id be super interested to see it
For sure. I just got off the road. Gonna go to the Kia dealership tomorrow.
I have my front and rear sways set to hard, love them!
Can you make a video how install the body color side marker
Does the piggyback tune void the warranty
thanks I did not know stones come through the wheel vents so cheers for that.

@@JulianWithAnX Nice thank you for hat
Nice Stinger and thanks for the uploads. Hoping 🙏 to get an AWD soon. Does adding the JB4 messes with the MPG to your Stinger?

Any issues with the car? Looking at the tuner and intake too
Nice video! How much power are you .asking to the wheels with those mods?
Will you be adding a larger inter cooler?
How much was the paint protection
yes
n00b question - does adding an aftermarket exhaust system void the car warranty ?
As far as i know no. I’ve had warranty work done with the exhaust on.
