@@MJADoingStuff All Good. Had to laugh (sort of) about your fitting issue tying in the lines to the pump on the tractor. Just did a 3rd. scv on my JD 3520 (esentially an electronic rear set of connects ) This came as a factory add on from deere. None of the tranny fittings were the right size . Guess it happens to us all. I don't use a bucket on mine because i was a good-boy and my wife let me aquire a tracked bobcat. So, for mowing in heavy brush, i added a heavy front bumper to keep the sprouts off my paint job, and welded up some tabs for a set of wide LED lights . Now i can see all the way in to the next county. Fun stuff to play with.
Oh yeah, one other easy mod that I like . Think u added a hydro top link in your vid. That was the main reason I put on rear quick connects. Because I misplace everything, took some bar stock, welded on a couple of 3/4 pins, added two square u bolts and bolted the mount to my rops so I would not loose the old top link and have it in the field if it needed to be used. Love this stuff!
Great job! This video is really helpful. This video is the essence of why I am a UA-cam addict. It has been empowering and has not steered me wrong yet.
Thanks I appreciate that 😁 I tried not waste to much time talking about it. There was so much to do so I cut it down to a minimum. Hope it helps you out thanks for checking it out 🚜💨🍳
Watched this once before I ordered by summit hydraulics kit and am watching again now while I’m installing. My tractor is a different color… but this video is fantastic! The summit kit is great but their instructions are not quite where they could be. The descriptions are good but the illustrations are just about useless. Thanks for putting this together- it’s been very helpful!
Your welcome Josh H😁 I am glad to help. In some ways I am lucky I didn’t get instructions. It gave me a chance to organize my own steps to complete the project. This video took forever to edit😂 I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Have a great weekend. 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Hi Mitch! Great job on the installation and the tutorial! Can’t believe there were no instructions included. That’s pretty lame of Summit. It’s a complicated project but I like that you get 4 rear remotes AND a third function in one kit. Thanks for sharing!
Morning Martin Thanks for checking out the video. I was a little overwhelmed in the beginning of the video but ones I got started it all came together 😁 I probably would have not used the instructions the entire time anyway😂After editing I can really appreciate all the hard work that you put in your videos. I have been watching your videos for years. I am finally starting to understand how difficult it is to make a DIY video. Thanks for leaving a comment have a great Sunday 😁👍🚜💨💡
Wow. Just wow. You did a fantastic job on this Mitch. Great explanations, completely logical and clear. From a video standpoint your lighting, camera angles and edits are excellent. I feel certain that this is a video with "legs". As more and more people opt for that kit I think your view count on this one will just keep going and going. Start to finish...A++ Not to mention....you now have tractor SUPERPOWERS!!!
Thank you Chris for your awesome comment👍 I worked really hard on this one. I hope you are right. Now I have more options for Super attachments too!😁👍🚜💨🍻
Mitch, wowwwwww.... this is THEE BEST rear remote video install on youtube...PERIOD! Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put in to this install video.
Thanks 😁👍 It’s a great system I have had no problems with it so far. I appreciate the kind words. I have a upgrade video coming for the system just trying to finish setting up the shop. Thanks for checking out the video and have a happy and safe New Year’s 😁👍🚜💨🍻
I used to work for a kabota dealership in Texas! Your video is the clearest video for installation of multiple functions on a small kubota. Even dealership instructions were questionable 🤔😅😕! Enjoyed the video and it should help many owners who are interested in getting more out of their tractors!
Thank you 👍 It was not easy using the camera for every step but someone had to do it 😂 I appreciate you checking out the video and leaving such kind words😁 Have a great week😁👍🚜💨💡
Thanks for the video. It was very helpful as it related to assembling the Hydraulic block. I just completed the installation of the third function and rear valve kit on my 2025R. The part that was very helpful was when you had your cross-thread. I had the exact same thing happen in the exact same place! If I hadn't seen your video I would not have known how to fix it. A quick visit to the local big box and $20 later, I had the problem fixed. Thanks again!
Your welcome😁 I am glad you found it helpful. That one hole was a bugger. Sometimes it is the little things that jam you up😂👍Have a good one and thank you for your awesome comment. 🚜💨🍻🌞
Hey Mitch, I finally found 30 minutes to watch! Wow, I'm super impressed. All A's for video production, presentation and instruction. If I ever decide to do this install myself, your video will be the install bible. So well done, man! Cheers!!
Thanks David 👍 I did the best I could with this one audio was not great but so my different position with the mic a camera. Tried to adjust it but still not great. All I keep telling myself was David puts way more time in his videos. Thanks for checking out the video and watching the whole thing. Message me if you have any pointers please. Have a great Sunday😁👍🚜💨💡
Amazing and very detailed video Mitch 👍🏻👍🏻 great job 👏🏻 . Hey Summit Hydraulics you need to give Mitch a major refund for the troubleshooting he had to do because he didn’t have any instructions 😉👍🏻. Have a great weekend Mitch 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
Thanks Luc 👍I am glad you enjoyed the video. Everything turned out ok had a few little issue but that is part of customizing things😂all and all very happy with the purchase. You have a great weekend too. looking forward to starting the sticker cabinet with your sticker 😁👍🚜💨✉️🙋🏻♂️
You did a great job installing this kit AND making such a good quality video out of it. I like how you conclude the project by adding windshield fluid to your open station tractor! This is a great kit to get, but quite expensive at first thought. But when you figure out all the single components of this kit, it justifies its price. Thanks for sharing! Joe
Thanks Joe 👍 This video was one of the hardest videos to make😁 I had the kit sitting on my work bench most of summer because work was so busy I had no time. So when It finally started slowing down at work I was very anxious about getting it done but filming it at the same time took FOREVER! 😂 I think you are the only one that noticed the windshield washer fluid joke🤣thanks for checking out the video😁👍🚜💨💡
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you… for making this video. I must’ve watched it like 10 times. I too have a B2601 and I watched it before making the decision to purchase the Summit Rear Remotes kit. Then I watched a number of times during the installation. I really appreciate you taking the time to walk through every step of the process. I was able to complete my install because of this video. You rock!
Your welcome 😁Thank you for letting me know it helped you😁 I appreciate it. I am happy that you got it installed and it turned out to be a great experience. Enjoy your new setup. Have a good one 😁👍🚜💨🍳
@@MJADoingStuff one question for you…. Does your manifold and SCVs get very hot? I just finished my install, went out and testing things for about 10-15 minutes and the Summit manifold and SCVs are blazing hot. I hit them with a temp gun and they were about 125 degrees. Just curious if this is normal or not. Thanks!
@@rvandersteen I noticed that too 😁 Turns out whatever you’re hydraulic fluid temperature is the manifold will absorb the heat. Also pushing fluid through all the small orifices causes friction and creates heat too. Good eye it is normal 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Hey I just watched your video installation of your hydraulic diverter. Just wanted to say that I really liked it because you’re just a normal guy trying to help others without all the stupid comments other UA-camrs seem to think is entertaining or funny. Again thanks for being very informative and to the point.
Fantastic. We don't have this tractor but it was a great video with lots of information and fun to watch, thanks. I can't believe they did not supply any instructions
Good Job and I'm glad you focused in on how the hoses hook up to the power beyond and the banjo return to the tank in your video. I bought the Summit 3rd function kit for my B2601 to operate a grapple and am installing it now. I ordered it back in July 2021 so I could install it over the Winter and to avoid any price increases that may have been coming. It's been pretty straight forward,. My kit came with a banjo bolt to go through the banjo to replace the factory one. No upper copper washer so I bought one locally to install. Also one of the couplers would not couple up properly. I had to order another to replace it since Summit would not replace it under warranty. They said I was past 6 months from date of purchase, but I thought there was a 1 year warranty on it. So far that has been my only issue. Anyway, It was $200+ cheaper than the Kubota / Land Pride or WR Long kits. I should have it complete on my next off day. Good Job on your video!
That’s awesome that you got it figured out. I had purchased my kit earlier last summer to for a winter project. I have been happy with it so far and it was a great price savings. It would be nice if they could offer the banjo bolt and fitting for my kit. Thanks for checking out the video. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨💡
All the remotes except a TV remote lol. Impressive hydro options for a compact tractor. Very neat! High quality video with good camera angles and information. BUT... I would use the windshield washer fluid that helps remove the bug guts. haha
Hello! So you last night on my cluttered garage live feed and I’ve seen you on there in the past. I have to tell you last night my wife and I watched a few things on your channel and you are hilarious, besides being very informative/instructive. Colleen and I both subscribed to your channel. I only regret that we didn’t try it out sooner… I love watching you do the summit rear remotes that was awesome. Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much we are doing our best without having much editing or video experience but we enjoy sharing the things we do. Thanks for checking out our videos😁👍🚜💨💡
Hey, i dont know if anyone mentioned it or not, but Summit came out with a B series kit. I ordered it a while ago and I'm just now getting around to the installation. I just wanted to let you know, this specific kit has the proper fitting for that return under the seat. And i think someone at Summit watched your video because the control box mounting bracket is no longer flimsy, its actually pretty solid. Oh, the kit did come with instructions but they are pretty hard to follow. So thank you for the very helpful and informative video. Its helping a lot.
That is awesome!!! I am glad Summit has made improvements. One day maybe they will let me have my own discount code 😂 I appreciate you watching and sharing the information. Have a great day 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Excellent. I will be installing on a JD, but your portion on assembling the manifold was really, really good. Excellent camera work! I like your shout out to TTWT, very good and respectful thing to do.
Thanks👍 I think you are really going to like the remotes. For what you get I believe it is a bargain. Tim is awesome at getting together with company's and helping tractor owner with more fun and useful options. I want a Turbo!!!🤣Thanks for checking out the video!!😁👍🚜💨💡
Great video. I think our B2601’s are different. Even with the tire off, access to the PB required removing the fender. In hindsight I wish I had the Summit valve. I installed the W.R. Long 3rd function. Your install looks neater because the valve is not beside your right foot
Thanks Gary 👍 Maybe they have different fenders or something. I am thinking 🤔 of moving it horizontally but not sure if there is room were I am thinking but got lots of other ideas 💡 to catch up on. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨💡
Thanks for checking out the video. I was thinking 🤔 the same it was hard to see in the video but the block had oil all over it so did not fell a need to lubricate the o-rings. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍻
Thanks Mark👍Glad to help someone out. It was a long video but I wanted to show everything so their are no surprises for people installing it on there own tractor 🚜. I feel like it was worth the time. Have a great week😁👍🚜💨☀️☀️
Excellent job my friend, this is a outstanding demonstration 👍👍👍 “all those years of playing with legos paid off”🤣 great idea with the tap, don’t want those threads messed up🧐
Thanks Dana 👍 I think 🤔 if I had instructions I would not have used them anyway 😂 I was a little overwhelmed with how it was going to get done and video it at the same time. Sorry the video was so long but had to show what it took to get it done. Should be no surprises for the next person. Have a great evening 😁👍🚜💨🍻
Awesome job Mitch, 👏 on the video AND putting on the hydraulic kit. Looked like it took a little bit of time and planning to get it installed. Keep up the great work Mitch 👍. Have a great weekend. Take care buddy. ✌
Absolutely superb instructional video! When I get around to actually installing the Summit kit, this will be my step by step instructions. You did such a great job on this video that I am gonna subscribe to your channel.
Excelent video and clear audio. One thing that I noticed you didnt install presure reducer valve to protect your cylinders from over preserizing them. Or they are protected somwhere up front in the circuit.
So far so good but I'm only into the video at the 11:32 point. I have a Kubota L2501 that I'm installing both the 3rd function and rear remotes and so far this has been helpful. My kit did come with instructions but they are poorly written and hard to follow. Even the Summit Hydraulic's videos are poorly done. The one thing that I did notice is that my instructions say to torque the bolts in the electric valves to 2 ft lbs. That is only 24 in lbs. 45 to 50 in lbs is way over torqued. Hopefully, this video and a little luck I will get this installed.
Quick question, I have a Kubota l3400 with a single remote at the rear. My backhoe is ran through that valve. I use a bungie strap to hold open the valve when I use the backhoe. Don’t laugh, this came from the dealership, new. Lol. My question is, this replaces that single spool valve so can I run my backhoe through it by leaving the switch for that spool on???
Well I just found your channel, instant subscriber! I'm looking to do this same thing on my L2501. I was thinking about adding the 3rd function from the rear also and was questioning where I'd make the disconnect for the loader. You sure answered that! I also like the hard connection for it at the bottom of the valve body. Makes sense. I'm wondering if the add on joystick would be necessary, it adds a lot of extra wiring, what's your thoughts to just using the rocker switch on the panel to open and close a grapple? I'll add the install video on my channel as i do it and link you in it as your explanation and detail would be hard to match. I'm a little disappointed in the quality control issue with Summit. But it's kinda the times we live in I guess. Thank God for UA-cam! Glad I found you.
Thank you for checking out our channel😁and subscribing👍I like having the joystick buttons but if you get the 4 rear remotes with 3rd function kit I am not sure if you can get the 4 switch box? If you purchase the kits separate you can get the 4 switch box separate. And because you have the loader control up front you are right the wires won't reach. I think you will get used to the controls and it will be good either way. I will be heading over to check out your channel😁👍see you soon!!
Not sure if you did, but it's typically a good idea to lubricate the o rings before you insert them into their groove etc. I think those 10-24 cap screws depending on the grade rating should only be torqued to about 25-30 inch lbs. No wonder it stripped at 90+ inch lbs.
Great information you are correct and I have not had a problem at 50 inch lbs but I hear 90 will strip the block.😂 the block manifold is really oily so I think that is what saved me 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Very great video quality! Would you care to share the dimensions of the valve manifold and the valves? I think I can only fit 2 in the space I need but the website doesn't share that kind of information. Thanks!
Hey there I got the measurements😁👍If you are looking at the tractor from the rear like in the thumbnail the summit valve manifold is 8” 1/2 inches Tall 9” 1/2 inches Deep 6” inches Wide from the mounting bracket.Hope that helps😁
Thanks for the great videos! And I appreciate your humor lol. I was wondering what that 90 was... I'm looking to put together my own kit because I am pretty sure I want manual levers for top and tilt, maybe with float... I will be using my B2601 commercially and need to be able to feather well (based on your other replies it sounds like the buttons can be a pain, and I've hard that other places as well), but also think the 3rd function makes sense to be electric with buttons on the loader stick. So I see the one adapter number for the banjo fitting, thanks again for that. But wondering the 90 that I believe you mentioned came with the kit - is that 8 (1/2) O Ring Boss then to the 6 (3/8) JIC? Thanks!
Yes you are correct #8 ORB to #6 JIC was the fitting that I used to connect to the power beyond. Thanks for the detailed comment and Kind words. 😁👍🚜💨☀️
I just installed one of these on my L4701. There is a manual, you should have gotten a link to download it with your order confirmation email. It's dated 2021, so it should have been available when you made this video. The torque spec for the solenoids is 2 ft-lb or 24 in-lb. The straps that hold the valve block to the ROPS are now a single plate, and the bracket for the control box is two pieces so the length can be adjusted. It also comes with the bolts, nuts, and washers to clamp the valve block to the ROPS. Overall, I think the instructions are still a little lacking. My biggest complaint is the part numbers are all Brennan part numbers, but the numbers stamped on the parts are the Chinese manufacturer's number. There's no cross reference, and it took me 20 minutes of sorting and comparing to discover I was missing a pair of the male-to-male couplers for the valve block to quick disconnect fittings. Lastly, the fully built 4 spool valve block weighs 36 pounds!
This is all great information. Hope it works for you. I am happy so far with it and if I get a bigger tractor it is coming with me. Have a great day 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Appreciate your doing the time lapse. For me, laborious details become monotonous & boring. Thank you for your patience and positive perspective and sharing your experience. Praying for your strength, health, safety, wisdom and success. ☝️🙏💪🎯
This is a very well made how to! I'm picking my B2601 up in a day or two, and I will be doing something similar. May I ask why you chose so many rear remotes? I will probably go with 2 in order to accommodate a "top and tilt" kit. And thank you for your time making this, it will be very helpful. You have a new subscriber!!
Thank you for subscribing 😁👍 I went with 4 because One is for the front 3rd function and the two for top and tilt and the last is for rear log grapple. Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Holy moly, Mitch, what a job that was. Excellent video. I would never have tried to make a video of that process, but good on ya for getting it done. Did you have to do anything special to get the air out of the hydraulic hoses? How long did it take you to do that install? You are a super star! Cheers!
Thanks Mike 👍 It was a little overwhelming at first but ones I got started it all came together. To get the air out of the system I just cycled it back and forth a few times. It took two 5 hour days so 10 hours to film it and install. But took three 8 hour days to edit.😂Thanks for leaving a comment and have a great week😁👍🚜💨☀️
I did get the directions with mine, and the only thing I can say you missed is that the directions want us dipping the fittings (threads and o-rings) in hydraulic fluid before mounting.
sorry if I missed it in the video but what did you do for the return to tank? Did the include a way to T that in? You showed hooking pressure In from the Power Beyond port and back out to the 3pt hitch. there should have been another line running back to tank. Did I just miss it in the video?
That part was under the seat frame in the video and used the Banjo fitting to tie in to the top of the transmission case.😁Thanks for checking out the video👍
@@MJADoingStuff Your video was great! Thanks for posting it to help those of us thinking of adding hydrauilcs. I now see why I was confused. Summit's electric valve kit like you used feeds the 3 pt In (pressure) port with the T port from the Summit valve. That goes against everything I've read about Power Beyond. In fact Summit's manual (lever) valves have 2 out ports. A PB port (which would go to where you ran the T line to the banjo port under the seat) and a separate T port for returning back to tank (which I believe typically get's tee'd into the loader valve's tank return line - which is a rubber hose on the Kubota loader valve for my B3200 and I believe yours as well). This type of setup for Power Beyond valves seems typical so I have just emailed Summit to ask why they feel its ok to neglect the PB port on their electric valve setup vs the lever valves. I'm leaning toward the lever type to have fine feathering control vs either fully on or off by electric switch.
I have a B2601 and looking to add a third function and rear remotes. This is VERY helpful and I'm sure I will have my laptop in my garage so I can follow along. Do you have a parts list for the fittings you had to purchase? Also on the Summit site I noticed the 'universal' 4 spool kit. Did you work with them directly to get the PB kit and Third Function parts added to it?
I ended up only needing that banjo fitting in the video and on Summit website look up rear remote kit plus third function add on kit for a 1025r. They sell it all together or separate and don’t forget to use TTWT to get 5%off at check out. Let me know if you have any other questions 🥸👍🚜💨💡
You did a great job with this video! I'm getting ready to purchase this kit but I'm wondering why someone would go with the 4 rear remotes as opposed to 3 (3rd function front, top link, open for something else). Whats the decision to go with 4 as opposed to 3? Just bc it's 'only' $200 more? Any insight would be great!
Thanks 😁👍 well in my case I wanted top and tilt plus one for my 3 point log grapple and front 3rd function. The extra one in the rear can also be used for flail mower with boom or a stump grinder with cylinder controls the option is for future implement. If you are going to install it anyway you might as well get 4 at least.😁👍🚜💨🍳
Ha😂 I have never used locktite blue on fittings😂 these have a O ring seal and flares that seal up fine with out. I still have no leaks yet. Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Hey Mitch - Just found your channel. Good stuff. Question: where on the green planet did you get your wheel/tire lift. i have two tractors and have searched the planet for one of those jewels.
Morning I purchased it from harbor freight😁 it is just a wheel dolly to move cars but it works on tractors too. Measure how wide your tire is before you purchase just to be sure it will work. Thanks for checking out the video😁👍🚜💨🍳
Hello Just a Quick Question? I have a Backhoe and I have already RAN the Power Beyond Hydraulic Hose Circuit with Quick Disconnects to a Bracket at the rear behind the seat that feeds the Backhoes control valves. If I already have those Quick Disconnects back there do You think they can need the Rear Remotes without doing any plumbing under the Seat? Ken in Florida.
Yep should be no problem just make sure the P port on the Summit Manifold is connected to the Power Beyond and the T port is connected to the Tank. Hope that helps. I know that there are 3 connections to the back hoe on some tractors so go under and check the plumbing to be sure. It is usually connected between the two hoses that are plugged into each other when the back hoe is off of the tractor. Have a great week😁👍🚜💨
Excellent video. I love your attention to detail and taking the time to explain why you do it that way. What is the Summit kit number that you ordered for the B2601. When you ordered your kit were the front hoses for the 3rd function valve to the loader cross member included as a part of the kit?
Thanks 👍Summit Didn’t have a part number for the kit but it is under rear remote kit plus 3rd function for a 1025r I just made it work for the B2601. And yes the cross member hose clamp style hose mount was in the kit. Hope that helps 😁👍🚜💨🍳
So all you needed were the 2 extra fittings you showed to make it work? Do you have part numbers or descriptions for those fittings? Thank you for the very quick response 👍
@@danielrapoza8468 Hey there Daniel the fitting you need is one 3059-06-06 banjo fitting I end up not using the other fitting. Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Hey there 😁 when you go to summit’s website look up rear remote kit then scroll though and find the one for the 1025r plus 3rd function add on kit. Let me know if that helps😁👍🚜💨🍳
I like them a lot works good on grass mud, snow, and pretty smooth on pavement I am thinking about doing a R14 on snow video. It seems to have more traction after lowering the rear tires down to 10 psi plus the ride got softer on the bumps in the yard. Happy New Year!!! 😁👍🚜💨🎆🥂🕺
Is this a better option than going with the factory rear remote kit. My dealer quoted me 1500. But that would only give me 1 remote. I have a 3rd function valve currently and looking to add on 2 remotes. Top link and rear blade angle adjustment which I need to be able to adjust easily for plowing. Any help would be appreciated
I had the same thoughts going through my head. I decided to go with Summit for a few reasons. I could get more remotes for my money 💰 and because I could install it myself I could save on installation. Another reason is I needed a true 3 function up front not a diverter valve. I chose the 4 rear remotes so I could run one up front and 3 in the rear for top and tilt plus one for accessories like for a power angle blade,my rear grapple, hydraulic winch the options are endless🤪. One thing to know is it is electric over hydraulic system so you don’t have full control like your loader stick. It is full pressure all the time. You learn to tap the switch instead of holding it down for small movements. Hope this helps. 😁👍🚜💨🍳
One question: What is the brand/model of the wheel dolly you used to handle the rear tire of your tractor? I have a Kubota L3560, my rear wheels are larger than the 2601. Do you know if that wheel dolly will handle my tires (46" outside diameter, 15" tread width, good year 420/70-24 tires)?
It is a harbor freight special 😂 I bought it many years ago. I would take your tape measure and go down and see what will work for your tires. Hope that helps. Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
I have one going to the front as a 3 function and the other 3 are for the rear so top, tilt and skidding grapple or hydraulic winch or future projects. Plus you get more bang for the buck 😂👍🚜💨🍳
Ive already got the third function valve for the front. Not sure i need four just for the rear, but I hear what you are saying about bang for the buck!
Great, very informative tutorial video. I am getting ready to install a Summit Kit on my LX2610 cab tractor. What is that tire carrier you used to move the rear wheel?
Morning that tire thing is called a wheel Dolly and you can buy them at Harbor freight and if you want I did make a video on it have a good weekend😁👍🚜💨🍳
@@MJADoingStuff Thank you. Bought one. What was the size of the 90degree fitting you put on the side of the transmission/pump. I tried a 1/2" SAE#8 and it's too small on my LX2610.
Thanks for the instructions: "I can't believe they don't have instructions" Sure they do-just go to: "MJA doing stuff..Summit Hydraulic's 4 rear remote step by step install on a Kubota B2601 with 3rd function add on kit" on youtube !!!! 😁🤣🤠🤞
Hey Mitch, one more question. regarding the wiring diagram, did the relay you used came with the hydraulic kit or did you have to buy that separately, if so, did you get that on Amazon? TIA Dan, ... BTW I feel a lot more comfortable regarding the hydraulic's installation now that I saw your video :-)
I was going to ask the same question. I hope harbor freight still carries the wheel dolly. I don’t have a kubota, but I’ve been thinking about doing something similar on my tractor. Great video.
Hello Gerry😁 I got it at harbor freight years ago. I would go there with your tape measure and check if it will work out for your wheels 🛞 thanks for checking out the video😁👍🚜💨🍳
On mine, when flipping the solenoids around so the cables come out in the center, I found that the there are two sized o-rings (on the solenoid) and my plastic dust cap will not go back on the thick o-ring. Not thrilled that such a simple operation doesn't work for me. The plastic caps are only engaging with a partial thread.
Thanks that’s good to know I could not find the instructions. Well I am about double that so I should be good😂no leaks so far. I like the kit how do you like yours?😁👍🚜💨🍳
I just want 2 hoses installed to run a BackHoe, don't need an $1100 kit cause I'll just connect the hoses together when the backHoe's disconnected. So is that Banjo fitting 1/2" BSPP x 3/8" JIS? Can't find it..

Because I misplace everything, took some bar stock, welded on a couple of 3/4 pins, added two square u bolts and bolted the mount to my rops so I would not loose the old top link and have it in the field if it needed to be used. Love this stuff!
@@p5makersplace That is a great idea 💡 I misplace stuff a lot too thanks for the tip.😁👍
Great job! This video is really helpful. This video is the essence of why I am a UA-cam addict. It has been empowering and has not steered me wrong yet.
Thank you for the kind words and thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
I’m only 20 minutes into this video and I had to STOP and just say this is the best tutorial that I have ever watched. Wow
Thanks I appreciate that 😁 I tried not waste to much time talking about it. There was so much to do so I cut it down to a minimum. Hope it helps you out thanks for checking it out 🚜💨🍳
you get an "A" grade on this project Mitch. Very well done.
Full watch and a thumbs up Mitch. I would give you 2 but you tube won't let me.
Thanks Gary 👍 This was the toughest video yet😁 it took forever to edit. Thanks for watching the whole video. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍻
Start to finish...A++
Not to mention....you now have tractor SUPERPOWERS!!!
Thank you Chris for your awesome comment👍 I worked really hard on this one. I hope you are right. Now I have more options for Super attachments too!😁👍🚜💨🍻
This is the best tutorial that I have seen on how to install the remotes. Later
Thanks Mech!👍coming from you that means a lot. Thanks for checking out the video. “As always it’s free” love it when you say that 😁👍🚜💨🍻
Mitch, wowwwwww.... this is THEE BEST rear remote video install on youtube...PERIOD!

You are on your game! Install quality and documentation of the process. Great work!
Thanks Lucas👍This was crazy long to Video and Edit. Thanks for the support😁👍🚜💨😵💫
I'm saving this watch for later tonight. I need to go buy some popcorn.
Sweet! Might won’t to get a big bucket of popcorn 🍿 😁👍🚜💨🍻
Thank you!

Thanks Joseph 👍 it made it more interesting to do it without instructions that’s for sure. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍿
BUT... I would use the windshield washer fluid that helps remove the bug guts. haha
Thanks Logan 👍 coming up in My next video. How to mount a flat screen 📺 on a tractor 🚜 🤪👍thanks for checking out the video 😂👍🚜💨📺

@@MJADoingStuff You are doing great!

Maybe they already were, but I would lubricate those o-rings before installing. Good video.

Excelent video and clear audio. One thing that I noticed you didnt install presure reducer valve to protect your cylinders from over preserizing them. Or they are protected somwhere up front in the circuit.
Yes you are correct the power beyond circuit uses the pressure relief on the tractor before the manifold. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Thanks for sharing the torque specs. It was pretty straightforward and I am still happy with the system. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Awesome job on the video! I believe the install will be very similar on the 2401. This will give me the confidence I need to tackle this on my own.
Thanks 👍 it seems like a lot at first but if you take your time you should be fine😁👍🚜💨🍳
How did you make out on the 2401?
@@smoothdurban I ended up getting the 2601 and had the dealership add the 3rd function up front. I have not added the remotes on the rear yet.
I have an answer for you but I need you to message me through Facebook messenger or a detailed answer. Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Waoo Congratulations you do well, nice and clear you are pro
Thank you 👍 This one took a long time to do and edit😁thanks for checking out the video😁👍🚜💨💡
Very good video. Thanks! Had to subscribe. Looking forward to more of your doing stuff!
Thanks 😁 and thanks for subscribing. Have great weekend 🚜💨🍳
Not sure if you did, but it's typically a good idea to lubricate the o rings before you insert them into their groove etc. I think those 10-24 cap screws depending on the grade rating should only be torqued to about 25-30 inch lbs. No wonder it stripped at 90+ inch lbs.
Great information you are correct and I have not had a problem at 50 inch lbs but I hear 90 will strip the block.😂 the block manifold is really oily so I think that is what saved me 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Do you have a link to the kit you are using . I got a b2601 that needs the same kit.
I added it to the video description. Thanks for the idea to put it in there😁👍🚜💨🍳

Thanks😁 I am very pleased with the setup so far. Thanks for checking out the video 👍🚜💨🍳
Very great video quality!
Would you care to share the dimensions of the valve manifold and the valves? I think I can only fit 2 in the space I need but the website doesn't share that kind of information. Thanks!
Yep I can do it this evening 😁👍
Hey just got home from work the yard is muddy and dark. So I will try to get out there tomorrow. Hopefully I will get home earlier.😁👍
Hey there I got the measurements😁👍If you are looking at the tractor from the rear like in the thumbnail the summit valve manifold is 8” 1/2 inches Tall 9” 1/2 inches Deep 6” inches Wide from the mounting bracket.Hope that helps😁
@@MJADoingStuff Thanks! I really thought it looked bigger than that.
Thanks 😁 I tried my best to make it interesting and informative. This one took a lot of editing. Have a great weekend 😁👍🚜💨🍳

That is good to know for the next person hopefully they see this comment😁👍🚜💨🍳
sorry if I missed it in the video but what did you do for the return to tank?
@@billeneix6884 Hello. Did you end up ordering your hydraulic rear remotes from Summit? If so did you get the electric kit or their manual lever kit?

@@MJADoingStuff Awesome. Thanks!
What was the Summit part number? All the rear remote kits I see on their web sight list only John Deere tractors.
I got the 4 rear remote kit plus 3rd function for the 1025R

Hello
Just a Quick Question?

I like them a lot works good on grass mud, snow, and pretty smooth on pavement I am thinking about doing a R14 on snow video. It seems to have more traction after lowering the rear tires down to 10 psi plus the ride got softer on the bumps in the yard. Happy New Year!!! 😁👍🚜💨🎆🥂🕺
@@MJADoingStuff thanks! You as well!
Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
put hydraulic fluid on manifold and rubber o-rings doing it dry will rip rubber.
Yep good tip😁👍Thanks for watching 🚜💨☀️
Im about to order one of these. I was going to order the 2 valve systems. What are you running that you need four switches?
@@billskeen68 It was a #8 ORB on the power beyond side to #6 JIC on the hose side hope that helps 😁👍🚜💨🍳
I am thinking you may need to get a #10 ORB if the #8 is to small 🤔
Wish you could’ve showed us how this switch works in action
If you want you could watch my other videos on the subject. I felt like the video was long enough. Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Thanks for the instructions: "I can't believe they don't have instructions" Sure they do-just go to: "MJA doing stuff..Summit Hydraulic's 4 rear remote step by step install on a Kubota B2601 with 3rd function add on kit" on youtube !!!! 😁🤣🤠🤞
Your Welcome Anytime😁👍 It is ok I would not have used the instructions anyway😂 thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨💡
I could not tell if there is an on/off button so when not in use hitting buttons on new knob do not interfere with loader operation.
There is no on/off button but I am sure you could add one. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Morning I had it from another project but it is just a 12v 30amp relay I am glad the video is helpful😁👍🚜💨💡
@@MJADoingStuff Morning Mitch, thanks for the info. I will order one separately then, thanks again for your help! Dan
Where did you get your tire jack? That looks handy.
I got the wheel dolly at harbor freight 😁👍🚜💨😁
I was going to ask the same question. I hope harbor freight still carries the wheel dolly. I don’t have a kubota, but I’ve been thinking about doing something similar on my tractor. Great video.
Where did you get the wheel dolly? What brand and size?
Hello Gerry😁 I got it at harbor freight years ago. I would go there with your tape measure and check if it will work out for your wheels 🛞 thanks for checking out the video😁👍🚜💨🍳
Check Outback Wrap for the hosees
Thanks I appreciate you pointing me in that direction I was just thinking 🤔 I should protect the hoses. Happy New Year!!!
Where do I buy that’s at
Summit Hydraulics website and when you get to the site look 👀 up rear remotes. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨💡
That is interesting is it possible to switch out the O-rings I think I remember mine being similar?😁
I watched ttwt and if you don't switch the o rings positions the caps fit fine.
Hi, on my kit the torque for valve to manifold is 2 ftlb or 24 inlb
Thanks that’s good to know I could not find the instructions. Well I am about double that so I should be good😂no leaks so far. I like the kit how do you like yours?😁👍🚜💨🍳
@@MJADoingStuff I will let you know, just received this AM. 🙂 Lots of parts!
It is fabulous! Thanks for doing the video as well
@@billell.8185 Your Welcome 😁👍🚜💨🍳
I just want 2 hoses installed to run a BackHoe, don't need an $1100 kit cause I'll just connect the hoses together when the backHoe's disconnected. So is that Banjo fitting 1/2" BSPP x 3/8" JIS? Can't find it..
I ordered the two fittings from WR long and can’t seem to find the receipt sorry I couldn’t help you. Maybe you can call them and find out. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨☀️
@@MJADoingStuff Thnx so much for the reply! Do you know the name of that fitting tho? I thought it might be - 1/2" BSPP x 3/8 JIS? But I can't find that one. I just need to know what to call it in order to order it..
@@neallyons9515 The fitting is ADPT 3059-6-6 you will be reusing the bolt fitting from the tractor. This is just the part number for the banjo fitting on top of the tractor. Hope that helps. 😁👍🚜💨☀️
@@MJADoingStuff thnx so much I found it now!
They sent me some instructions, but here I am watching this because they aren’t very clear.
Hopefully between the video and paper instructions you get it done with no headaches😁thanks for checking out the video good luck!!!😁👍🚜💨🍳
lube orings?
Good advice 😁👍
12 mins in the torque is 2 ft-lbs (per instructions) which is 24 in-lbs
Thanks for the info 😁 instructions would have been nice. 😂👍🚜💨🍳
What kit did you end up buying?
I went with the electric rear remote valve kit with front Third function for 1025R,1026R Tractor
There is no part # for the Kit just go to summit hydraulics website and put rear remote in the search bar
11:10 the instructions call for 2 ft lbs. (24-inch lbs.) for these screws.
Thanks for the info 😁Glad someone has the instructions 😂 Have a good one 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Summit rear installation on Kubota B2601
Thanks 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Sorry. Accidentally hit the wrong key when trying to share the link with my e-mail. I will say you did an excellent job walking viewers through the install. I am getting ready to install Summit Hydraulics dual remotes on my LS MT125 and your video helped fill in some of the gaps in TTWT videos as well as some additional tips that will be most helpful. Thank-you for such a detailed, organized, and well thought out walk-through of the install!
@@markrushfeldt2230 Thanks for the kind words I appreciate it.This was tough to edit but I am glad I took the time to do it. Hope your installation went well. Have a great week 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Pointing with your middle finger is distracting
It is a bad habit 😂 I don’t know why I do that. Maybe I was a bird 🦅 in my past life!🤣 thanks for checking out the video 😁👍🚜💨🍳
Bought a kit. Broken parts...Horrible Customer Service!! No replacements. Waste of time and money. Stay Away!!!
Completely opposite of my experience. I was missing a couple parts, they put them in the mail the next day. Also offered a couple of suggestions to improve the manual, which they appeared to indicate they liked. All the parts were well made and well packed. Would buy again.
@@JCWren The other comment was from the Kubota management. ;)
