As a woman, I would like men to understand that women need more great communication from their men. There is nothing that good communication cannot fix. Also, put your wife/partner first, that is, ahead of your friends, football, work (if possible). Feeling that you are way down on the list of priorities in your man's life is definitely not a turn-on. To enjoy good sex, you must be well-bonded. Go on long country drives, picnics, the beach or just watch movies that you both like. Men, you can't expect great sex if you put your partner last and don't actively communicate daily with her. That's my input, for what it is worth.

No one is born with knoledge. I think it's expected a women will tell her long term partner what she likes and how to get there. If you did ask him and he refused, then that's a different situation but it's easy to vent your frustrations on someone else if you didn't put any effort to turn things around.

There is actually a reason for that. As a guy, an orgasm is exhausting (it's a release, that why men aren't multi-orgasmic) and you wanna sleep after one. Also men experience a mix of deep satisfaction and a bit of depression after sex. It's called "post-coital tristesse" (tristesse means sadness in French). It feels like having the blues. It's an emotional issue and men generally deal with emotional problems by withdrawing.
