Felt like I was lost in a candy store! Incredibly fantastic, magnificent vehicles - got to agree on Escalade being #1; actually rode in one recently and what a memorable event that was! Owner said it took him quite a while to feel comfortable driving since the thing is so massive… really fun review; I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks!
Mason is driving ... wait, whaaatt!?? 😁 Great video! I'm struck by the GLS. It's such a great implantation of MBUX screen, a luxury vehicle with nice tech. As opposed to the new EQS which is an unbelievable amount of screen and, oh yeah, there's also a car there too.
I’ve driven almost all of these and you guys are 100% on the money. If you want a usable 3rd row, the Escalade ESV is clearly the best. The Escalade also feels as good GLS or X7 but with a real 3rd row. And the Escalade and G class turn heads and are exciting to drive. GLS is perfect but too small and boring to look at.
@@91326 hey Tommy so how is the car holding up after a year? Any advice for someone ordering a new one? What options you love, what are useless, what are a must? Thanks brother.
Love the Navigator. And I agree that the Escalade is the benchmark for luxury SUVs. Can’t wait for the next gen Lexus LX because that’s the oldest model on here.
Awesome rankings! The Escalade is definitely the one with biggest change in design and tech. Sadly the Escalade and Cadillac 'brand' carries a bit of that bling pretension thing. It definitely deserves your highest ranking anyway!!!
Hello gentlemen. Good ranking comparison video for the full size luxury SUVs. One full size SUV that was missing from this list which would've made the listing top 10 is the Infiniti QX80. As for the top 10 I would list it as number 7 or 8. It's tight one between the Jeep Grand Wagoneer and the Cadillac Escalade. The Escalade has more speakers for the premium audio system with 36 speakers while the Jeep Grand Wagoneer has 23 speakers. The overall sound quality could be determined by brand. The Escalade uses AKG and the Grand Wagoneer uses McIntosh. Another advantage for the Escalade is the Super Cruise hands free driving. Jeep doesn't have a system like that, but they're currently working on it. Will be available next year to match up well with Cadillac's Super Cruise or to be a little more advanced. The advantages for the Jeep Grand Wagoneer is the more powerful engine, more screen real estate, more passenger space in the 2nd/3rd rows, power reclining 3rd row seats, more space behind the third row while seats are in place, more cargo space when all seats are folded down and better towing capacity at 9,850 pounds.
The Lexus is the only vehicle reviewed that is dependable and reliable, all others will be in the repair shop with regularity or leave you stranded on the highway, as my neighbors new LandRover has done on 3 occasions thus far. Lease the German Brands, unless you own a bank and can afford crazy repair costs, when off warranty. The BMW turbo engines run so hot, that they actual warp the heads, with the 8 cylinder durability actually poorer than the 6 because of this issue. Lucky to get 80-100K miles on the BMW 8 cylinder engine, whereas the Lexus, 350K miles + regularly. The Navigator interior is lovely, but ride quality terrible, feels like an F-150 bouncing passengers and drivers all over the cabin. THE GMC has problems and recall after recall, and build quality simply can not compare to the Lexus or G-wagon, a world of difference is quality of parts and construction.
The Jeep is the best of both worlds. When the going gets tough the jeep will get your over water, mud, rock and then home in comfort. I’m looking to order the Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve
While I agree the Escalade and Grand wagoner are impressive they are truck base and when it comes to ride quality( major category when it comes to luxury, something I think you didn’t consider to much) they don’t come close to the germans. You can easily speck any of them to be more luxurious.
So are you guys going to review the 2022 refreshed Navi since it’s supposed to get the new tech with the Sync 4 system and true hands free driving? Cause rn I’m going in between that and the Grand Wagoneer and the Escalade is not on my list bc extreme reliability issues and when I test drove it I thought the seats were horrible (especially the second and third row) and they were simply relying too much on the screen and SuperCruise in my opinion for sales and it also has too much Suburban in it.
Even though I am a Lexus guy, my favorite one is the Lincoln Navigator. I think it juts looks the best but interior wise, you gotta give it to Cadillac with the Escalade
@@CarConfections Ha. Only in the US is an XC90 "mid size" ! In any major European city (and Manhattan), you'd struggle to park anything as big as a XC90 in most places.
You guys must be nuts. Any current Land Rover product that is on your best list is crazy. They are on the bottom of least reliable automobile consistently since 1989. If your best list means in the shop more than you drive them, ok.
What about the engines…what are the size engines…makes no sense to build a big beautiful SUV without the POWER to move the things. It’s what I hated about the GMCs an downsizing the engines while making the thing bigger…just plan stupid.
Love the channel but this list is so innacurate. The Range Rover doesn't even have a 3rd row and you'll spend more time in a loaner because of how often it'll be in the shop, the G-Wagon is a beast but more of a niche SUV, and the Lexus is a dinosaur. Great video though.. 1. Cadillac Escalade 2. Lincoln Navigator 3. Infiniti QX80 4. BMW X7M 5. Merc GLS63 6. GMC Yukon Denali 7. Jeep Grand Wagoneer

I would rank:
1) X7
2) GLS
3) Escalade
4) Navigator
5) LX
6) QX80
Range Rover
X7
GLS
Escalade
Navigator
LX
I love all of them! I would pick the Mercedes GLS or G wagon
you made the greatest choice ever
The Navigator definitely deserves top 4 status, despite the dated tech, it does everything else right!
Luxury SUVs have to have the latest tech in this era. Otherwise it's not luxury. It was definitely in the top about 5-6 yrs ago
except ride quality, which is poor, perhaps the worse of any large luxury SUV.
I’ve driven almost all of these and you guys are 100% on the money. If you want a usable 3rd row, the Escalade ESV is clearly the best. The Escalade also feels as good GLS or X7 but with a real 3rd row.

Escalade has horrific road/wind noise for the price. Kind of a turn off

Nice video on the top 9 suv’s
As far as large suvs go, the escalade is the one to beat
Very Hard to beat!
The only weakness for the 2021 Escalade is the power
So true it has a top speed of 130 mph and the Lincoln Navigator has a top speed of 150mph
@@JoseChavez-kq2cz top speed means nothing in a large suv like that. majority of them are limited due to their aerodynamics and braking performance

Awesome video!😸
As good as the other choices in this list are, the new Escalade might be my favorite as well, it is just stunning
For me I’d either choose the X7 Escalade GLS or grand Cherokee
Agreed but Mercedes still the one I would choose
My next Mercedes will be the Mercedes GLS. A true luxury beast. Also, the best or nothing!
The Jeep is the best of both worlds. When the going gets tough the jeep will get your over water, mud, rock and then home in comfort. I’m looking to order the Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve
I was searching and this came up
I wish Audi Q7(if big enough)was in these line-up. Always appreciated for honest review.
They need a Q9
I had a Q7 it was good but it had a lot of weird things going on but over it was great

The Range Rover is my favorite. Followed by X7 and Navigator. The Escalade is great as well. This segment includes some amazing products.
The GLS is by far the best large SUV on the market right now
I wish the Lincoln used less Land Rover / Jaguar influence. The 97 - 06 Models were the best looking.

For sure! Whenever it comes out 👍
It's a shame the new Escalade majic didn't transfer to any other Cadillac product. The XT6 and new sedans are real duds design wise.
Even though I am a Lexus guy, my favorite one is the Lincoln Navigator. I think it juts looks the best but interior wise, you gotta give it to Cadillac with the Escalade
True the Escalade really wins this
Why din’t you include Volvo XC90
Not quite big enough... But that's one of our favorite in the smaller midsize category!

Yukon 3.0!!!

2) Escalade
3) Range Rover
Just my personal opinion 🙃
Good night 💤
every time I watch a ranked video on cars i see more than one(1) mercedes-benz on the list, the best or nothing
You should’ve put the Tesla Model X in
I go with the GLS 580.
i didn't see GLS 63 AMG🤷🏾♂️

Good list, except you're showing a concept Jeep that you haven't driven.
You forgot GV80 and XC90
those are midsized
^^^ both gv80 and xc90 are closer in size to gle or x5 rather than the gls or x7
Oh my bad 👍🏽
