After the recent chapters of one piece concluding the Zoro vs Lucci fight finally, I can talk about Lucci's scaling indepthly and see where he stacks up against another opponent Zoro has fought, that being King. Both of these guys not only are crazy durable but they’re complete opposite when it comes to their reputation within the community. Lucci is looked at as a fodder loser while King is respected and people even glaze at him and say he’s the Zoro to Kaido’s Luffy. Today I’ll be addressing all of the scaling in depth since my Lucci Katakuri video was not only made before Luffy vs Kizaru even came out, but clearly you guys were not satisfied given the comments I got on that video. Anyway let's see which Zoro opponent is harder, what? Regardless of your answer, King vs Lucci is definitely a topic and I feel like you can make a case for King's durability overwhelming Lucci. However, it’s more than likely Lucci would be able to survive anything King has to offer, even including his final attack. If we believe Zoro actually tried in that clash with Lucci then there's no reason for me to believe Lucci can’t withstand King's attacks for a long period of time. Not only do I believe Lucci can endure whatever King throws at him, but King's flame off speed wouldn't be faster than his full powered attack. Originally, he was introduced as part of CP9, reputed as the assassin unit's strongest member in history. Operating undercover to obtain the Pluton blueprints from Iceburg, he worked as a sawyer, treenail, and bolt specialist for the Galley-La Company's Dock 1 in Water 7. After his defeat by Monkey D. Luffy at Enies Lobby, Lucci was dismissed from CP9 by Spandam, who declared him and the other assassins responsible for the Straw Hats' havoc on Enies Lobby. However, within the next two years, he managed to be reinstated into Cipher Pol as part of CP0, this time as Spandam's superior. Lucci is the main antagonist of the Water 7 Arc, one of the two main antagonists of the Enies Lobby Arc (along with Spandam), the secondary antagonist of the Water 7 Saga overall, and a major antagonist in the Egghead Arc (and briefly a reluctant ally). He is also one of the central characters from CP9's Independent Report Cover Page Serial, along with the rest of the CP9 agents. lucci has 0 feats to prove he could even damage king and they’re probably relative speed wise with king just having a wayyyy better kit. range, number of attacks, flight, proficient swordsman/ h2h combatant. its a close fight but i think 6-7/10 times king has it
there is only 2 moves Lucci has that can could potentially be a feat that is his hand pistol technique and Rokugon being an attack if I would describe it similar to fishman karate attacking the inner of the person like how it screwed up Luffy to the point of bleeding when no haki was present and that has infused haki otherwise 6/10 times King wins just think it's closer in combat

The BEST you can scale king is that hes stronger than dragon kaido(no acoc) and lucci being able to take hits from g5 luffy(no acoc) puts him on another level

1: Zoro used dragon twister on kaido and it cut kaido. He used the same attack on king and it did nothing to king. Which is why people believe that flames on king durability > dragon kaido. Also even though kaido was holding back, you can’t hold back your passive durability. That just doesn’t make sense.
2: jimbei did not hit lucci with that fish man karate attack, he threw it at the ground to create a smoke screen. If he wanted to take lucci out with an attack, he would have just let Zoro do the finishing blow. He says sorry because it’s disrespectful to interrupt in a fight when someone is giving their all.
Zoro's dragon twister scared a weaker version of kaido his strongest form is the hybrid form not dragon.
@@4tuneJohn the hybrid form just takes the best qualities from the zoan form and combines it with the practicalness of your human form. It’s just grabs the best aspects of everything about you and puts it in 1 form. I could find the chapter where they talk about hybrid forms.

-King has alot off resistance, so much so that he nuliffied some Zoro damaged without Acoc. He is pretty much tank 90% off OP attacks. Even if Zoro has Acoc
-King offensenvily is a very good, he almost killed, Zoro if he didn't used armement haki would have died by one off is attacks. Is flames without a technique did alot off damaged to Zoro (btw, wtf are you talking about ? Zoro was serious all off the figth, Badana on is head, he fougth with a time count, he need to surpass him to better, and used a had to use acoc to beat him. With techniques, he can transform is flame to lava and do even more damaged. Is fruit make him abble to damage Marco and Zoro and have alot of speed on is attacks, he has armor and observation haki.
-King has is pterodactyl form made him abble to be faster than Zoro. Without using is fruit, he has fast attack speed
-King has alot of endurance, he able to fougth Zoro, Marco, Sanji (a bit) without being tired.
-King techniques are excellent, is fruit make him able to have Aoe damage, fly in the air, do slash attack, and gain speed to do strong attacks, with flamme he can transform is flave to magma, make forms with it, do techniques with is swords with flames.
While Lucci
-Got One shot by a G5 Luffy who wasn't serious and used almost no haki ,while characters like, pre Big Mom figth Law and Kidd, Zoro Luffy base form and especially Yamato, did well against Yonkos (Zoro tanked a combine yonko attacked, injure Kaido, Law and Kid tanked many Big Moms attack and have very good offensive capabilities. Base Luffy did alot off damage to Kaido with acoc and ryo, tanked many off is attack, defended himself really well with observation haki, and is physical habilities. Break the sky in half with one acoc punch. Have excellent physical stats and is a combat genious. Yamato, one off Onigashima mvp's, stay at the rooftop and fougth Kaido, is endurance and resistance is ABSURD (tanked Kaido techniques, fougth him a long time) she has great offensive techniques, she was able to hit did some damage to Kaido, has armement/observation haki/conqueror haki. And this is off a characters who is far weaker than Kaido, and is either yc2 or between yc3 and yc2 level. Tell me, did Lucci did what all these guys did to Kaido, when Zoro need to go all out against King ? No he did not even did anything that those guys did. He got beat by a not serious Zoro (no bandana, no armement haki except in the end, and a some acoc in 1 sword)

Lucci can win, he has the AP to put King down, but I doubt he would last long enough. King can take more punishment for longer. Plus, we haven't seen Much of King's Hybrid form abilities, mostly Full Zoan or Base due to Zoro's skillset. By contrast, this is a bad match for Lucci, out of respect for Zoro, King decided to engage in swordplay, he doesn't have that obligation to Lucci, who's a brawler

I just finished the video... you literally forgot that King is a Lunarian. Dude has top tier durability feats and his flames off has the speed to keep up. Plus, dude has fire powers that will neutralize whatever advantages Lucci has short-range. Lucci has little chance even vs Katakuri, who can foresee his attacks and trap him in Mochi.

Some people only use the term powercliff when it comes to Katakuri but others characters they don't, i'm noticing something
Durability is essentially how much damage it takes to damage you, endurance is how much damage you can take/how you’re affected by it, so if character A can harm character B but not character C, character C has better durability, if character D takes 10 hits to beat character B but only 3 for character C character B has better endurance. If you couldn’t tell this was Zoro damaging Kaido but not being able to damage king, while Kaido took far more attacks from zoro than king.

Lucci might be one of the most durable characters in One Piece not gonna lie. The only reason he’s gotten out of the equation is because Luffy is literally a Sun/Star, and Jimbei blasting him away. If Lucci had a mythical or even an ancient zoan instead of a regular one, he could've been stronger or atleast be same strength as Zoro
Ever since his return, I always see Lucci being around Dressrosa Luffy's power. Only with better stamina due to his awakening. So, dude should be able to go toe-to-toe vs Doflamingo at full power. I think Lucci will struggle the most with characters that possesses ACoA, ACoO like Katakuri OR King/Sanji that has a unique physicality.

1st: what does having to fight 4 people have to deal with durability? That makes no sense.
2nd: Kaido got scratched in dragon form by Zoro dragon twister. And then later on got cut by zoro strongest attack. Meanwhile, King let Zoro land a clean sword attack twice, and it didn't even cut his clothing.
Flames on King has better durability than Kaido. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what durability means.

Lucci has 1 attack that could damage King in flame off mode, and he has to be point blank for it. King has hella moves that can damage Lucci. It comes down to a battle of attrition and King is going to win simply because his moves will actually do damage where as Lucci route to doing damage is so situational.

Seraphim is not even close to kaidos durability, as someone who just recently watch all of wano arc in dubb / manga. Kaido is a f****** tank bro; literally we havent seen a character with as much durability as him, it took the worst generation, + like 2 alliances, luffy + zoro etc just to get kaido serious.
King is more durable then kaido him fighting multiple people doesn’t change his level of durability?

He can't. Zoro even stated that the Seraphim are slightly different from King, because their flames never seem to run out, which basically means that King most likely has to turn it off every once in a while. If that wasn't the case King could've just let Zoro throw everything at him and come out unscathed until Zoro pulled off another Ashura attack to get through his defense.

King on the other hand was taking no damage from the same zoro who literally just got done scarred kaido. And trying to argue that kaido was in a team battle is disingenuous. Things you got wrong
1. Zoro was full hp against king because of the drug btw
2. Kings durability is over kaido whether you like it or not, you gave no scaling to show otherwise.
3. King took 2 acoc attacks, lucci took one, got scarerd for life and basically couldnt fight anymore as said by jimbei. Lucci also visibly took no damage from jimbei air just pushed him back
4. Clashing doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the same speed, lucci couldn’t tag luffy the whole fight

Strength: this one is tough considering on which type of strength you are scaling, lucci is stronger than king in combat skill and capabilities. Whereas king is stronger than lucci in raw strength likely because of how massive he is, he makes oden look like a dwarf in size.
Haki: Lucci easily takes this spot on the list, he was able to clash with gear fives insane haki and made the clash end in a draw with both of them being ragdolled in the opposite direction, in my opinion, the ONLY reason why lucci lost to luffy was their overall devil fruits powers. Nika is a mythical zoan that is said to represent one of the four main elements, sun. Leopard is a regular zoan that should be dog water without lucci’s extreme training and ability to add extremely powerful moves like rokuogun to the mix. King was able to fight on par with zoro’s haki and was able to combine it with his flames to make an undoubtedly strong combo. But it just doesn’t scale up to lucci’s haki feats shown above.
Conclusion: it would be an exciting and tough fight but lucci’s insane haki and speed combined with techniques like rokuogun would eventually overcome king’s lunarian durability and devil fruit.
Though many people who favor king would argue that zoro used his bandana against king and not lucci, my counter argument is that zoro became stronger after his fight with king and zoro wasn’t even going hard on lucci which could also be said about lucci, and after the were clashing and fighting softly for a boring amount of time, Sanji made zoro snap unexpectedly so fast that he unleashed quick new strike that not even lucci was going to expect in their long boring fight,
TLDR while lucci and zoro were clashing very boringly and calmly zoro snapped after sanji made fun of him, making zoro use a very unexpected finishing blow.

Definitely not disingenuous to think that King's durability is comparable or greater than Kaido's. Kaido is/was still more powerful.
I disagree, there is not enough in lucci's favor when you consider what lucci is actually dishing out onto king, yes Lucci has noteworthy endurance, but besides that, King has the overwhelming stat advantage without a doubt. His defense is relative to kaido and even if you don't want to give him that, it's at least fair to say that his defense is better than the seraphim who shrugged off Lucci's attacks on them who were pretty much just fine after the fights with those in the labo stratum. None lucci's attacks that we've except the rokugun would probably even hirt king which would net him the win in the long run. On top of that, saying King doesn't scale to a full power zoro ignores several things, the big ones being the drug he took which did in fact completely or near completely heal zoro for a short period of time and disregarding how zoro fights as if he and many other characters get a significant drop in AP once they are tired. They usually don't, Examples? Law, Luffy, Kid, Zoro, Kaido, Doflamingo, Katakuri and several others. So not only does Lucci not have many skills techniques to even DAMAGE king in the first place, but there's no technique that can just outright one shot him either, on top of the Hellfire that king can rain down, on Lucci. Zoro was in fact still using his full power and it still took his best mode to beat king just not his very best technique, something that lucci has no way of replicating. King wins this.

Dope video man, I just have one gripe, when you discuss the glaze King gets, (which I agree he does) especially with his durability, you mention that Kaido fought 4 people at once and was holding back. I’m not sure how you can “hold back” durability. A boxer can hold back power and not KO someone but they can’t surpressed how much force it takes to knock them out.
Kaido went from getting combod by ryo gear 4 to no selling snake man acoc attacks. It’s very evident the non suppressed versions of kaido have different levels of dura. This is fiction not irl

Lucci vs King is actually close. Using Zoro to explain the power level of these 2 character just made this kind of unfair if you ask me. And just because Luffy gear 5 fought Lucci does not mean that Lucci is anywhere close to a Yonko Level, even Zoro confirmed it. In my opinion, It is similar to Kaido just sleeping while Luffy in his gear 4th pummeled him. Kaido fighting the 9 samurai but they are nowhere even close to Kaido.
Zoro had a hard time with King because of King's regeneration ability, the lunarian blood. Ultimately Zoro in the midst of combat learned how to control his conqueror Haki and won that fight.
Lucci does not have an ability that seemingly close to invincibility. Zoro kind of easily defeated Lucci actually. Lucci is just tenacious while King's ability can literally took a slash from Zoro and it does zero damage.
Stat wise, Lucci and King is a good match up.

Lucci is an awakened user which King is not, but both have the Zoan boost. the fight might be closer than you think and honestly I can see some cases where Lucci can beat King, but ya their strength aside, Lucci had rest before fighting Zoro while King did not, so that endurance kinda goes to King where King will slightly edge out Lucci but it doesn't mean King is guranteed to beat Lucci every time, Lucci's rokugun can be a very devestating technique that can mess up King and and possibly get the W as well.
