Before Blackbeard got his second fruit and was considered to be unstoppable he was already pretty powerful. He managed to straight up beat Ace, the same guy who’s able to clash with Aokiji and react to Akainu, meaning already in speed, he should at least be able to block and evade his attacks. After getting folded by Whitebeard he would get the last laugh and proceed to kill him. Then somehow obtained two devil fruits and not only just any kinda fruits, the two arguably strongest devil fruit powers a person could get. One is the one whitebeard used to blatantly overwhelm Akainu, and the other is a fruit that negates other fruit abilities. Now based on this yall are probably thinking okay this match isn’t close and Blackbeard surely should just beat him up after attaining both fruits right? Well not exactly. We see in Akainus fight with whitebeard not only does he fight a less weakened one, but somehow survives off guard attacks from an enraged Whitebeard. He was even confident enough to take on Crocodile Jozu and Marco + the other commanders, which is insane. We even see Van Augur after the war sensing Akainu hunting them down, and he believes that the best course of action is to run. However, the topic gets a lot more interesting when talking about the Egghead versions of these characters. You see, not only had Blackbeard had 2 years to master his devil fruits, but now he’s showing feats that are definitely yonko tier, like doing a lot better against Law than Big Mom.We also have the whole narrative of him being the strongest but I don’t believe we can say that just yet with what’s been shown and you’ll see why I don’t think this is the case. Whos arguably holding back on Garp at least to SOME degree, and as we know this Aokiji lost to Akainu after fighting for 10 days straight. And this makes sense as Akainu back in Marineford wasn’t trying to destroy the area but rather protect it, and he even had 2 whole years to improve. Now I played out their scales, but how can we compare them? Well we can actually use Aokiji as a comparison, because Blackbeard is arguably stronger than Aokiji like how Akainu is. The reason I say arguably is because Blackbeard is the captain and usually they’re the strongest, and it’s weird for Aokiji to submit to someone weaker than him even if he’s tryna betray him or whatever theory is out there to justify this. But the argument is there because.. Blackbeard was sweating? Even though his whole intention was for him to join. It’s weird to say because if you think Blackbeard is superior by a vague amount, then he and Akainu are probably going to fight for Days on end, and it’ll come down to hax. Which means Blackbeard would more than likely try to suppress Akainu's fruit to suppress the damage, and then hit him with quake punches that hit his internal organs, and just spam that until he barely wins the fight. But if “aokiji made Blackbeard swear” and “he’s a member of sword and joined on purpose” then Akainu just folds this man like how I said he does in pre timeskip. But I believe the first option to be more likely as Akainu mid diffing Blackbeard seems unreasonable especially with what the story has been setting up, but hey if you believe that to be the case then by all means go ahead and push your agenda. But I believe just barely, Fraudbeard manages to sneak a W against the most fraudulent Marine of today, Akainu. Well he’s not the strongest but it does make sense since he is in possession of two of the most powerful devil fruits. It’s mostly a head cannon that is a little overrated but can be valid.
Oda is gonna snap with Blackbeard’s next actual fight. His first fight Oda showed what he can do with just his darkness fruit. Then in the fight against Law, Oda intentionally only showed what Blackbeard was able to do now with the GuraGura now. So I think in the next fight with Blackbeard no matter who he fights Oda is going to show how dangerous he really is when Blackbeard uses both devil fruits in conjunction. And I also think Blackbeard’s next fight isn’t going to be his final fight with Luffy. So I’m thinking he’s gonna have at least 2 more fights in the series.
BB vs Shanks
He didn’t have the gura in his fight with ace which was before marineford. Now vs law he used the gura and right after used darkness but it off screened after that. The next will be top tier

It’s just a theory and headcanon, but I think the reason why BB might be one of the strongest EoS is because he might find some way to utilize the ancient weapons. He definitely is strong right now, but it’s not like he’s at the top of the verse yet

Blackbeard is "special" as Saturn said to Devon ... and like Augur answer to Saturn , Teach just want "the world". What ambition is stronger than that ?? ambition is what make Haki strong... We don't know yet how strong his haki is but he has 2 of the strongest DF that only should say something ... no one has ever done this feat in history , that's what Gorosei said. Blackbeard's portrayal is really unique and different compared to any other antagonist we have seen. Oda build up his character since Jaya soo more than 20 years.
Blackbeard without DF's given a permanent scar to a younger Shanks , who clashed with Mihawk at this time. ( probably around that time )

Only people I see as strong or sightly stronger currently are Dragon and maybe Mihawk. Dragon by ambition should be a monster as number 1 threat by the WG ... Ivankov even said before Marineford that Dragon is like WB , if he join the war they can win against the Marine. For Mihawk , everything in the story tell he has to be incredible strong as Zoro's dream n final step. Mihawk is at least top 3-4 of the strongest.

Bb never got folded wtf , actually even with a fresh new fruit and no mastery , Teach is able to clash with Sengoku in buddha form. He always tanking damages but never had anything serious even from WB's attacks. Garp never hit BB. Law did nothing and actually got low diff , one use of the darkness and its over.

One of the only videos recently I was about to finish from lack of heinously bad takes. I will say I think Akainu is above BBeard personally, I think he’s at his peak rn where BB is going to get another powerup of some kind before he faces Luffy and/or Shanks. That shapes my opinion that it’s fine to think Akainu and the other yonko are above him, plus the possibility of him only beating one of them through underhanded means.
Akainu isn’t getting caught lacking by Law like that, hard pressed to believe . Also I don’t think Blackbeard has a good enough answer for the long range Akainu can just opt to choose outside of his Black Vortex range and Lava Spam tf outta him. Even if he uses the Quake fist to counter, it’ll just cover the battlefield in lava which only BB will suffer from. Akainu could do the battlefield like he did Punk Hazard and BB gets cooked, remember he takes double damage and has no Logia intangibility. The absolute panic from BB when armament coat blocking SHawk told me enough - great he has good haki but to have to for a haki-less Shawk casual slash? Call me a hater, Akainu Mid-High diffs 🤷🏾♂️

Looking at how Akainu isn't too fazed even by Gear 5 Luffy deafing both Kaido and Borsalino I think Akainu is comfortably way, way above Blackbeard.
Just a quick reminder. The reason Big Mom and Kaido did make an alliance was because during their entire night fighting, no one was able to take the advantage.
They are comparable, you can cope howerver you want, giving baseless excuses like "they were not serious because they didn't have any injuries" (wich is dumb because the fact that they couldn't injure each other seriously was BECAUSE THEY HAD A SIMILAR POWER OVERALL, that was litteraly explained), their comparable strenght was the reason behind their alliance in the first place, if Kaido could low or mid diff Big Mom he would have done it on the rooftop...

Oda drew a line for power scalers at made it very clear at Wano and Egg head how it goes.. Yonko will slam against Admirals and Yonko commanders will lose to Admirals.. Ofc you need to count out Mihawk, Kuzan Prime Rayleigh and Zoro.. This fight would never be a 1v1 anyways so why to even speculate .. What will Akainu do even with couple Admirals against whole BB pirate crew. BB would make sure to have Kuzan with him in a fight against Akainu.
Goatkainu vs Goatbeard
Pre time skip is definitely a lot less close, at that point Blackbeard has 0 feats, statements or implications of having better than average haki (and even then it’s just observation) while Akainu had advanced armament and observation haki already, he got outsped by the weakest Whitebeard in the series while Akainu was packing a stronger Whitebeard up while holding back, Akainu also easily took multiple hits from Whitebeard even while off guard and characters like Marco and Vista couldn’t even hit him due to his future sight while Blackbeard was on the ground begging and screaming from one simple slash attack from Whitebeard’s spear thing (for reference Akainu blocked the same weapon from a stronger Whitebeard with 1 of his feet), Akainu has better haki, better durability, better speed, better AP (unless Blackbeard takes his abilities using the dark fruit and uses the gura fruit) and Akainu would most likely just one shot Blackbeard with a magma punch since the only reason it didn’t one shot Whitebeard was due to it being in non vital area’s, Blackbeard is far slower than Whitebeard so he wouldn’t be able to dodge it as well and he has worse durability and endurance so he’d just die from a weaker attack
Like Ty said, BB has the Gura-Gura fruit that can match the Magma fruit offensively. But Blackbeards ace is that he also has the Dark fruit that counters Devil Fruit users. He has had two years to master the two fruits as well. And from the narrative perspective Blackbeard is a 100% lock as Luffys final opponent(other than maybe Imu). Meanwhile Akainu has some other narrative matchups for people who will be weaker than Luffy at that point. Like Dragon and some think Sabo, which I disagree with. Blackbeards Haki is still a question, while Akainu's is a bit more explored. So for now it's Blackbeard extreme diff. But if Blackbeard has really great/better Haki than it's high diff.
gura is not on par with akainus df,weve seen characters get hit directly with the gura fruit and get back up,akainus direct attacks are 100% fatal,and the dark fruit doesn't really matter here since bb already ran from akainu when he had the ability to negate dfs
@@Bon-Kaizer The Gura fruit can definitely match the magma fruit, although Oda has confirmed that it has the most AP out of any DF. But they are relative enough that it isn't a huge disadvantage. Plus like I said he has the Dark fruit to limit Akainu's use of the magma fruit to at least some degree. And also Blackbeard ran, but that was two years ago and there was literally no reason for him to fight Akainu that we know off. Why fight when you need two. Akainu would be a tough fight anyway, so why risk it?

BB>luffy>>kizaru=akainu. and no the upgrade in his title means nothing bc bro has been inactive and not proggresing because of said title. Not to mention BB hard counters logias, its not close bro. Blackbeard can negate devil fruit powers which is 90 percent of Akainus kit and he also has amazing haki. I think Shanks rapes every admiral maybe even 1v2 but blackbeard scarred shanks before getting either devil fruit, Shanks whos mere presence made Greenbull shit himself Shanks who stopped the marineford war by himself because everyone there respected his power that much, even Blackbeard who said I'm not ready to fight you yet so blackbeard stomps any admiral 1v1 and maybe even beats some admirals 1v2 like Greenbull and Fujitora. I think Luffy will beat all the admirals eventually and Imu Blackbeard and Shanks will be his final battles maybe in that order with maybe Blackbeard before Imu idk Shanks has never feared Akaniu like he fears Blackbeard and he even blocked one of Akainu's attacks. I really had enough of the Big Mom downplay. Big Mom by far is not the weakest Yonko. If you look at her fight eith Kid and Law, she was basically going easy on them and was holding back bc of literal plot.
Big Mom wasn't using advanced armament or advanced conquerors any time during her 1v2. The only time she did use advanced conquerors was near the end of the fight to protect herself from "Danned Punk."
I doubt she would've kost if she used advanced haki against Kid and Law throughout their whole fight similar to characters like Kaido and Shanks. The thing that was holding her back was the fact she was way to arrogant and highly underestinated Kid and Law.

I really cant agree on the fact that Aokiji loses to BB. We have seen him training. And he traims with fkn garp. That means he not only has insane DF and mastery over it, he has insane haki ajd even tho his looks is weakly, dude was on the same level as garp in physical strength. They trained together. So as of now with current feats, i just cant say BB is stronger, and well narrative wise, BB should be stronger tho

He eats it, laughs it off, and immediately reacts to the next shock willie Law throws at him before presumably finishing him off with yami fruit. Literally the moment Blackbeard got on even footing with Law, Law lost.

Personally believe Akainu and Teach are stronger than Kaido and Big Mom. Akainu's fruit will keep him in any fight and BB's "body" will end up being the reason he's top tier, whether he has multiple personalities or transforms after sleeping.
Nah Kaido is a dead no. Akainu can fare well against Kaido, but Kaido would honestly win high-extreme diff while Blackbeard would lose high diff at best. Blackbeard just doesn't have the haki to fight against someone like Kaido yet and deff doesn't have the reaction speed to react to some of his fastest attacks while also not having great travel speed. His devil fruits are kinda useless in a way sense we've seen characters tank Gura Gura hits, and considering Kaido is the second most durable character in the series right behind Warcury, he's deff capable of taking a Gura Gura hit (with or without his devil fruit).
@@Fisher_Tiger01 I think Big Mom and Kaido going MIA after being sent into Magma is foreshadowing to how dangerous Akainu is. He's really slept on even after having a great showing against Enraged WB as well as multiple Yonko commander tier characters at the same time.
Blackbeard as we've seen him would probably lose, but he's going to be ridiculously powerful for some reason or another. EOS BB will probably be top 3 in power. Luffy and Imu are the other 2. Could See many characters we wouldn't expect having to team up to stop him.

You keep saying Whitebeard beat Teach easier but Akainu managed to hit him makes no sense. Akainu was KOed after 2 hits, Teach wasn't KOed after 2 hits, how is this even comparable? Teach shot WB right after, stole his DF, then fought Fleet Admiral Sengoku, he wasn't even close to getting KOed, and you say Fleet Admiral > Admiral, so Sengoku should be stronger than Akainu.

@@TylearnedNo, I swear it was stated somewhere his fruit has the highest offensive power of any devil fruit in the entire series. That could always change, but until I see another fruit like that, he has the highest offensive capabilities thus far, even more so than the Gura Gura.
BB’s hax aren’t even that good tho. The dark fruit only works if he places his hand on the opponent’s DF ability. Thats almost impossible for him to do against Akainu since he takes double pain, and we’ve already seen Luffy and Zoro dodging magma and touching magma and it burning like hell. Gura is the strongest paramecia, not df. Akainu’s boasts the highest AP of every df, including the Gura. BB with his whole crew present ran from Akainu, and while it definitely wasn’t begging, he was scared of what aokiji could do to him. Don’t forget aokiji negged his whole crew, while BB has consistently relied on his crew to save him. Akainu mid-high difs currently.

No it doesn’t, he had to touch WB and Ace to nullify their fruits. He took 2 of ace’s flame spears to the chest while he was pulling him in. He has to physically touch the df user to nullify them. That’s y he said he was worried about letting go of boa. If he could just cover the ground in darkness to nullify her, letting her go wouldn’t be a problem.
