Niiice! Red POWER!!!
That tractor is workin hard
It definitely was! Heavy soil and manure on top of the ground made for some tough ripping.
cool video...one heck of an outfit. 21" deep is DEEP....don't they worry about hitting old tile lines?
Cool equipment for sure
Hello everyone good vidéo tractor chaser and great equipement
Thanks 👍
We run a dmi tiger2 5 shank on a 9330 and 9380 case steiger
Great tillage team! DMI made some great rippers.
@tractorchasers used to have a case steiger 350hd with a case 730b ripper but times got tough and couldn't make payments but honestly it was for the best just to new for us back in 2015
Typical slippery spring conditions.
Seemed to have plenty of power; power to the ground was limiting. Wonder if a track-tractor would have fared better?
Good up close footage.
Thank you! They were running it on a QuadTrac before this, but felt the wheeled tractor pulled it better in these conditions.

How interesting. Wonder why and how?
@@eatingamandarin Think about it. Tracks are supposed to create less compaction correct? That means less psi on the ground.
Thank you for the statistics from 1:15 - 2:10
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the info!
Id be curious what the difference would be with a quad trac in the same horsepower vs this steiger.
They were running it on a QuadTrac before this, but felt the wheeled tractor pulled it better in these conditions.
Could the Case have used some wheel weights? Seems to me like it was slipping some.
"Some?" That bad boy was slippin like a BIG dog! haha
Hello! Awesome ripper making the tractor suffer...
It was definitely using all 540 horsepower!
@@tractorchasers And sometimes it's not enough! 👌
M&W Earth Master 5 and 7 shank, Case IH 2594 , the 7 shank was too much, not enough ballast, should have added fluid in the duals and wheel weights on the tears as well. 5 mph with the 7, 6.5 with the 5 shank.
Very cool team! I really like the M&W’s!
We took the fluid out of our duals. with the 30 foot disk we had we ran better without the fluid.
What farmer is this ?
The kind that go back and forth 🤷🏼♂️ sometimes north to south or east to west or other variable combinations of that
@@gliderider7077har har good one 😅
Might enjoy driving it without the blade.
It restricts visibility some, but adds much needed weight to the front of the tractor.
Surprised he’s not ripping at a slight angle to break up the hard pan a little better…
