Reese look up trench wheels for ATV's. We use them in the south to make very small ditches to drain our fields. They are very narrow steel wheels for ATV's. It would sav you a lot of shoveling.
Thanks for sharing. Love seeing the RED equipment as I grew up on a small farm & we used IH equipment back then.

Been a challenging spring at times to keep it all going. Weather delays and breakdowns are all part of the game. Rain in our part of Ohio seems to be kind of hit and miss...we only had 0.14 last week, but to the east of us some had much more.
Seems like farm life is all about fixing things & then producing crops in your spare time. It looks like the best life to live though.

Looking good corn growing good ,715 is doing a good job with the salford looks like the nitroge applicator has some weak spot in it,Sound like you are getting plenty of rain. hope you have a good weak next week,

That 3” rain you mentioned is more than some of our local area has had YTD. Course, we live in a dry area of Texas plains but we sure would rather wait on it to dry to plant than plant it and wait on it to rain. So much variability across the USA.

Instead of using a spade to dig a drain for those small ponds at the end of the fields run an ATV and use the tires to make the ditch it is a lot faster and easier plus it is fun.

Reese, this may be a really stupid question but I'm gonna ask it anyway. Can you tell field corn seeds from sweet corn seeds by looking at them?
No such thing as a stupid question when you’re not sure. Sweet corn looks all shriveled, not a full kernel like field corn.

What effects? Can you show any documentation for ANY sort of effects? Humans have been genetically modifying plants and animals for thousands of years! There is NOTHING you eat that has not been genetically modified over the course of human history, so I guess the effect you are referring to is called "being alive".
