Ferrari goes from F40 to F50; biturbo V8 to a V12. Then kept the V12 in the Enzo, and LaFerrari. Ferraris flagship hypercar should always be a V12. The V6 can remain in their little F1 cars, and have all it's performance for the track. Just like the Enzo, Laferrari, etc, the owners typically don't drive them on the track, they have their RACING variants. E.g. FXX... Additionally, Ferrari chooses to put a V12 in their SUV, where they could've put a V8 birturbo, or even their favorite engine, the V6 apparently, but no. They put a V12... in their SUV. And now? Their hypercar gets a... biturbo V6... here's my favorite part; people are ACTUALLY mad at me mentioning this, because they favor the V6 because of its F1 technology, yet they seem to not have the mind smart enough to comprehend that nobody gives a rats a** about their V6. Ferrari shouldn't even have a V6 in their line up. Not even F1. F1 as a whole, shouldn't have a V6. And again, I clearly don't care about two things; 1. That the V6 is "better" performing. 2. Your opinion. Ferrari, to me, failed. Despite all the performance capabilities, nobody needs 1000+ hp on the road, you can even use it. And most love revving their cars. The V6 ain't it... If you have a problem with my opinion, please feel free to KY.
Only Instagram kids like the noise. People who drive these cars have been begging for less noise for a decade. That’s why so many have full hybrid modes. It’s what the people have wanted for a while now

@@shiraishi1 It could. I believe because you'd need to make it fast-revving and high-revving and these high RPMs take more to make them reliable. You would need higher end materials, engineering, and whatnot. Picture a highly reliable school bus or 18-wheeler or even a diesel generator. It's a low-revving turbo diesel motor. Once you demand that sort of high engine speed, there can be reliability issues. F1 motors need to be rebuilt after a race or two. Same with top fuel. The F80 is without a doubt a beautiful hypercar. Not beautiful in a curvaceaous and traditional way but beautiful in a brutal and extremely purposeful way. You can clearly see that this car is all about pure performance and it even looks like a futuristic spaceship from some angles. I don't understand how people can call the F80 as "ugly". Different and unique, yes. Ugly? Absolutely not. The F80 lapped the Fiorano test track 4.5 seconds faster than LaFerrari. That's a massive time difference in the hypercar world on a short track like Fiorano. Ferrari's halo cars have always been about the ultimate performance. If people want sound and emotion then there's the Icona Series where the Daytona SP3 and Monza SP1/SP2 are. But the F80 is all about showcasing the most modern state of the art technology and innovation from Ferrari, just like the LaFerrari, Enzo, F50 and F40 did before it.
Jeremy once said, when the Ferrari F1 team is doing badly, their road cars will be amazing... Right now, Ferrari in F1 is doin' good and it shows... this car is hard meh
Wait, so 1180 horsepower out of a hybrid V6 that revs to 9200 rpm, with a potential 0-60 time in 2.1 seconds, and has put down a lap at Fiorano that is just behind the FXX-K on slicks is meh?
This car is hard meh because it doesn’t make good noise? Some people don’t like the way it looks. Doesn’t mean it’s a MEH car. What matters most is how it drives. You don’t even know how it handles on the road. Once people actually start DRIVING IT, then we can judge whether it’s good or not. But at least on paper, it looks extremely nice. Again, the fact that it’s barely any slower than a non-road legal FXXK on slicks tells us that it’ll be a monster
@gavcom4060 Not just a noise... the looks are also meh for Ferrari and especially for LaFerrari successor. Let me put it this way... Wanna know how proper halo car is supposed to look and feel and sound like? Look at Lexus LFA. Absolute peak of engineering and driving experience that looks like nothing else from Lexus, yet you recognize it as Lexus immediately. The same goes for LaFerrari, P1, 918 Spyder etc. This is like 296 GTB and 12Cilindri had a honeymoon, and we got no NA V12 nor the awesome design of the 296. You can have a car that handles like heaven itself and have technology from space, but if it has soul of vacuum cleaner and looks like from GTA 5, it is MEH and will forever be. Especially if it's Ferrari. I've spoken, and any other further comments on how this car is aCtUaLlY gOoD, will not receive my attention.
I don't think Enzo would have liked nor allowed a Ferrari with no sound, let alone the flagship car. Impressive car still yes, but its a car without a soul, and there is nothing italian about that. I'd totally get a GMA T.50, Valkyrie or Koenigsegg over this.
IDK if Enzo would've cared, given how little he apparently tended to care about street cars. Luca di Montezemolo, on the other hand, has likely just put John Elkann on a hit list 😆
ALL this Design is a crime, as an italian who loved ferrari designs, I can say, this is the ugliest of all times, 100 times better the F40 (the best of all)
@@hiperformance71 100% agree with you. If people ever start to say that this design is growing on them, its because they are convincing themselves that Ferrari hasn't ruined his "Super" series.

It's one of the ugliest, uninspiring Ferraris ever made..

@danieldickerson4838 Yep... and you wanna know why? Because numbers aren't everything.

The front of this thing is a crime
ALL this Design is a crime, as an italian who loved ferrari designs, I can say, this is the ugliest of all times, 100 times better the F40 (the best of all)
Its just hideous.
@@hiperformance71 100% agree with you. If people ever start to say that this design is growing on them, its because they are convincing themselves that Ferrari hasn't ruined his "Super" series.
