Hi, I'm Charlotte Dobre. I'm an actor, reactor, singer and sometimes (not really) comedian. On this channel I do reactions, commentary and occasionally I crack a joke or two. I upload daily, usually 7 days a week, unless life gets crazy or I get lazy. Come hang out, it's a good time.

She called Aquaman “waterman” before she called him Jason Mimosa. That post had LAYERS.
😂😂😂
Omg lol!!!
My grandma calls him Jason Mimosa as well. Also calls Game of Thrones 'Games of Corns'. I don't know where that comes from but it kills me.
I call Aquaman as Little Mermaid, thanks to Justice League movie. :D
@@deitrabess588 there was a stephen king tv series in the late 70s early 80-s called 'the children of the corn' and it was f-ing scary!!! Maybe she is refering to it? Can you ask her and then let me know? :)
Lmao. Old people on the internet is the best. I always loved seeing whatever updates my grandmother would make. Every morning she'd post the weather and expected temperature for the day. It was so cute.
Oh boy! I'm an old person who hasn't owned a TV in 7 years, quit Facebook last Summer, never seen Tik Tok (except for the funny stuff Charlotte shows us), and I'm completely out of touch with current fads and social media.
I still wear the same size I did when I was 20, that was 40 years ago, so I'm still wearing 30-40 year old Levis and t-shirts. Today I'm wearing my favorite Batman shirt I bought in 1988. Someone called it "retro", and I just smiled, knowing it sure wasn't "retro" back when I bought it.
I have a feeling this video will be like looking in a mirror! I better go get my 2nd cup of coffee and get ready to say, "Oh crap! I've done that!" 😂
It's good to laugh at one's self.
@@LazyIRanch I totally wish I still had my batman shirt! My father lives with me since mom passed and I recently discovered his love of tie dye shirts. He will also grumpily tell me when I get home.." i texted you..you never replied " me looks at phone seeing no missed texts. Tells him network must be running slow..and hour later I go on Facebook and see a message there from my dad. After learning to use a smart phone he now confuses texts and messaging as the same thing..its been 6 years 🤣❤ and I still catch him poking his screen aggressively trying to make it work 🤣🙏
I miss seeing my grandmothers posts. I always appreciate when a memory comes up on Facebook with her.
Haha when my mum first got Facebook a few years ago she liked to save pics my brother had posted of his holidays..... She would tag herself in them so on my brothers profile it would say 'bro name' is with 'bro wife and bro mum' hahaha it looked like she was going on holiday with them all the time 🙈🤣
@@LazyIRanch I wish I could be here to see what the youngsters in the next 30-40 yrs say about these UA-cam videos. They will finally understand how we feel. Karma! 😂
How cool you are in the same size! Wish I could say that!
As an "official " old person, may I just say that Jason actor dude should do rounds at old folks homes. There are a multitude of L.O.L. (little old ladies) who would loose their minds happily 😊
He could serve cocktails and call it Mimosas with Momoa!
I'd vote for that. Not many hunks in Hollywood anymore. Though not sure we've got much of a mind left to lose...
I agree. As an old person that would be great.
Did you see when he was on Conan with Betty White?
WHY DO I LOVE THIS COMMENT SOOOOO MUCHHHHHH!😍😎
Considering the 'tuba' was actually a French Horn, NOT a tuba!
Made me laugh though
Bothered me so much ngl
At first glance, I thought it was a sousaphone. But yes, upon further inspection, it is clearly a French horn. Tiny mouth piece gives it away.
It was funny but it’s a French horn
Came here to say this, only because she used the word tuba SO MANY TIMES
I can't wait to get to that age, where people think it's cute when I mess up.
when you are totally confused at 28, people just give you this sad look^^
But ya get away with flirting, being cute, and if you're lucky, you get called ADORABLE!!!
🥺
I'm 30 and I know that look all too well...😐
My grandma only ever writes "that was funny" on my FB posts. Never anything else...just "that was funny" 🤣
lol that’s funny
I had to give up posting my bad "dad jokes" of Facebook.
Seeing 50 Cent reminded me of the post I made about a goat I sold on Craigslist a few years ago. I have a small goat ranch, and have to neuter the baby boys so they don't grow up to be bucks. I will spare the details of how it's done.
Anyway, the goat I had for sale wasn't really neutered, he still had one testis, and I couldn't have him impregnating his sisters so he needed to go to a new home.
In my ad I said that his name was "Fiddy-Cent", because he's half-a-buck! (ta-da-dum-rimshot!)
The guy who bought him thought it was funny, but NO one on Facebook got the joke!
@@LazyIRanch That is hilarious, your Facebook friends have no sense of humor
Lol
I cracked up at the priest one. Not the best story to tell but funny none the less. Also I too will be the best Uncle ever!:D
You keep this " old person " laughing...even at my own expense. Lol
Hi Donna, me too!

@@stephanievizzi9147 thanks! I just burst out laughing (read guffaw). Honestly glad no one is home to ask what the heck I’m laughing about!
My siblings and I have a group chat where we send each other screenshots of our grandpa's comments on our posts. He signs every single one with "love, Grammy and poppy" and always adds a gif. 😅 it's adorable and hilarious.
My friend's mum once tagged me in a Facebook post saying she was at that specific restaurant with me and like 20 other people. I WAS SO CONFUSED so I texted her and she explained she thought she had to tag everyone she wanted to see the post 😂
True story: Several years ago I was grocery shopping with my hubby. He is basically a 12 year old wrapped up in a 70 something body. So, he has...let's call them "digestive issues" and the result can be quite rank. As we cruised down the aisle, a toxic cloud was produced by hubby. It was particularly rank - 10 skunks could not match it (trust me). Another shopper was heading toward where we had just been - I tried to stop her - honestly. All of a sudden she stops, gropes toward the item she wanted and turns to practically run back the way she came. As she got to me she covers her mouth and with tears streaming gasped, "Oh my god that is rank!" My reply was, "And I have to live with that." My 12 year old hubby trapped in a 70 something body is standing there giggling - you know come to think of it he was more like a 9 year old at that point. He still enjoys the fact he nearly asphyxiated some poor woman who's only crime was trying to grab a box of oatmeal. Some days you are reminded that marriage requires radical acceptance (and a strong stomach). *G*
😂😂😂😂 oh my goodness, I cried tears of laughter reading this, especially when you mentioned hubby giggling. I can imagine my Dad doing the same thing.
Rarely do I laugh to where my whole body shakes, but that story did it. That was one of the funniest stories I have read in a long time. That is true love when you not only accept it but can be out in public!!! Lol!!! That is NOT a man you want to "pull the finger" of. It would be pushing full throttle on a Boeing 747!!
I laughed so hard at the lady watching 'Waterman' instead of Aquaman. 😆
Thank you, there was too much focus on Jason "Mamosa" that the gem of "Water" Man was unfortunately missed.
Ooooohhh, THAT'S what she meant. I was wondering 1) why she thought Adam Sandler was a hunk, and 2) if Jason Mamoa was even in the movie 'Waterboy'.
My mom used to ask my brother to play "Stairway To The Stars" on his guitar, when she meant "Stairway To Heaven".
Then I found out there really is a song called "Stairway to the Stars" that was popular when Momma was young. I tried to convince him to learn that song, (it's lovely!) but he hated music of the 30s and 40s. His loss!
At least once a week I have a day where I listen to Ella, Billy, Sarah, and other great "torch" singers that she listened to when we were kids. Reminds me of happy childhood days.
The "you go girl" on the cat one SENT ME! I tried so hard not to laugh.
Let's all just acknowledge that Cher was old enough to be considered for this collection in 2012! 😂 God love her.
Did you lover her too ?
@@lydiat5819 cute. Fixed it.
We just gonna skip the fact the granny called Aquaman, Waterman??? 🤣
Yes, yes we are. 😉😂🤣
I liked that more than Mamosa.
Close enough
Indeed we are
😂🤣
Ok, but I’m only signing the Jason Mimosa petition if it also changes the title of the movie to, “WATERMAN”!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Mimosa🙋🏾♀️
🤣😂
And this is why I just call my mom on the phone. I'm still laughing at her Facebook post when the movie Straight Outta Compton came out, and she posted, "I wish people would spell things correctly. And what is an NWA? Isn't that Northwest Airlines?" When I finished laughing, I called her up and walked her through deleting a post. After I screenshot it of course...
I WISH I could get my kids to call me instead. A 15 minute conversation by phone can take an hour or more by text or messenger. I'll think they aren't going to answer, so I'll unpause my show or pick up what I was doing and here comes another message. I'll answer and wait, and rinse and repeat. I finally just tell them I'm busy and will talk to them later.
My husband and I are old people. We love all your videos. Especially this one! We laugh so hard at your videos that we call it doing our ab exercises.
It sure hurts in the abs, and I know it's for good ! These makes me really laugh! Charlotte is so funny !!
Oh, wow. I'm cry-laughing. I'll never know the entire story, but years ago on FB, my aunt apparently shared a picture of herself going full on BDSM w/someone. She was in her 60's at the time. My mom said generations were traumatized.😂
Some things you just can’t unsee or ever forget.
My mother in law sent a text to her friend after her friend’s parent died. “So sorry for your loss, lol”. Bless her, she thought “lol” meant “lots of love”!!! 🤣🤣🤣
My big sister was obsessed with boyzone and that was the exact noise she would make at that line. So it started a family tradition, every time me, my mum and my brother hear that line we automatically harmonize "NoooooOOOOOOooo"
My sister does not love this.
You infinitely improve my mental health on a daily basis! Keep smiling and thankyou for all the laughs ❤️
And you guys improve mine ❤️
As a fan of Mr mimosa I loved when she called him waterman😀
My 85 year old father just recently learned how to text message and I get random Gifs here and there lol.
When my grandparents were alive many years ago we used to cut out cartoons from the Sunday paper and mail them to each other. No, they didn't live very far away but it sure was fun and meaningful.
You've been mentioning the sleepovers. Lots of celebrities do cruises and other get-togethers. You really should try to plan a "sleepover" event in Vegas (or similar location) with a block of rooms for Potatoes. That would be a blast!
Yes, and please reserve a couple spots for us old people ❤️
As much fun as I'm sure that would be.. I'm also not sure how I think Charlotte would feel about being that "exposed" for lack of a better word? 🤔
It would be like a meet up! We wouldn't actually be sleeping in the same room.
100% would consider this!
@Meladi M
A charming idea, but probably not safe for Charlotte! I've noticed a couple of strange guys posting on a lot of her vids, aaaand they sure sound stalkerish, to me. It would be a delight to meet her, but...all pleasure would be gone with that if something happened to her.
Bodyguards are very expensive...
Jason Momoa played in Aquaman. Jason Mimosa played in Waterman. Hope that helps ;)
The latter being a low-budget, straight to the DVD bargain bin or a Crackle, Tubi TV, etc!!
Oh gosh. My grandma also does the whole "wow honey this is amazing I hope you had a great day mine was okay except you grampa is a fool and tried using gasoline on the bbq love you" (yes, this actually happened) on my posts where I post my paintings and I laugh all the time.
Old people on social media is both hilarious and precious xD
I also relate to a lot of these. As in my relations do things that would belong on a list like this.
Great aunt #1 sends sympathy cards signed "Sorry for your loss LOL" because she thinks it means 'lots of love.' (Yes, we have told her. Repeatedly.) Great aunt #2 tried to 'answer' her remote control last time we visited. My mom kept leaving posts for people's birthdays and such on her own profile instead of the person she was trying to write them to.
Not saying I'm old but...the first time I went in a chatroom I replied lol to everyone's posts because I thought it meant "lots is love".
They were all stunned senseless as it was a chatroom for fibromyalgia sufferers who were having a hard time!
At the end, all I could think was IT"S NOT A TUBA! I love these videos. Thanks for the joy you share!
I couldn’t help but hear that in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s voice from Kindergarten Cop: “IT’S NOT A TUMOR!” 😂
Had a customer when I used to work at Joanns who demanded that I give them corporate's information because it was too warm in the store. Working there made me hate old people for a while lol I got over that hatred, but it was rough. I now work in a retirement home and I adore the residents, but I can confidently say that the elderly can be some of the coolest, funniest, sweetest, creepiest, and meanest people you'd ever meet.
How many times a day did a customer ask you to just cut a few extra inches of fabric, and then get angry when you told them you'd have to charge them for any extra? 🙄
I worked at a fabric store for 2 weeks back in the 1980s, and that happened several times a day. It usually wasn't old people who did it, usually it was the lady with a passel of bratty kids wrecking merchandise and swinging on bolts of fabric like monkeys while mom ignored their horrible behavior. They are why I left after 2 weeks!
We had a JoAnn's in our neighborhood when I was a kid and it was the only walkable art-type store of any kind. The employees were never nice. I always got mean mugs and I never knew why. Sometimes I was trying to get floss to make friendship bracelets, God forbid going to get a yard or two for simple sewing projects, the fabric lady always seemed weirdly put out. Literally saying things like, 'is this all?' Like yeah, I was 12, they were getting my babysitting money. I wasn't going to be the big spender of the day, but yikes. I hated that feeling because I was taught to be polite. Glad I'm in my forties now, let someone talk down to me like that now, lol. Idk, if you currently work at a Joann's and hate your life don't take it out on kids, they want to be creative too.
"some of the coolest, funniest, sweetest, creepiest, and meanest people" - Sounds like high school.
Trying running 911 calls when stationed in a retirement community……
@@pearlofthedarkage It kind of is, people really don’t change much as they get old, if they were sweet and kind that’s how they still are, if they were asses all their life they are now an old ass. If they get dementia their personality might change, families get embarrassed when when sweet little granny swears like a trucker now and they didn’t even know she knew those words.

My son said "lol" meant lots of love and I'm convinced that he's an old man wearing a child skin suit. My poor baby is eleven years old lol
Had an old mate (male) friend who always ended his messages with LOL. I pointed out his error; he just stuck to his guns and kept doing it. Doubtless I've been laughed at many times.
If 54 counts as old, I guess I'm a rookie(?) old person. I too have sent odd emoji pictures once or twice, and of course I have to look up the modern/younger colloquialisms on a daily basis, but I like learning how language changes over time. This video was wholesome and hilarious. Love your work very much Charlotte ❤️
I constantly Google how to do stuff. Id rather have a stranger on a computer/ phone groan and roll their eyes when I need answers to tech questions lol than see that face and hear my son groan lol.

It hurt me so much, I was like, ITS NOT A TUBA 😭 it’s a French Horn. We don’t deserve to be forgotten like that 🥲
That’s not a tuba, it’s a French horn! I know it looks like a tuba,. French horn is way more difficult to play than a tuba. Usually French horn players are highest paid in the brass section because of the difficulty moving air consistently all those annoying twists and turns. No one probably cares but I thought you should know it anyway.

I should send you the screenshots of my dad commenting on my brother's wordle posts on fb, telling him to "stop sending these"! My dad is 75 and seems to think everything on his newsfeed is for him lol
She watched "WATERMAN"🤣🤣🤣🤣 That was the funniest part of the whole thing
I BET THE GUY'S "HOT AIR BLAST" AT WALMART DIDN'T SMELL LIKE ROSES.... YES, ALL CAPS CUZ I AM OVER 50.
The fact that 'Waterman' actually sounds better than 'Aquaman' says something😂😂
Jason Momosa😂😂😂😂😂😂 I cant😂😂😂
Btw. Its a horn. Not a tuba. My lil former-bandkid-self just crumbled a little more the more you said tuba...
It's not just old people that can write crazy or funny stuff unintentionally online. My sister would always respond to FB posts (or email) from friends and family with Lol and then her name. She thought it meant "Lots of love" and not "Laugh out loud". She wondered why people kept getting upset with her or give her strange looks. 😂
Example:
Ms. Someone "Grandma passed away last night."
My sister "Oh no. Lol, Big Sister." 😆
Love you so much. You are adorable! You made my day with these sweet "old folks" on social media!
