Me and my boyfriend watch you cut and glue and listen to your stories every night. If there isnt a new video we watch old ones. It is soothing.
I used to tell my son, there isn’t anything you can do or think of that I haven’t already done. I later found out, he would wait for me to start snoring and take my car. I never did take my parents car. So he had that on me. I didn’t care for history in school. Like you I love it now. I’m 68 and I think they should allow us to retake history classes to bring our grades up. Thanks for the stories and love the makes.
I really love your stories! I can't imagine having 4 older brothers! You must have been one tough cookie! Keep telling them!
Our neighbor growing up had the cutest pigmy goat, well one afternoon we could hear the dogs barking like crazy and as neighbors we always watched out for our neighbors, so grandpa went up the back hill to find out what was wrong...to his surprise that naughty little pigmy goat Fred had gotten into his owners home office and ate and destroyed his entire office.
Every piece of paper shredded or eaten, down to the computer cords..oh what a disaster...it was.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love your stories and spending time with you.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely love listening to you while you craft. Love the stories of your life. Brings back stories of childhood 😊❤
This was so fun watching you cut paper and tell stories. You had me laughing.
Miss E love your stories. I am so happy you have your video on. I have been laughing so hard you telling us about your childhood. I also love hearing you cut your paper. Thank you for giving us a good time tonight listening to your stories. Have a good night. 🤗
I am preparing for Hurricane Helene. Watching from St Petersburg Florida. Please pray for Florida and everyone in the path of this dangerous storm. Thanking everyone in advance for all of your prayers . ❤❤
@@joycedemolle4565 Praying you all will be safe in all the Hurricanes you have there!!!
God bless you all, I pray His protection around each one of you at all times,All these things I pray in the name of Jesus Amen and Amen 🙏 🙏🙏💜💜💜
I am praying for safety for all in the path of Helene.
Thank you for praying for us in Florida. Praying especially for those in the target area
Here in Sarasota doing the same thing! Thank you for your prayers. Praying here, as well❣️ May everyone be safe!🙏🙏🙏
I felt already the outer band and it had lots of thunder and lightning.
I really enjoy watching you work on journals and listening to your stories.
No I hate history in school but now I love to learn about history and visit places with history. I'm so glad I found u. I love to watch u and listen to u. I'm make my daughter a witch junk journal and I have put some of ur things in it. So many good ideas u have. Miss E thank u so much
I love watching you craft and listening to your stories. I know what you mean about brothers making you tough! I had 2 little brothers, and those boys were something else. It's a wonder we made it to adulthood. They are gone now, so it's just me. I miss those rascals. It's so sweet to reminisce about times past. I only got one spanking at school, and it was because no one would tell who put a snake in the teachers desk, so we all got a spanking. I was more afraid of my Mama than I was of the teachers and principal. She didn't play. ❤😊
Always love your stories and ephemera making. I have no good stories but my husband was a kid could rival your stories. His parents forced him to join the navy at age 17. Grew up in the service which probably saved him from serious bad trouble. Nothing scared him as a child either. ❤️❤️❤️
I’m sitting here watching you do your cutting and laughing at your stories!!! 😂
I love watching you work on the journals and listen to the stories you share with us.😊
I love hearing your stories
Sometimes your shared stories really keep me laughing. Thank you 😊❤.
I put tact’s in the teachers
chair and when she sat down she didn’t do anything then she got up and went to chalk board then the class roared laughing! Then I got in trouble.😢I would love to hear more of your child hood stories!!!♥️♥️♥️
I enjoy your stories so much!
Love watching the videos and listening to sibling stories. I was laughing out loud.
Loved hearing your stories as you craft! I was the opposite as you. I grew up with four older sisters and one younger brother and sister! We are close today! Have a blessed week.
Thank you for sharing your stories and crafting talents.
I love hearing your stories. It reminds me of trouble I'd get into, but I was the oldest so I was the one getting in trouble for doing something to my brother or for not watching him close enough, lol. As my kids tell me, you should write them down for later generations to read and laugh. I'm always watching for a new video from you, I truly love watching you. Thank you for always sharing!
Mrs E your such a amazing crafter. God Bless
I also had 4 brothers lol. It was interesting. 😊
I love watching you make journals and chatting about your life. I’d love to go to Dollywood but that’s a long way from where I live in Australia lol. It’s springtime here at the moment all the lovely flowers are in bloom.
Love your stories!
I'm with your kids on these stories
I love listening to your stories. When you were talking about the tar bubbles all I could do was laugh. Our first house they used to spray tar and then spread crush and then steam rolled. Well there used to be awesome tar bubbles along side the road and i would sit down and spend hours popping them with my finger. Sadly I realized I was stuck to the road by the butt when my mom called. She was NOT happy with me. Crisco took out most of the tar on the seat of my shorts. I had some sore fingers by the time they got scrubbed clean😅
Thank you for the stories and the ephemera is lovely!
great stories,great video
I just love your videos and the tar, I almost died laughing and the well , it is so good to hear , good family stories. I have some too from the day Ms E. You are so wonderful. ❤
I could tell some stories, being a preachers child in the 60’s and 70’s oh I have church stories haha, then I grew up and I’m thankful for all of it
Ms. E I wish I were closer to you, I’d come help you!
I truly enjoy your videos. Love listening to you and your cutting!😊
Enjoyed the makes and wonderful chat. ❤❤😊😊
You have some pretty interesting stories for sure. I was the youngest of 7 children and one of my older brothers and one sister would do some pretty awful things to me. I was just a very shy little girl so the things they did aren't nearly as bad as what you went through. But, just like you, I do miss them. They have all passed on, but the memories are still there for me. I do enjoy your stories and watching you crafting.
Love your stories, I have no brothers, just a younger sister. I do have five kids that have turned my hair white with the stories of what they did that I’ve never heard about until they were all adults.
I’m setting here enjoying watching you crafting ❤ please have a cup of coffee with me ☕️☕️😊
Thinking about my childhood just brings back such happy memories. It is so good to hear your stories. I had 2 brothers and 2 sisters. My older brother was 7 when I came along so he loved playing tricks on me. He would tell me look down that hose and see if any water is coming out, I would look and then he would turn the faucet on and water would hit me in the face. It would make me so mad. It's a blessing to have had a great childhood and upbringing.
Love your stories. Made me laugh.
Me and my 2 sisters an my brother grew up in al little oilfield town in Southern California. We girls were always into trouble and did the darndest things. I think my biggest whipping came from my momma. I caught a tarantula and put it into a cracked eggshell and took it in to my mother. Now my momma was deathly afraid of spiders and she near beat me to death. My daddy laughed so hard he had tears.
I spent part of the day reading a good book, and part of it at the dr with my husband.
I remember my Mother talking about how she would make paper dolls from the paper and Sears catalog.
FUN VIDEO-TFS-HUGS/BLESSINGS
I always had bangs as a kid - perfect pageboy cut. My mom worked for a lady who did catering so she was often gone on Friday nights and it was just me and my Dad. One Friday night, while my Dad was watching TV, I decided my bangs needed to be shorter. Except they came out not only shorter but very crooked! Not only was I in trouble, but so was my poor Dad because he was supposed to be watching me - lol. To this day, I will not cut or trim hair - mine or anyone’s! Learned my lesson - LOL. Glad to know I’m not the only one!
I so enjoyed this video!! I enjoyed hearing your stories of your childhood experiences!! I am am only child, so not many stories, but I did shave my legs when I was really little and I didn’t think my Mom and Dad would notice….I got the belt that night!! I would love for you to do a story time!! ❤
I remember when I was a kid my grandpa had built us a garage. I got ahold of his big golf umbrella and climbed onto the roof of the garage. I had the idea that I could be Mary Poppins and I jumped off the garage with the umbrella. It didn’t quite work like I thought. I skinned up both of my knees but didn’t break anything. 😂. I was fearless when I was young too.
Edith, I love the sound of cutting paper and fabric. I love, love your stories !! ❤
I love your stories❤😊
I love to hear your stories - you should write them down. "Stories from my Childhood" by E 😄
You keep cutting and I’ll keep watching. I love to watch you and I love the sound of cutting paper. I’m just relaxing after spending the day painting the outside of my house.
Great video Edith thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your stories, Love listening to you Edith ❤.
I also did some mess, 😂, learned by my 4 yr older brother who got in trouble quite too often! Nothing criminal though.
But he got a pay back from his own 2 sons too. 😅
My hubby and I have 2 girls who has given us some grey hair, especially in their teens. Now they are young adults.
I too hated history in school, it was indeed made boring from how we were taught. Now I am indeed interested in it.
I love cutting up paper too. When I was a kid I drove my Mom nuts, I wanted paper dolls just so I could cut out there clothes. LOL
Thank you so much for sharing your stories, Love listening to you Edith ❤.

I love watching you work and loved your stories.
I was the oldest in our family n had had 2 younger brothers 7 n 9 yrs younger than me so i was the one pulling shenanigans on them.
I was doing a story for school on John Quincy Adams. My youngest brother was so taken by what i was doing. He was 6 n headed to kindergarten in August.
I convinced him he was John Quincy reincarnation!
I gave him a quiz verbally with multiple choice anwsers.
He guessed everything correctly. This was my final history assignment for my grade that year. So all summer he went around telling family he was John Quincy!
School started in august. Teacher was doing roll call n kids would raise their hand.
The last boy had not raised his hand. She asked him whats your name.
He said John Quincy Adams!
That night when i got home dad was waiting on me with the belt. He swatted me a few times n grounded me. I was 15 n that was the end of my shenanigans!
Im 68 now n brother 59 n he still tells that story!
I got more paddlings than my brothers in school. And i got one too because i was honest. Never did think that was fair, but boy, i wasn't backing down. LOL
I love to watch you cut out your paper. Me too I love to cut paper and I cut my own hair still to day! And I made my own paper dolls and clothes out of the Sears catalog to. Oh me too it does seem like yesterday!!
I enjoy listening to your stories, brings back old memories of mine
You had me laughing out loud at your story about the "bubbling tar".
I always said the same thing about they would turn me loose when morning comes!! lol we sound so much a like love it !!! I should call you sis!!! I always wanted a sister!!!
My sweet petite 5 yo granddaughter has two brothers that are 3 and 4 years older. I believe she could defeat a champion boxer after dealing w/those boys. If they don't stop bothering her when she says to, she winds up that little fist like a tornado and lands one on their chin or chest. You can her them yelling, "Ok, ok" while they hightail it back to their own rooms. I pity the boy that ever gets fresh w/her as a teenager. He'll need a dentist. Love your stories E!
I love your stories! ❤ your family sounds like mine. 😂 I’m the baby out of 5. 3 boys and 2 girls. They were 4, 5, 8, and 10 years older than me. They left me out of most of their shenanigans because I was the baby. But nobody else was off limits! 😂😂😂
I just love your stories. We are close in age. Im 65 and LOVE PAPER. i kept every sheet of paper from school. I sure wish I had some of that green paper vintage paper now to add to my journals.I would love to see my writing and grades. I do have my high school report cards. I would get into trouble cause I would keep so much of my papers. Even today I save paper. I was the baby and the only girl. I had 3 older brothers 1 was 9 years older than me 1 was 7 yrs older and1 was 5 yrs older than me. I was spoiled rotten. My brothesr had to babysat me a lot and sometimes they were so mean to me. but i would tell on them and get them in trouble. We got spankings also.We were playing baseball one time and I got in the wrong spot and got hit in the forehead with the bat, knocked me for a loop. I still have a knot on my forehead today. where i got hit. Then we were playing with the bows and arrows and I shot my brother inthe leg with an arrow it stuck but not not to far in. I always got my way with them having to take me with them to the store or their friends. I was more of a tomboy sometimes when I was younger but They had to play doll babies with me or I would find some way to get them in trouble,LOL.... I only have my middle brother left living now. When I watch ur videos I generally cut ephemera out. PLEASE dont stop the stories I lovelove hearing them. Sometimes I wish u could make 3videos day LOL... that is impossible I know but that is how much I like listening to u. GLAD u r feeling better and back to making journals. Missed u while u were out. You made a pocket and flip page something I didnt understand how u made it around 41:45 time frame. Thanks E, U bring more joy than u know to some peoples life. LOVE the two journals u r working on. TWEETYVA (Diana)
That Vintage Letterbox digital is so beautiful!
Love listening to your stories, unfortunately I lived in a household where child services should have been involved! Nice to hear your adventures. Have your thought about writing them all done for your great grandchildren in the future? X
Thank you for sharing your cut outs and your soothing chat. Edith I think we have a few things in common. Our birthdays are two days apart. I had four brothers. My first born brother I didn't know. My other three brothers have passed as well my mom and dad. GOD bless u abundantly. Bye bye.
My mother was convinced if she lived long enough she would find out everything we did. When we got together as adults we would talk about things we did as kids.
I was the youngest of 3 and had 2 older brothers. I worshipped my brothers. I did get a fat lip one day saying something about my brother in front of his friends.
One day while playing I got my big coffee can of marbles and my brothers big coffee can of marbles and I called my mom to the stairway and then when she got there and turned to look up, I poured them on her and boy did I get in trouble And then I had to go pick them all up that was like yesterday to me too. It was so fun to watch her try and dodge them it was like she made a new dance!!
I would love to go to Dollywood but I couldn’t walk it now.😢
Thank you for your stories when we would visit my aunt and uncle that lived in Slaton TX my dad had 3 other brothers 2 have pass away now but we would stay up late with them telling stories about them growing up and they lived on a farm and had a out house we would laugh so hard our jaws would hurt.. I just finish a small journal for my granddaughter I used one one of those composition books.. I made journal covers using material and Amazon bubble bags can you show how to cut it because my come out dorky ....I would appreciate it. Thank you and yes I would like to hear more stories. I got in watching Gunsmoke on INSP channel 58 if you have Spectrum but looking at the prices of things to now is a big difference. Thank you
Edith, love stories and all the laughs, when I was 8 years old my older sister and younger brother dared me to wear a Halloween mask and go into grandma's room, so I did, she almost had heart attack, she got so frighten and I had the poop beaten out of me. Another time we were all dressed up to go to a wedding, they dared me to climb the peach tree in yard, so I did, when I came down the tree my dress got caught on a branch and I tore it, well I had the poop beaten out of me again, I was a very bad kid and still a bad adult, lol.
I giggle very time u talk about cutting up sears catalogs. I use to go to my gramma's and do the samething. I loved sitting and cutting pictures out of the catalog. She had a closed in porch and I would sit for hours and cut. I also grew up with 2 bigger brothers. My brothers did the same thing to me all the time. I have ate dog food, cat food, raw rubar . So I can relate to u, lol 😂😂
My sisters tell a story about when the oldest one got into my dad’s dresser drawer and found some “water balloons.” I guess they took them outside and had a little water balloon fight in the front yard.
They didn’t bother to clean up, so when dad got home…
Well, he wasn’t too happy to say the least!!
I am 10 years older than my baby brother and God forgive me I was so mean to him when we were kids. I regret some of those things but we grew real close over the years. Love your stories and your videos.
🌹🌹🌹
Good morning I hope everyone will be safe. Sorry to hear of the hurricans❤
❤
One older brother but I was the tuff one I thought anyway. My brother was number 300 to receive a new heart and he lived 18 years longer. I miss him so much, I’m the last of f my family and now my husband found out he has cancer. I cry my self a sleep at night knowing I might lose him.
I was born way behind the rest of my siblings. The closest brother was 13 years older. We fought like cats and dogs! He was ALWAYS doing stuff to me! Now we are very close.
I never cut my own hair but one day in 2nd grade I was in the bathroom at school and decided to curl my hair. I wound a come all the way up to my scalp and couldn’t get it out. My teacher couldn’t either so I had to sit through the rest of the day with that comb stuck to my head 😂
My mom and my sister ended up cutting it out after they pulled as much hair out as they could.
Never did that again!
😊
Hi Mrs. E., thank you so much for your video. I have 3 older siblings, a twin sister and a younger brother. I have also got a lot of stories and yes I also have a bad hair cut done by myself 😂😂 and it is always the bangs!!! It took so long to grow out😅😅, I remember, after cutting my bangs, I went to my Mom, crying and asking her to fix my hair with glue!!! She gave me a spanking and a scold and then she said you will just have to let your hair grow out!!! I was so embarrased.
My Dad worked a lot and we couldn't make a lot of noise when he was at home. I had an awesome childhood but then and even now the worst thing that my Dad can tell me is that he is disapointed in me 😢😢😢 and I am 50 years old. I am always looking for his validation and I have never gotten it no matter how hard I work to be a good person and be a God fearing Christian. I have worked a lot to be at peace with my Dad but it is hard not to be told that you are loved and appreciated. Sending my love from Portugal, God bless ❤❤
When I was about 9, I had a hamster, and decided in my ultimate wisdom to put him in my Mom's purse to give her a fright! Well it worked!! She was not a happy girl! And I was probably lucky my hamster didn't get hurt! The things we did as kids!🤣😅
I grew up with six brothers on a farm, and we did plenty of crazy stuff. As far as getting into trouble at school, I didn't because our neighbor was one of my teachers, and I would have gotten it twice if I did. I had my share of childhood injuries. My brothers dared me to kung fu kick the bedroom door open, and I turned my ankle over and thought I would die. Lol. I also ran around the wood pile straight into the axe. I had a five inch cut on my ankle. I ran out the back door when I was 10 and put my arm through the window and got a nasty cut that needed stiches. The list goes on. I was a tom boy who had six brothers, what can I say. Lol. I only have two brothers left, and I miss the ones not here anymore. 🙂♥️
Hello Eve
Just to add to my comment, when I was about 10 I broke my leg and was in a full leg cast. For some reason my middle brother got mad at me and pushed me down our basement steps! Didn’t do any damage but I got to go away to my aunts till it came off! 😅
I was playing with my Barbies when I was elementary school age. I was outside playing in my mom's flower garden. She had some Bird of Paradise that was about to bloom. She had been looking forward to to it blooming. I accidently broke the stem. I knew how much she had been looking forward to it blooming. So I went inside and got the scotch tape and taped it straight. The next day she was looking out the window and saw it didnt look right. She went out to look at it, and when she saw my repair job, I'm told she immediately said "that d*m Susie." She had no doubt who was to blame. And even though it was true, she didn't believe it when I told her I was trying to fix it so it would still bloom. She believed I taped it to keep from getting in trouble! My aunt told me that I was a little he**ion when I was little!
I love listening to your stories!
I love listening to your stories and watching you craft ❤ I didn't get a lot of spankings growing up, but my brothers did. I was a very quiet, shy girl. Now you cannot spank if you do your in big trouble, I do also think kids are a lot more disrespectful. I look forward to your stories 😊❤
My brother was 21/2 years older than me and I was the mischievous one. I loved pulling pranks on my mom and of course I got the razor strap usually for doing that and my brother would always holler hold steel and you won’t get hit as hard not me. I had the running circles and my dad holding my arm or I crawl under the table trying to get away from me that didn’t work, so I got my punishments, but it didn’t stop me from pulling pranks on
I meant to say we are very good friends mow in our old age so all is forgiven, accept for the frogs 😂😂😂. As for hair cuts, one of my grandsons had very straight hair and he cut himself a fringe with a pair of pinking shears. His mother was not impressed 😂😂
Hi Edith. Yes I had two tormenting brothers. One shot me in the leg with a home made arrow.I have a life time fear o frogs, because they held me down and put them on my face,. We are version
We are hunkering down today. Hurricane Helene is heading our way……. 💨💦🌪️
Mrs E I had a 5th grade German man teacher who spanked me in the coat closet with a size 13 men's tennis shoe. I think he was mad about loosing the war and he took it out on the kids. You had the choice of the tennis shoe or a wood paddle with a hole in it. I had heard the paddle was worse so I opted for the shoe, I don't think it mattered. I took my coat and ran home and my Dad was not happy the German teacher spanked his little girl. He was nice to me after that but I broke my right arm when I fell off the front porch and couldn't wright so I got D's in everything but P.E. I got into alot of trouble too. Hugs Sandie from Texas.
We’re looking we got a hurricane coming and we’re in Florida and not too far from Tampa about a half an hour so we’ve been bringing in some stuff putting it away picking up in the backyard
I'm 45 and I have a brother who's 47 now, I had a baby sister who is 18 months younger than me, she passed away 14 years ago at age 29. My sister and I were best friends and I miss her so much ❤ but we fought a lot as kids. I remember arguing with her when we were in like 1-2nd grade and she kept tapping me in the arm and I told her if she kept doing it I was going to hit her with my book, so she kept doing it. I took my book and smacked her forehead with it, she started crying and I was like oh no I'm sorry I didn't mean to hit you that hard.. 😂 I just wanted her to be quiet so I didn't get in trouble.. my brother who is almost 2 years older than me, fed me tiny black pebbles, he told me they were candy..lol I was about 3 and he was about 5.. 😂
My teacher would always get mad at me when I was would be talking in the classroom. So the one time that she got so angry with me. She made me stand up in front of the classroom. Hold my hands out and she would take her ruler and hit my hands. Oh my goodness, I tell you. The kids don't know what that feels like. But wow. My mom would say what did you do today.
You must have had the same teacher I had!!! 😂
I am sitting here laughing so hard 😢😢😢😅😅😅
No you are not the only one who got in trouble. One time my brother said a bad word and when I told on him my mother washed his mouth out with soap and then washed my mouth out for tattling😂.
Our family dog bit my hand (not too hard) when I thought it would be fun to throw grass clippings on him. I went running to my dad and rather than scolding the dog, I got a spanking. I don’t know why I wanted to annoy the dog.
I never got a paddling at school, but boy did I get spankings at home! Usually by my dad with a belt, but sometimes my grandmother with a switch! Usually that she made me select myself. And i t had better be a good one! And never tell your dad that it didn't hurt! You be spanked till it does! Most of my trouble was because I had a smart mouth!
