I believe it helps a person when they are able to talk about what's going on with their health, no matter the reason. I always like library pockets! They are a staple for journals! I wish I was going on that little trip! Sounds perfect and time to decompress! Sometimes you need to be somewhere that there is no cell service and in nature to reboot everything! That’s why I love camping so much and we took the kids camping all the time!

I love it when you craft with no plans.. I sometimes have an idea in mind, and it comes out completely different than I thought I wanted it to look like, often times it’s better! I watched the new TV show last night, Matlock with Kathy Bates.. loved it! It’s a keeper.. the ending was unexpected!

My ,Dad's birthday was Oct 7th too. He passed in 1998 at the age of 57. Back when i turned 58 i cringed because Dad never got to be that age. Up and down roller coaster is my life too. Regular meds don't ever take that away, but over the years like you, i have learned to ride the coaster and look forward to better days coming. Hard to think that sometimes, but God hasn't failed me and He keeps me going.
OMG, I love you! I just made an hour-long video that I did not plan, and I measure wrong etc. But I persevered. I think it's important people see the process and know that perfection is an illusion. Glad you are a little more "up" tday. Crafting truly is a therapy. Hugs!
Hi Edith, Don't apologize. You make us happy watching you! You help us a lot & there's a lot in this community! I know about when it's the anniversary of a loved one that has passed. My parents passed within a year of each other & I was a mess. I was the baby of 3 children. A late baby, too. But I still find something of theirs & start crying & then it's over until the next time. They've been gone 30yrs. So it never goes away completely! Thanks for just making up something while you're on u-tube & not having it all preplanned! It's so much better & fun to watch you make something out of scraps that you have on your table! So, thanks for sharing all you do! You take care. I hope you get to go on your getaway next month! When I heard you say your birthday is October 7, and had depression , I also have depression bouts out of nowhere. I have taken meds for several years, and they really help. But sometimes I have to fight it everyday. Also, our youngest son ‘s birthday is October 7. He died 4 years ago, so it is always a tough go during that time. He was 49 years old. I listened to you talk after your husband passed, and I felt so helpless. There are no words, or right or wrong way to grieve. Everybody has their own way to try to get through. I feel his presence when a Cardinal comes to see me, when I find a bird feather, see a beautiful butterfly, or see his image in a cloud. I hope your depression stays in the background, and your memories of your husband make you smile. I watch you all of the time. Thank you for taking the time to make your videos and for your beautiful freebies. It is also nice to hear someone who sounds like me. I am from Tennessee.
