Instructions said the fuel sensor was optional and only necessary if you plan on mixing fuels like E85. I just installed the first 2 sensors mentioned and everything runs great.
I have an S4 but video is still very helpful since they are similar. When I installed my JB1 on my A3 years ago there were no video so this is a welcome tutorial. Thanks!
Thanks for the video. Was curious if you had more insight or details (video?) on how you passed through the firewall. I've spent WAY too much time trying to get this sorted but can't figure out the specifics.
Nice video but you put the jb4 on the brake booster line if that line gets broken u will loose all brake pressure think it's better behind the hard line on the firewall
Depends which map you do, Map1 is 2psi over stock, Map2 3psi, Map3 4psi, map5 6psi, and Map 6 is custom (custom tune is the best) no engine is exactly the same so custom as far as my knowledge would lead me is the best option.
One question I have is the instructions say to pop the hood and lock the door for 10 mins but how do u get into the car for the obd2 if the doors are locked
I am in Kansas, gets pretty hot here. I am not running an aftermarket intercooler, and I have not experienced any overheating issues. But it will likely be my next upgrade
An Aftermarket intercool actually needs to be the FIRST mod on this car, the oem one get’s heat soaked very fast even on oem tune, tuners did testing to show what the oem cooler iat’s were getting to, vs an aftermarket cooler, and the difference is up to 100 degree’s... I noticed my power picking back up after i get to about 50-60 mph with my aftermarket intercooler, it was the opposite with the oem cooler. I could feel it get heat soaked pretty quick.

Are you running map 1?

How difficult was the install? I am thinking of getting for my 2018 S4.
@@reecemcdaniel7675 On the A3 the final plug was a pain because it goes to the charge pipe on the bottom. The JB4 on the S4 looks pretty easy.
S4 and S5 is the same car the engine is the same

how would i switch maps btw? without the bluethooth thingy
Nice video, thanks! How much power do you gain with JB4?

Did the check engine light turn on?

Same as the hood. Leave them open and then lock the car keeping the fob out of reach for 10 minutes
What was the gains ?
Hi i have a 2019 s5 and are you running an after market intercooler? And if you are not are you having any issues with heating up with the tune?

Would have been perfect if he had shown how to access the firewall.
Burger trash smh
It's actually not a bad mod for the S4, especially if you're wanting something that is easily reversible.
Oh yea?
