I'm not sure yet how your new book will apply to Tenkara since that is the only way I fish but it is worth it to me if only for your continued success. You two have done such an incredible job supporting Tenkara that you deserve my support.
Thank you David, if you ever fish a sunk fly on your tenkara rig (particularly if it is a crossover/bead-head type fly) there is a ton of stuff to help you fish European style tactics derived from competitions with your tenkara gear. Now, while that is very different from "fishing tenkara" it can definitely help you get more understanding and success in either western nymphing or Japanese tenkara. I think you might particularly like the Spanish leader/Peche a la Sempe approaches as applied to fixed line/long rod rigs (which has a good deal in common with Shin Takahashi's style of nymphing).
@@FishingDiscoveries , I have probably nymphed over 80% of the time with a tungsten bead head.

Just one thing can you say where to obtain that box of rig holders. I have looked but unsure which is which. I bet I am not the only one interested in purchasing the same item.

The rig holder in the video is by Preston Innovations, they are generally available from Angling Direct (and come in a couple of different sizes). We're doing some more testing of rig storage and will continue to add info via the bonus video site that book owners get a free pass to join. All the best Ian.
