Raushan is a very talented singer but she did not have as much training as her brother. She will be no singer and that is sad but even more beautiful because she does what she whant to do and that is the most important. (I thought she does art school.) And don't worry Dimash did not show his best because there are better versions of this song.
Dimash says that Raushan has a strong voice but she is shy. He also said that he was also shy at her age (she's 16 here). Raushan is very shy ... but her big brother is there. In the meantime, she has left the music college because she loves science, but above all mathematics. She received a scholarship to study at Astana Medical University to become a doctor. I think wonderful teachers got ahold of Dimash and siblings very early and guided their development expertly so that they were able to realize their extreme potential.
Dimash is in fact rewriting the rules of the game. He is pushing the boundaries which seemed impossible just a few years ago. If there ever was a "complete" singer/performer, Dimash is the closest anyone has ever been to it.

Oh my gosh you laughing made me laugh as well! When I first saw this, I knew DImash had to pull out all of the stops for the dignitaries, and I knew his sister doesn't really sing much. Therefore I thought nothing of it. If you aren't expecting it, though, it does look like he's really showing his poor sister up! 🤣 DImash is always very respectful in any other duets I've seen, and definitely doesn't show up his partners. I think Dimash did this to throw a little lightness into the song. It was extremely emotional when he sang the entire song himself without interruptions. I think he wanted his shy sister to sing but I do not know if that is her ambition or not.

He did the same craziness in that Chinese competition, that´s the reason why he was "showing off". So in fact he wasn´t. :) BTW, in that competition he had backing singers who made that whole thing even better.

I agree with you Linor. It was good, but it left me wanting a little more.
Their mother is an opera singer, so it's understandable that these two learned how to sing correctly early on.
I think Dimash did this to throw a little lightness into the song. It was extremely emotional when he sang the entire song himself without interruptions.
I think he wanted his shy sister to sing but I do not know if that is her ambition or not.

Actually, I read somewhere that she blocked at the end and Dimash rescued her and took over and made it look like this was how the song was arranged. If you look well, you see her hesitate and turn away from the microfoon, and Dimash jumping in. Just sooo sweet, big brother. But loooots of 👏🏻 for Raushan, I would wett my paints there on stage!!

She has chosen another career than music and is studying at med school.
He did the same craziness in that Chinese competition, that´s the reason why he was "showing off". So in fact he wasn´t. :) BTW, in that competition he had backing singers who made that whole thing even better.
