- In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse SE. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I'm 6'2", 225 lbs, and I fit in perfectly. as long as you don't seat someone in the back. I don't see why mitsubishi had those seats there. but this car is amazing. I wish I would've been to get a GT instead, but mine still pulls. if you get the GS invest on the fog lights, it's worth it. mine have a yellow JDM tint and I have 4000k hid on my headlights.
I plan on getting this car.

I drive it every day 300 km, travel between home and work at least, and temperatures of uae more than 50 c, I remember that I bought it new in 2014 and lost 85 thousand kilos in one year only, and has stability on the road at high speeds such as German cars, the AC Very cool in high temperature in Dubai, it 's a rock car made to stay forever

It does. They also have a USB/iPod adapter you can add to the stereo yourself or have your dealer install for you.
Also, mine has a 3.8L V6. Thing hauls.

Pretty cool. I have an 07 GT with 40xxx miles on it and I fucking love it. Gas is expensive but it's so worth it for how fun the car is. Only wish it was RWD
Lol if no one has already answered your question, Its so the glass doesn't get "suctioned off" the weather stripping when opening the door, and it doesn't smack it when closing. If you look at old cars with frame-less windows, you'll notice the weather stripping around the window takes a beating. It wears more quickly, and it my start to leak. Your car has a little sensor on the door handles that tells the window motor to lower the window a bit every time you use it. Its a nice feature. :-)

the cabin speakers are very clear, and if you turn the bass up the 12 inch sub actually kicks pretty hard... (i have an 06 GT with the same sound system)
I've never seen a special edition tag on the back like that. My SE has a factory front bumper kit and wing and this one in the video does not......

Is this a good first car?
I have a black 07' GS and LOVE LOVE LOVE it. And the 650 Watt 9 speaker Rockford Fosgate system is DAMN good for a factory system. Car gets a lot of attention from passersby. Has a nice little grumble to the engine... Makes it sound like a bigger engine but with decent fuel economy. Back seat is worthless, aside from being a good place to put my purse! It's no Bugatti, but makes my drive to work a lot of fun.
i have this same car, and when ever i open the door, the window goes down approx 1cm. and when i close it, it goes back up? any ideas?

I own the 2009 Gs model and It’s pretty good for a first car with great mpg, I drive it to school and it’s ok. But if you want a more fun faster car get the GT model

this is a frameless door, so for the window to seal against moisture and wind it raises itself and tucks into the door seal..
is it rear wheel drive??

Why does the car make 5 double beeps at startup? How can you decrease or stop the beeps?
Those are the seatbelt sensor warning beeps. But we all learned to put our seatbelts on BEFORE starting the car in driving class... so i guess you can figure out to make them stop! :-P
Bone stock straight from the factory I think the 3rd Gen GT was the best Eclipse. Most love the 2nd gen GSX and GST but I think that's purely based on being able to modify the turbo.I still think when lowered/or slammed the 2g looks best although the 4g looks great as well.2g 97-99 had dope ass headlights but the interior on the 2g was crap and they didnt release a black interior/leather option until late in 99. 3g is best cuz you can really feel the torque and its most comfy. I've owned 2-4 gen
My aunt had one it was Black nice too but wrecked it in 2012 in a bad crash it caught on fire after she hit a tree it was in December tho and was snowing crazy

Depends my buddy. Im pretty sure the newer models have more HP but the older ones are obviously more affordable. You can turbo your old eclipse if ya want
+Techno sailor I've owned a 1999 Eclipse 2g, 2003 Eclipse Spyder GT, and currently a 2008 Eclipse GS so I could help answer some questions. The "spyder" model eclipse is attached to all convertible Eclipse which were available during 2,3,4th generations. As for what one is the best I personally prefer the 4g Eclipse. It has the styling similar to the 2g which was arguably the best looking generation, much nicer build quality and interior. Also much newer and more reliable. I'd personally go with the GS as opposed to the GT for the following reasons: Cheaper, Better on gas, Does not require premium, has a 60/40 weight distribution, and is 200lbs lighter. Its a better handling car and you can do a lot with it to make it feel even better. On my 4g I have an injen CAI, cat back exhaust, light weight under drive pulley, eibach strut braces, and tein suspension and the car sounds and handles amazing. The 4g GT is 200lbs heavier than the GS, has a worse balance with a weight distribution of 38/62, is pretty hard on gas and does require premium. Spyder models are also heavier than normal Eclipse so something else to keep in mind. If you have any more questions feel free to inbox me.

As far as an Eclipse and performance are concerned it definitely depends on which generation you desire.

yea but it was priced similar to its rwd competition which is a no-no for a fwd car and after the turbo/awd option was removed in 2000 the eclipse lost its popularity among tuners and enthusiast. But the 3rd and 4th gen cars are very comfy daily drivers they come with power everything,leather options,cup holders,v6 motors,sunroofs and they are surprisingly light and quick and for a teen or young adult its a col reliable and somewhat quick car.Also it was viewed as a girl car due to the verts

Mitsu canceled the eclipse and evo bcuz they are moving towards eco friendly/electric cars bcuz most consumers are looking for gas friendly cars. Sadly the 90s are over the days of having inline 6 twin turbo cars , and japanese turbo cars that come super fast from the factory,as well as reliable inline 6 bmw's are over. Now its about small gas friendly cars with emissions becoming stricter.If you want a fast true sport car you have very little options nowadays best bet is to mod a 90s car.

@3Soul3Intent3 I'm selling my 2009 Eclipse GS for $14k. It only has 19K miles and is still under factory warranty. I installed HIDs and interior accent lighting in it. It also has white LED dome lights. Let me know if you're interested. It's silver with black interior and it's an automatic.

your not even close. the reason they do that is so the windows get a good seal with the window trim. and its puts less stress on the window when you close the door
