Hello 👋 From Morocco 🇲🇦 On that historic evening, Lara Fabian took the Adagio to another level.. 😨🎤 " Adagio" It means in Italian "slowly", Lara killed us slowly
Lara is the queen... Absolute intensity !! ... All notes both low and high are "complete" and pure along their entire length... When she sings, her voice fills the entire space, regardless of the volume inside the concert hall. It "becomes one" with the building and its audience "sublimates" the phenomenon as a perfect alchemy... J U S T S T R A T O S P H E R I C !!! 🤩😍🤩❤❤... Many thanks for this grandiose moment... 🤗🙏🤗👏👏
Glad you are enjoying all of our reactions to the great Lara Fabian friend! We already have our next reaction to her recorded. It will be up this week! Can't wait to share it 💚💜
Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonate, concerto or symphony that is using that specific parce. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and give his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music composition and different lyrics (Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance). But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in english and italian for it and is the original performer of this new version. She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration. This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Julie Anne San Jose, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, Evgenia Fanfara, , … They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love. ua-cam.com/video/bqoS-KOLV_4/v-deo.html Her italian version is also amazing. A famous italian version: ua-cam.com/video/qf7xcMN-TYI/v-deo.html Or you can check her recent excellent rendition in Paris early october 2022 ua-cam.com/video/BulgxI-8zj4/v-deo.html
JESS e MIKE è stata bellissima la vostra prima reazione a questa canzone e la seconda volta è impagabile, penso che nessuno si lamentera' se capisce la bellezza di questa musica e la performance di LARA. ciao 👋
I guys, love your reaction To Lara Fabian, YOU MUST REACT TO HER SONG "DITES-MOI POURQUOI JE L'AIME " live, here best technicals performance ever ,its a blues song. Peace and love from Montréal, Québec, Canada 🎶❤🎶🇨🇦
Exelente reacción! Saludos desde Costa Rica! Hermosa obra maestra impresionante de Lara Fabián, la mejor cantante e intérprete del mundo, la voz de cristal más bella y perfecta que existe! Gracias!
Choose the version from 9/11/98 Stade de France, it was pouring rain and it made for a even more dramatic feel. It is probably the most electric duet I’ve ever seen.
Gracias por ésta reaaccion Lara Fabian una de las grandes Tiene tantos temas lindos y también krutoy es su pianista Reaccionen a CARUSO cantando por ella ... Te eriza la piel
I've been loving your reactions to this concert today. However, there are several more songs from this concert you haven't reacted to (one of which is an extra fav of mine). Are you interested in links to them?
I have the CD and this song is the first and last song on the CD, once in English and the original in Italian, co wrote from Lara, now Lara speaks and writes in 5 languages and sings in many more, I love Lara's cover of CARUSO with just the backing of a piano it's pure emotion in her mother's language Italian, just beautiful you should try, it's a shame Lara has not made a lot more CD's in English I love her voice, it's better than Celine sorry, now we have Morissette Amon who is now my favourite singer.
Nice.. I like your reaction guys.. Yes if you want to see more about this great Diva check out "Requiem pour un fou" you will see a different Lara there.. So powerful! And her cover of Barbra Streisand in "Yentl medley". Choose the live version in Montreal 1997.. Eight minutes of pure technique and interpretation. Also her trio with Dimash and Aida "Ti amo così" She also wrote two songs with Igor Krutoy "Mademoiselle Hyde" and "Know - Ascolta la voce" that Dimash covered few year later that are great. And the recent "Par Amour" in 2019.. So touching😢.." video version and solo piano version" Then if you like her singing in Italian 😊 check out her duet with famous italian singer Laura Pausini " La solitudine"
GUYS, you’ve reacted to her as well as Dimash singing Adajio…………NOW it’s time to react to VITAS version of Adajio, which is in original language of Italian, which I’m sure you gonna love it, CUZ his voice just like Dimash has the capability of 7 octaves!!!………….You May react to the variety of Vitas’s songs and see how great he is!
Once again I got fooled. Thought this was a FIRST REACTION! But no... you could watch this over and over... without posting it as "another video". This just made me disappointed.
@kingvii7250 We did our first reaction to this song as a triple reaction to Lara, Dimash, and Floor Jansen all singing it. That video's comment section was filled with negativity towards the other artists, so we deleted it. We weren't going to make another reaction video to this. We went through the rest of From Lara with Love and people demanded we make another reaction to this to complete the concert series. None of our other reactions are like this. We definitely prefer it to be a first time viewing experience. Sorry you felt tricked. Not our intention at all.
As a french guy, i prefer english bands, and the god us guitarist Jimi Hendrix....But, when i see that we have great singer in France and Europe too😂Peace from France ✌️
