She is one of Dimash’s idol’s and he sings this exact song of hers on THE SINGER 2017. This is spectacular. She’s spectacular. For another of her spectacular performances check out JE SUIS MALADE (Montreal 1999 Live).
she sings from her soul to ours, in all her songs, still today at 53yo she is the all time best female vocaliste of this century her voice still mesmerising and she is so gorgeous. Listening to Lara and you are screwed for now and forever..Shes got you..helpless and spellbound..Amazing woman!!
Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonate, concerto or symphony that is using that specific parce. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and give his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music composition and different lyrics (Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance). But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in english and italian for it and is the original performer of this new version. She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration. This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Julie Anne San Jose, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, Evgenia Fanfara, , … They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love. ua-cam.com/video/bqoS-KOLV_4/v-deo.html Her italian version is also amazing. A famous italian version: ua-cam.com/video/qf7xcMN-TYI/v-deo.html Or you can check her recent excellent rendition in Paris early october 2022 ua-cam.com/video/BulgxI-8zj4/v-deo.html

@@ardentynekent2099 she definitely is. Despite its length, the list is not exhaustive, she wrote around 200 songs, made many amazing covers so I had to select a first list and to restrain myself. Many additional gems to discover. For instance here is a young Lara in a Quebec TV show singing snippets of her songs, seated and on demand, as fans call her by phone: ua-cam.com/video/LhWPbpXiGkY/v-deo.html Also I posted only one link per song but Lara has the amazing ability to totally change the way she interprets a song from one tour to the other. Check this other Je suis malade rendition ua-cam.com/video/SyILdRAOS88/v-deo.html It’s even more dramatic than the one the Arab Man reviewed, even more an acting performance.
Once again the very beautiful, very strong but velvety voice of Lara Fabian with endless breath control and her emotional performances. Lara always sings so effortless, no vibrations(vibrato) in her voice, a joy to listen and to look at ... Lara wrote the lyrics in English and in Italian on the old classic music composition : Adagio. Lara sings and recorded Adagio in English and Italian, even a version half English, half Italian. A number of her songs Lara writes the lyrics in 2 or 3 different languages and sings them also in those 2 or 3 languages. I prefer the Italian version , Italian is a more colored language.
Lara Fabian was born gifted with such a talent for singing. PLUS, she was very well trained by the best opera teachers from Belgium and Italy, but she decided to sing pop songs, she also has the knowledge to sing in operatic way, she studied from her 8 to 18 at the Belgium Conservatory of Music (there she learned Bel Canto, piano [she composes her own songs on piano), she started singing professionaly at the age of 15, in 1985, her first video clipe came when she turned 16, in 1986 and her first world wide albilum was releaseat the begin of 1990. Then since 1998 she kept having vocal lessons with a teacher untill nowadays. Lara also works as a vocal coach on The Voice Canada, she already worked as the vocal coach at the Star Academy program in France from 2004 /2008. She speaks fluently and composes in 4 languages (English, Spanish, Italian and French), but she is able to speak and understand a little bit of Russian, Dutch and Portuguese, she already sang live in 12 languages. Thank you.
C'est normal qu'une personne Belge intelligente connaisse plusieurs langues car la Belgique, ce petit pays, a 3 langues que nous apprenons à l'école : le français, le néerlandais et l'allemand
Lara Fabian the most wonderful voice of her generation. My Nr.1 She is just amazing in every way. Love her to death. Thank you for a great reaction.👍👍👍
Oh how friggin exciting!!! Lara Fabian is one of the best female performers out there. I heard you mention Caruso! I am hoping that you will check out her performance of that classic song. I already know how good it is but it's fun to see your reaction ❤
By the way she is Dimash's idol since he is 10yo....he did a lot of covers from her catalogue + she wrote songs for him, she's got motherly love for him.
hello, Lara Fabian sings in more than 12 different languages and is fluent in French, Italian, English and Spanish, her musical repertoire is very varied and covers Barbara Streisand, Whitney Houston, Maria Caray, an exceptional and authentic artist and also a source of inspiration for many young singers like dimash she takes you on these journeys of the heart, of the soul, of the spirit, through the sound of her voice for the time of a song thank you Lara
Except that everybody agrees nowadays that this is not from Albinoni but from Remo Giazzotto who created this masterpiece in 1958. He was an admirer of Albinoni and pretended he created the music based on music sheets from Albinoni that he had discovered. So the music received Albinoni’s name. But he never exposed these music sheets and all specialists now strongly believe they never existed.
You’re absolutly right, she is the best, ‘cause is an all inclusive: beautiful voice, beautiful interpretation , beautiful on stage presence, she is the best story teller
Lara is an amazing singer/song writer, you know there's an English version of this song. It's no wonder Dimash loves/idolizes her. Her voice is amazing and I would love to see her in concert someday. I know she still tours, so maybe soon. You know Lara and Dimash have sung together with another singer Aida Garifullina. Ti Amo Cosi
More information on Lara Fabian: Lara is recognized as one of the best vocalist ever seen on earth and all professionals list her in the top vocalist tier with Barbra, Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Lisa Fischer, .... In my personal opinion, she is even the best. There are a few vocal characteristics that are her signature: her famous resonance for instance that allows her to sing acapella without mic in venues with 8,000 attendees. Her nickname in the singing world is "the ring" due to this. I would also list her amazing phrasing, breath management and her pleasant tone even when belting in her upper register. So she is one of the best vocalist ever, but on top of that, she adds a few things that make her an absolute package with no equivalence: • she speaks 2 languages natively (french, italian), and 2 others fluently (english, spanish), can speak a bit of dutch (and sicilian), and understand quite well russian and portuguese. She has sung in 12 languages in total • she is an amazing songwriter and wrote lyrics for most her songs, in the 4 languages she speaks fluently. She often co-composes the music with the composer. • she acts and performs on stage as nobody else, she colors and reveals the meaning of every single word in the songs, and her ability to emote, to draw you in is second to none • she is the sweetest soul on earth, very humble, down to earth and benevolent. She likes to meet others, and her fans are always pleasantly surprised when this happens. A quick background on her and her career: She is belgian, her father is flemish, but also has italian roots (her mother is from sicilia) and American roots ( her grandfather is from Detroit). She was raised in sicilia first then in Belgium so she speaks both italian and french as native languages. She has been classically trained on vocal, piano and songs composition for 10 years ( from 8 to 18) in the Brussels Royal Conservatory. She is still having vocal lessons and training several times a week today. She started her career in Canada in the early 90s, more precisely in Quebec, the french-speaking part of Canada. She had been living for years in Montreal and has also Canadian citizenship. She just moved Back to Italy a few months ago (temporarily?). She became very famous in Quebec and then conquered France in 1996/1997 (she topped charts there and some of her songs such as "Je t'aime" or "Tout" became classics of the french music). In 2000, she was about to penetrate the US Market, with a lot of media initial interest. Her first english song (I will love again), a pop dance song, stayed number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart for 58 weeks in a row and number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her Album ("Lara Fabian") was about to become a massive hit, and the concert "From Lara With Love" was recorded to be broadcasted everywhere in the US. This concert is legendary, packed with masterpieces (covered by many great vocalists later on). But a dispute with Sony on artistry directions, and the will from Celine Dion's staff to block her progress in the US, completely broke this plan. She thus refocused back on Europe and made huge success there, extending her reach to Eastern Europe and Central Asia where she became an absolute superstar through her collaboration with Igor Krutoy during several years. She is absolutely massive in Russia for instance. She is also a star in Brazil as her song "Love By Grace", used as the soundtrack for a very famous soap opera, topped the charts for months and become a recurrent in the local singing contests since then. Many of her songs became classics and were covered by the other singing legends: Barbra Streisand, Shirley Bassey, Josh Groban (they are friends and he told she is a role model for him), … With her success in Europe, Brazil and part of Asia, she is the inspiration of the new generation of vocalists: most of them are coming from there. Thru their covers of Lara Fabian songs, USA and many other countries are now rediscovering her. She is Dimash's idol: I’ve read somewhere that, when he was a child, he was listening her songs every night to get asleep. He covered many of her songs, most of these were composed by Igor Krutoy and written by by Lara. Out of my mind I can list: ○ Adagio (She wrote it and is the original performer), ○ Mademoiselle Hyde (she wrote it and is the original performer), ○ Love of Tired Swans (she wrote the song in French under the title "Je t'aime encore" and was the original performer of the french then the russian versions, Dimash covered the russian version) ○ Ascolta La Voce / Vocalize (this was a pure vocalization and she was the original performer, then lyrics were added for Dimash and it was rebranded as "Know") She also wrote the lyrics of Dimash's song "Your Love". And she covered "Love is like a dream" before him (song from Igor Krutoy originally performed by Alla Pugacheva). Finally, they also performed "Ti Amo Cosi" together, in trio with Aida Garafulina: this is a song that she performed originally with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Sumi Jo then again later with Dmitri and Alina Yarovaya, before this new trio with Dimash and Aida. Dimash is now also working with Igor Krutoy: Igor and Dimash connected after his Adagio cover, also endorsed by Lara. Igor came back from retirement and composed severals songs for him after it. Many other top vocalists from the current generation covered her songs, some have Lara as a role model and big inspiration: ○ Floor Jansen (Adagio), ○ Polina Gagarina (Adagio, Je t’aime), ○ Diana Ankudinova (Tomorrow is a lie), ○ Morissette Amon (Broken Vow), ○ Gabriel Henrique (Love by Grace), ○ Cakra Khan (Broken Vow), ○ Katrina Velarde (Broken Vow), ○ Regine Velasquez (Broken Vow), ○ Dmitri Hvorostovsky (Adagio), ○ Giulia Falcone (Adagio, Caruso, Je suis malade, Je t'aime), ○ Forestella (Je suis Malade), ○ Almira (from 4th Impact band) (Broken Vow), ○ Gigi de Lana (Broken Vow) ○ Julie Anne san Jose (Adagio, Broken Vow), ○ Rimar ( Adagio, Broken Vow, Know), ○ Il Divo (Adagio) ○ Daria Bentsa (I guess I loved you), ○ Sarah Geronimo (Broken Vow) ○ Laura Bretan ( Adagio, Caruso), ○ Jackie Evancho (Je t’aime, Caruso and Broken Vow, BV rewritten as « Imaginer » by Lara for Jackie), ○ Amir (Je t’aime), ○ Vitas (Adagio), ○ Anastasia Luna (Adagio), ○ Jeck (Je T’Aime), ○ Evgenia Fanfara (Adagio), ○ Anna Eriksson (Je suis malade), ○ Choi Sung Hoon (Je suis malade), ○ Soprano Turetsky band (Adagio) ○ Majda Roumi (Adagio), ○ Harrison Craig (Broken Vow), ○ Petra Berger (Adagio, Broken Vow), ○ Katerina Maslova (Je t’aime, I guess I loved you) ○ Sevara Nazarkhan (Je t’aime) ○ .... NB: Lara did cover Caruso , Je suis malade, and Love by grace, these are not her originals, but I mention these here as the related artists were attracted to cover it again after listening to Lara’s version. Today, Lara still has an amazing voice and tone and can still reach the 5th octave with resonance ; she still offers these emotive renditions that are her unique signature. In June 2022, she kicked off a WW tour and stunned her fans once again with 5 magical concerts in Canada. She completed the europe part in September/October and I attended a concert from this tour. It was packed and she was again spectacular. On April and May 2023 she had again a wonderful concerts in Tbilissi, Georgia, and in Ouzbekhistan and Kazakhstan. Sorry if I was long, but I hope this gives some context on Lara.
@@RichardBourne my great pleasure, I had to omit a few things in this long introduction but you will discover it exploring this rabbit hole. Just one example: she is an incredible vocal coach in Quebec and France (she has been coach in The Voice and Star Academy in these 2 countries). She adores helping young vocalists to make progress and find their artistic lane. She even had the plan until recently of creating a school for vocalists.
I was waiting for this moment ... you meeting Lara fabian .. ♥️ now u should go deep in her classics... je suis malade with English subtitles, then Caruso... From her concert lara with love ... thank u
Thanks for your reaction. I look forward to watching further reactions to Lara, the greatest female voice of her time. Anything from her performance "From Lara with Love" is wonderful, particularly Je suis Malade and Caruso, but there is nothing there that will not blow you away. This performance, although it was great, is pretty tame by comparison.
Greetings from Israel. Love love LOVE your reaction and your thoughts of Lara. She is absolutely, HANDS DOWN, the best female singer on earth! You should check other songs by her: The iconic live performance of "je t'aime" (where she breaks down in tears, cuz the crowd started singing for her), "you're not from here" and "broken vow". Peace and love from jaffa, tel aviv, israel❤
Absolutely the best, 100%!!! Best female performance ever," Je Suis Malade". There's an argument to be made for eliminating the word female. Just best performance ever!!!!
Lara, wrote the English & Italian lyrics at the same time. The instrumental originally goes back 300+ years, being modified numerous times specifically the key’s of this song.
Reacciona por favor a Adagio en inglés, Caruso, You're not from here, Perderé l'amore, Quédate,Je suis malade,Tango,Parce que tu pars, Traviatta Lebedy, Mademoiselle hide, Toccami, Tomorrow is a lie,Tout,Lou,I Guess i loved You! Gracias!
Tanti saluti
Hi Arab Man you have just discovered a small drop in the ocean..... LARA FABIAN's skills are impressive and worth discovering...... over the years she has created many jewels and they are all to be discovered. Many greetings Google translates Rb
Love this reaction, became an instant fan and Subscriber. Gotta love another man actually enjoying and truly appreciating and connecting to all music. Keep ‘em coming my friend. If I may, Lara has some gems that are worth watching such as “je sui malade” - “je t’aime” and “Caruso. You will feel everything … EVERYTHING, even when is different laguanges. Also, Eivor’s “falling free”- live at old Torshavn Theatre, and “wake me up” live RTT. This women will melt you away with their voices and performances!
Mr Arab Man :) I sincerely appreciate your reaction videos and especially the once with Lara Fabian and Angelina Jordan. You bring a lovely .... beautiful and sincere contrast in your reaction to them both, and I tend to feel a deep and common sincerity of your love to music and appreciation for what these 2 amazing musicians are doing for all of us listeners.....including your self beloved Mr Arab Man. Both of them also have the ability to stand on a stage or in front of a camera performing as if it was just an ordinary day in their lives being surrounded by music, breathing music.....almost like our need of air for the rest of us, and they performing it effortless but with such an incredibly passion....love...directly from their Hearts. Like you said....Lara nor Angelina needs that flashy spectacular scenery stuff. Ooooo woow..... this is truly an interesting Music journey and thanks for your super cool funny and sincere way of expressing your self ( being who you are I guess :D ) as well as teaching me new ways of listening to music. Love and respect / Mano
All of her performances from her From Lara With Love show are fire, as she was at the height of her powers and the audio mix is incredible. There is also a duet that she did with the great French singer Johnny Hallyday of the song Requiem Pour Un Fou which is unbelievable.(The one where it rains is the best recording of this)
Love your reaction to Lara's Italian rendition of Adagio which I concur is tremendous. I've been blessed to have seen seen Lara in concert a baker dozen times starting back in the late 90's in Montreal. Many different venues, etc and she is the consummate performer as well as exceptional voice. Thanks again!
Lara is awesome. Fabulous story teller, conveying great emotion. I am patiently waiting for your 2nd reaction to The Warning. Any video from their concert at Teatro Metropolitan is worthy of a reaction.
Great reaction Arab Man. 👍👍👍Lara is the top female vocalist on the planet.🌹🎹🌹 What is even more amazing is how she changes the music for the english version. I understand what you mean because my brain wants her to go up at that point not down. Her 1999 Je suis Malade is God Level. Please never compare her to Celine. It is an insult, like comparing an angel to a snake. 🥰🥰🥰Hugs from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦
She's not my favorite singer, but I admire her so much... To me, she is really the greatest singer I've heard, especially in terms of voice control combined with emotions. There are 2 other performances I love of her: - one is obviously "Je suis malade" from 1999 ua-cam.com/video/dVvlmpo5g9k/v-deo.html (this version has both French and English) - the other one is more about the gut-wrenching experience, "Je t'aime" in Paris ua-cam.com/video/IYnFwUbC9A8/v-deo.html Ah! How could I forget her Duo with Johnny Hallyday "Requiem pour un fou" ua-cam.com/video/zR1rkt_0biA/v-deo.html
لارا بتجنن اجمل صوت بالكون متل ما حضرتك قلت يا ريتها من الاشرفية 😄 She’s one of a kind, extremely rare talent, her voice touches your soul effortlessly! She was suppose to have a concert in Lebanon a decade ago and was cancelled
Lara Fabián is also for me the best female performer I've seen, just as Dimash is the best male singer. But she in interpretation she is not surpassed by anyone. I recommend that you react to "Je suis malade" at the Lara Fabián concert with love, to verify what I say. Greetings from Uruguay. 🇺🇾 Google translate some comments need to shared. Rb
You are absolutely correct concerning her position in the spectrum of female singers. There are few adjectives which can accurately describe her technical prowess and emotional delivery. Correction....the song is Adagio, not Caruso.
I remember her sharing a story about her dad and she tells him that she’s a singer at 5 years old in the car. He runs and tells the mom…your daughter is saying she’s a SINGER!! 🙆🏻♀️🤍🙌🏽🤣. I thought it was AMAZING that she had understood her blessed gift at that age. I love LARA. Thanks for sharing your reaction. Sending you blessings and encouragement. 🙋🏻♀️ N. California
FINALLY!!!!! Lara is a Godess vocalist It doesn´t get better than her You NEED to check all of her stuff! I´d LOVE to watch your reactions to her Je suis malade next ps: Dimash admires her
@@ArabManReacts Ya Habibi, you haven't even seen her do this at her best. lol You NEED NEED NEED to watch her perform "Adagio" when she sang it in English in 2000 at her concert (From Lara With Love). Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics both in English and Italian, to this 18th century melody by Tomaso Albinoni. Dimash also sings the English version of this song but it truly belongs to this goddess.🤯. After that feel free to jump into another song like "Broken Vow" or her Brilliant Italian cover of "Caruso"🔥🤯🤯🔥
Yes and Dimash covered her songs: Adagio, Mademoiselle Hyde, Love of Tired Swans, Know (Ascolta la Voce). They performed together in a trio with Aida Garafulina: Ti Amo Cosi
Lara is Italo-Belgian (father Belgian, mother italien), but she lives in Canada...His real name is Lara Crockaert. She speak Italian, French, English and a bit Russian...and she have 4 octaves 1/2...
Bravo! this performance is incredible. Absolute Masterclass. The vocals, emotions, that orchestra! Magnifique! I love Her sensitivity to the emotion of the song is unparalleled
She's not only a singer, she's a song writer. Thanks for your reaction
She is one of Dimash’s idol’s and he sings this exact song of hers on THE SINGER 2017. This is spectacular. She’s spectacular. For another of her spectacular performances check out JE SUIS MALADE (Montreal 1999 Live).
Her English version just as breathtaking. I love Dimash version ❤
I simply love this woman. I can’t stop watching and listen to her songs. Indeed, she is the best female singer to me too.
she sings from her soul to ours, in all her songs, still today at 53yo she is the all time best female vocaliste of this century her voice still mesmerising and she is so gorgeous. Listening to Lara and you are screwed for now and forever..Shes got you..helpless and spellbound..Amazing woman!!
Arab,,man I agree with you. I can't believe, I never heard of her before. she is definitely the best. Thank
Not envious, just grateful that she exists. She is mesmerizing. ❤
You are so right. She's the best of all...by far
This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Dmitri
Hvorostovsky, Julie Anne San Jose, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, Evgenia Fanfara, , …
They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love.

Her italian version is also amazing. A famous italian version:

Thank you for this list.I will listen to them all.❤
Thanks, @ericsicard, for the exhaustive links. Helps the channel, helps me. Isn’t she amazing?!
@@ardentynekent2099 she definitely is. Despite its length, the list is not exhaustive, she wrote around 200 songs, made many amazing covers so I had to select a first list and to restrain myself. Many additional gems to discover.
For instance here is a young Lara in a Quebec TV show singing snippets of her songs, seated and on demand, as fans call her by phone: ua-cam.com/video/LhWPbpXiGkY/v-deo.html
Also I posted only one link per song but Lara has the amazing ability to totally change the way she interprets a song from one tour to the other.

It’s even more dramatic than the one the Arab Man reviewed, even more an acting performance.
That's a wonderful reaction, thank you. Yes, Lara is really incredible and there is so much more of her to discover for you.
She is amazing! I love her voice.
She’s got a heavenly voice!! Great reaction Boudy! I enjoy watching your anxiety and everything else sufferings during from beginning to end.😅
Lara in his "prime time"...and so beatiful ❤
When she hits those emotional notes I am a basket case. LOVE LARA!!!!! So blessed to have caught her live in the summer....
Oh how friggin exciting!!! Lara Fabian is one of the best female performers out there. I heard you mention Caruso! I am hoping that you will check out her performance of that classic song. I already know how good it is but it's fun to see your reaction ❤
You are SO So Right, Man ! The best female singer on the PIlanet !!!#
By the way she is Dimash's idol since he is 10yo....he did a lot of covers from her catalogue + she wrote songs for him, she's got motherly love for him.
The best singer is correct! I agree 100%
Lara is the perfect artist! ❤
Lara's just one of the best performers in the World ❤
Lara is fantastic. She exudes music from the center of her soul.
You should view the one she did at the "From Laura With Love" concert few years before this one...mind boggling!!! Thanks Boudy.
One of the greats! Love love love Lara!
Lara, é a melhor cantora do nosso universo musical!
Thanks for react!
eu amo q sempre tem um BR nos comentários de todo e qualquer video do youtube kkkkk
we're everywhere guys
hello, Lara Fabian sings in more than 12 different languages and is fluent in French, Italian, English and Spanish, her musical repertoire is very varied and covers Barbara Streisand, Whitney Houston, Maria Caray, an exceptional and authentic artist and also a source of inspiration for many young singers like dimash she takes you on these journeys of the heart, of the soul, of the spirit, through the sound of her voice for the time of a song thank you Lara
It is Lara's song, the instruments follow her, and she holds the entire delivery of the song. She is something out of this world.
Keep doing more Lara reactions please!! You will fall in love! ❤❤
This beautiful melody is based on Baroque composer Albinoni’s “ Adagio”. ❤Lara is phenomenal!!!
Epic. Masterpiece. Period. 😊
I also think the same thing, that she is the best singer in the world, just hearing her voice excites me, no other has achieved it, it is tremendous
You’re absolutly right, she is the best, ‘cause is an all inclusive: beautiful voice, beautiful interpretation , beautiful on stage presence, she is the best story teller
What a wonderfully delightful surprise on a Wednesday afternoon! Thank you Boudy for sharing this light bearer of music with your audience. Rb
Ti Amo Cosi
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!??? Yes, Lara The Incomparable. Each and every song a Master Class. Dive in - but hold onto your heart!
Every performance is a masterclass in performance, technique and voice.
Thankyou for your reaction and recognising what an amazing artist Lara is
More information on Lara Fabian:
Lara is recognized as one of the best vocalist ever seen on earth and all professionals list her in the top vocalist tier with Barbra, Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Lisa Fischer, ....
So she is one of the best vocalist ever, but on top of that, she adds a few things that make her an absolute package with no equivalence:
• she speaks 2 languages natively (french, italian), and 2 others fluently (english, spanish), can speak a bit of dutch (and sicilian), and understand quite well russian and portuguese. She has sung in 12 languages in total
• she is an amazing songwriter and wrote lyrics for most her songs, in the 4 languages she speaks fluently. She often co-composes the music with the composer.
• she acts and performs on stage as nobody else, she colors and reveals the meaning of every single word in the songs, and her ability to emote, to draw you in is second to none
• she is the sweetest soul on earth, very humble, down to earth and benevolent. She likes to meet others, and her fans are always pleasantly surprised when this happens.
A quick background on her and her career:
She is belgian, her father is flemish, but also has italian roots (her mother is from sicilia) and American roots ( her grandfather is from Detroit).
She just moved
Back to Italy a few months ago (temporarily?).
Many of her songs became classics and were covered by the other singing legends: Barbra Streisand, Shirley Bassey, Josh Groban (they are friends and he told she is a role model for him), …
With her success in Europe, Brazil and part of Asia, she is the inspiration of the new generation of vocalists: most of them are coming from there.
Thru their covers of Lara Fabian songs, USA and many other countries are now rediscovering her.
She is Dimash's idol:
I’ve read somewhere that, when he was a child, he was listening her songs every night to get asleep.
He covered many of her songs, most of these were composed by Igor Krutoy and written by by Lara.
Out of my mind I can list:
○ Adagio (She wrote it and is the original performer),
○ Mademoiselle Hyde (she wrote it and is the original performer),
○ Love of Tired Swans (she wrote the song in French under the title "Je t'aime encore" and was the original performer of the french then the russian versions, Dimash covered the russian version)
○ Ascolta La Voce / Vocalize (this was a pure vocalization and she was the original performer, then lyrics were added for Dimash and it was rebranded as "Know")
She also wrote the lyrics of Dimash's song "Your Love".
Many other top vocalists from the current generation covered her songs, some have Lara as a role model and big inspiration:
○ Floor Jansen (Adagio),
○ Polina Gagarina (Adagio, Je t’aime),
○ Diana Ankudinova (Tomorrow is a lie),
○ Morissette Amon (Broken Vow),
○ Gabriel Henrique (Love by Grace),
○ Cakra Khan (Broken Vow),
○ Katrina Velarde (Broken Vow),
○ Regine Velasquez (Broken Vow),
○ Dmitri Hvorostovsky (Adagio),
○ Giulia Falcone (Adagio, Caruso, Je suis malade, Je t'aime),
○ Forestella (Je suis Malade),
○ Almira (from 4th Impact band) (Broken Vow),
○ Gigi de Lana (Broken Vow)
○ Julie Anne san Jose (Adagio, Broken Vow),
○ Rimar ( Adagio, Broken Vow, Know),
○ Il Divo (Adagio)
○ Daria Bentsa (I guess I loved you),
○ Sarah Geronimo (Broken Vow)
○ Laura Bretan ( Adagio, Caruso),
○ Jackie Evancho (Je t’aime, Caruso and Broken Vow, BV rewritten as « Imaginer » by Lara for Jackie),
○ Amir (Je t’aime),
○ Vitas (Adagio),
○ Anastasia Luna (Adagio),
○ Jeck (Je T’Aime),
○ Evgenia Fanfara (Adagio),
○ Anna Eriksson (Je suis malade),
○ Choi Sung Hoon (Je suis malade),
○ Soprano Turetsky band (Adagio)
○ Majda Roumi (Adagio),
○ Harrison Craig (Broken Vow),
○ Petra Berger (Adagio, Broken Vow),
○ Katerina Maslova (Je t’aime, I guess I loved you)
○ Sevara Nazarkhan (Je t’aime)
○ ....
Thank you Eric for educating so many, including myself, with the context of this global treasure. yours in music Rb

Thanks for your extensive information!👌🙏 Hans Tan, Administrator of the “Lara Fabian the Netherlands “ Page
My first time hearing her perform Adagio in Italian, so beautiful. Thank you for sharing ❤.
You should check other songs by her:
The iconic live performance of "je t'aime" (where she breaks down in tears, cuz the crowd started singing for her), "you're not from here" and "broken vow".
Peace and love from jaffa, tel aviv, israel❤
Absolutely the best, 100%!!! Best female performance ever," Je Suis Malade". There's an argument to be made for eliminating the word female. Just best performance ever!!!!
You’re probably right!
Lara, wrote the English & Italian lyrics at the same time. The instrumental originally goes back 300+ years, being modified numerous times specifically the key’s of this song.
Lara Fabian ❣
Never disappoints

I love your interpretation of her….she is amazing!
TY....she is a Queen in 12 languages. Planet earth and beyond - lol.
Great reaction, you hit the nail on the head, she amazing.

C'est une femme avec une voix extraordinaire. Le chant est le cri de l'âme
Such a Diva!
Incredible woman, incredible soul....
I love Lara Fabián
well said. Her voice and her soul are unique. And it's not a case that she loves Dimash and they sing together. And she write song for Him :-)
Mujer divina, con un talento privilegiado... adoro sus canciones en cualquier idioma. Pero la que más me hace llorar es Broken Vow... 😢😢
Gracias por reaccionar a tan bella mujer !!
I love Lara. More please
She is simply the best......period....
What a talent! OMG
Lara es asombrosa, su voz potente y dulce, su interpretación magnífica.
Hay muchas más canciones donde muestra todo su potencial.
she is more than brilliant!
It's higher than she usually sings. That's why she seems reserved.
You should have played her english version. From Lara with love
Ciao Uomo Arabo hai appena scoperto una piccola goccia nel mare..... le abilità di LARA FABIAN sono impressionanti e vale la pena di scoprirle......negli anni ha creato tanti gioielli e sono tutti da scoprire. Tanti saluti
Hi Arab Man you have just discovered a small drop in the ocean..... LARA FABIAN's skills are impressive and worth discovering...... over the years she has created many jewels and they are all to be discovered. Many greetings Google translates Rb
Sono completamente d'accordo, Lara è un fenomeno mondiale inimitabile, meravigliosa. Immensa Lara
Your comment about her being an instrument with the orchestra was not only spot on but it was a beautiful compliment to her ❤
All of her performances from her From Lara With Love show are fire, as she was at the height of her powers and the audio mix is incredible. There is also a duet that she did with the great French singer Johnny Hallyday of the song Requiem Pour Un Fou which is unbelievable.(The one where it rains is the best recording of this)
you have found the Queen. Everything from her From Lara with Love concert is equal to this too, Enjoy, and she is the best.
She's absolutely outstanding and you're sooo true, She's absolutely the best female singer ❤
If you wat to hear how emotional she can bring a song then you must listen to Je Suis Malade
Lara is awesome. Fabulous story teller, conveying great emotion. I am patiently waiting for your 2nd reaction to The Warning. Any video from their concert at Teatro Metropolitan is worthy of a reaction.
Great Reaction 👍🙏👣
Great reaction Arab Man. 👍👍👍Lara is the top female vocalist on the planet.🌹🎹🌹
What is even more amazing is how she changes the music for the english version.
Thank you for saying all you did, too!! xxoo
She's not my favorite singer, but I admire her so much... To me, she is really the greatest singer I've heard, especially in terms of voice control combined with emotions.
There are 2 other performances I love of her:
- one is obviously "Je suis malade" from 1999 ua-cam.com/video/dVvlmpo5g9k/v-deo.html (this version has both French and English)
- the other one is more about the gut-wrenching experience, "Je t'aime" in Paris ua-cam.com/video/IYnFwUbC9A8/v-deo.html
Ah! How could I forget her Duo with Johnny Hallyday "Requiem pour un fou" ua-cam.com/video/zR1rkt_0biA/v-deo.html
The snake in question is you piece of crap not Celine
Stay pressed and bitterly jealous that Lara is a Celine fan

Go to listen version Lara live in concert Lara for love ❣️
She was pregnant at this moment. I think 5th or 6th month of her first and only child, she was 37 years back then. 💜
I agree- Lara Fabian is the greatest female vocalist.
لارا بتجنن اجمل صوت بالكون متل ما حضرتك قلت يا ريتها من الاشرفية 😄
She’s one of a kind, extremely rare talent, her voice touches your soul effortlessly!
She was suppose to have a concert in Lebanon a decade ago and was cancelled
Hahahahahahahahaha min koon jeeran! I hope they bring her back. I feel she could could do something amazing with someone like Guy Mankoukian.
@@ArabManReacts that will be Epic! Emotional and Energy earthquake explosion 💥
Rb
Insuperabile melodia italiana! E grandissima artista!❤
You are absolutely correct concerning her position in the spectrum of female singers. There are few adjectives which can accurately describe her technical prowess and emotional delivery. Correction....the song is Adagio, not Caruso.
Yes,when she sing Malada ❤❤❤❤❤
I remember her sharing a story about her dad and she tells him that she’s a singer at 5 years old in the car. He runs and tells the mom…your daughter is saying she’s a SINGER!! 🙆🏻♀️🤍🙌🏽🤣. I thought it was AMAZING that she had understood her blessed gift at that age. I love LARA. Thanks for sharing your reaction. Sending you blessings and encouragement. 🙋🏻♀️ N. California
FINALLY!!!!! Lara is a Godess vocalist

ps: Dimash admires her
The very best person....
And she said in an interview she is just a songwriter with a voice 😁😁😁😁😁😁
So humble
She is an angelical singer. Love Lara .
She made a lirycs to Your love, a song sang by Dimash. They are angels on Earth
