Great .. what's the name of the connection you make between the parts of the "Nav-Mesh" that are not connected; I meant those green arrows, how do I configure them?
This was a great vid to watch. Educational and relaxing at the same time. Criminally underrated channel with some great talented people. Game looks great much love and respect from Canada
Sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know of a method to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Arturo Khari thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
What tool do you use to extend and edit shape and form of objects from the library? Like when you were making that stone wall you were dragging across the wall?
Its the best level design video I have seen ever... it gives me ghost bumps. I really wanted to be a level designer but I am only good at failing. Guess I am not that creative to be a designer.
These video are so helpful. Thanks so much for uploading this. Definitely will pick up your game, if for no other reason than how helpful these vids have been for my own learning & projects :D That said, the game does look like a lot of fun!
This could be the best speed level design and level art I've seen. Great work. Out of interest, is it the enemies who need ledge-jumping aid added to the navmesh?
What is the tool used for making the cliffs ? It seems really easy to use, it's like it is instancing cliff objects along a path, so you only have to draw the path of the cliff
in the video, 16:26 min there was a function that increased the asset and 15:52 min looks like that seemed to be photographed rather than applying texture to the asset. What function did you use?
I love these types of videos, keep them coming. :) How is development going?
Thanks! Development is going great, though it's still in the early stages.
how much time does it take you to do this? Great Job!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks! It was somewhere around two days :)
@@MyrkurGames 2 days?? how long has this been your profession?
@@indigosoul5059 for around 4 years now :)
What the eff u guys love this so much
awesome video bro thanks

Hey so we use "nav link Proxy" to set the location of the points in a "smart nav link"

Thanks so much you really help me out :D

hey, we are spawning, and deforming, meshes along a spline
Nossa é muito interessante um desenvolvimento de jogos

Thanks! happy to hear that our video's are helping :)
Very helpful as a UE noob, thanks!
Amazing job, you put so much pressure with your skills haha
To be honest, we pressure ourselves with each-other's skills too. Maybe that's what team-work is really all about?
Looks amazing, keep them coming!
amazing work
Wish level design wasn't my weakest point :l
Does anyone else think megascans models looks so much better in UE then blender.
Unreal's lighting engine has always been top-tier, and the assets benefit so much from that. Now with UE5, it'll be even better!
Awesome, really cool!
This could be the best speed level design and level art I've seen. Great work.
Out of interest, is it the enemies who need ledge-jumping aid added to the navmesh?
It is, yes! The whole navmesh is just for the non-player characters.
What is the tool used for making the cliffs ? It seems really easy to use, it's like it is instancing cliff objects along a path, so you only have to draw the path of the cliff
Its a simple spline BP that spawns meshes along its path and then aligns them onto it
@@MyrkurGames ok, thanks :)
sir do you guys use megascans for your games
We proudly do! Here's a video where our level designer breaks down his process while using Megascans! ua-cam.com/video/aneOVc7DrUM/v-deo.html

15:52 Those are decals
I wish Kansas City Missouri had a branch of you guys studio here for me!
What is the block out tool that you use?
This is all done through the Unreal Editor :)
@@MyrkurGames Awesome! do you just have a different colored material for the orange?
Is this level design... Or is it just "make pretty map" simulator?
Ah, I caught the 2 seconds of design in the video. "Put bad guys here to fight"
