I love the Aerobie open disc. It is “dangerous” for a backyard just because it goes so far so easily. In a small area, you have to throw gentle, but in a large area, NOTHING will go farther.
It is also very easy to catch.
    Best frisbee/disc ever.

Ultra star is by far the best for ultimate and just random throwing. It has the best shape, size, and weight. Any time i use another brand of frisbee i am annoyed by how it flies different and how the lip is a different length and width. Sure it's probably a nitpicky gripe but i have never liked any frisbee as much as the ultrastar, and whenever we play i make sure to have an ultra star in case someone someone only brings a different one. And yes it'll wobble but that's good.

Who hasn't brought out a new Aerobie ring and lost it almost immediately?

Good video. Those aerobee rings fly forever. i remember the first time i got one many years ago, took it out and it kept rising over 2 soccer ball fields. had to be 300 yards +. Very entertaining but definitely not for backyard use. Your lawn looks great! Any ideas on "how to" for lawn care?

+lysippus You know, asking a nerd like me a question is like feeding an entire roll of quarters to a juke box... it's going to play for hours. :-) I'll try to keep it short.
The first step is start with good sod. I put in something called Medallion II with Bonsai. It's supposed to be low growing so you don't have to mow so much. Yeah. Right. During summer it needs mowing twice a week. What I like about it is that it stays green all year 'round.
Next: don't mow it too close. Most grasses need at least two inches of height to have enough green area to be healthy. I keep mine at 2.5 inches.
Stay on top of the weeds. Once they get a foot hold they can be almost impossible to get back under control.
I prefer using a 16-16-16 fertilizer rather than the ultra high nitrogen fertilizers pushed for lawns. All that extra nitrogen can induce heavy green growth at the cost of weakened root systems.
Finally, water deep. This last one is a problem for most people because their lawns are on sloping ground. I laser leveled my backyard before laying the sod. There are no high spots that dry out and no low spots that get too much water. This lets me leave the sprinklers on long enough to saturate the top six inches or more of soil, typically 2.5 inches of water. Deep watering encourages deep roots so the plant have access to nutrients from a lot more soil.
I hope this helps. Thanks for commenting!

I laughed when I saw the Innova Boss in the lineup. That's my favorite distance driver in disc golf, and you're right about it needing to be thrown hard. To get a decently straight flight with it you need to throw it somewhere near 60mph.
I like the Aerobie Superdisc for catch because of the soft rim, and you can pop the dome down and/or throw it upside down to get some really wacky flights

On that first disc where you describe it turning to the right unless you throw at an angle, you've basically discovered what disc golfers call a hyzer flip. Adding the foam to rim makes the disc more stable because of more weight at the rim.
Another disc that I don't think existed yet when you made this video is the Innova Makani. It's smaller than the Ultrastar, but glides so nicely in the air. It's a great backyard catch disc

4:40 *this ISNT frisbee.* It's a totally different thing, called discgolf disc. Discgolf discs were never supposed to be catched, especially this one. Its like putting the athletic discus in this comparison.

When I was a youth leader for my church's youth group I had a group of boys who were all athletes ... except one. The poor kid, he grew up mostly without his father around and by age 12-13 had never learned to throw or catch anything or even ride a bike. He wouldn't play catch with anyone because he was both embarrassed by his ineptitude and afraid of being hurt by whatever the object was.
One spring I gave him an Aeribie Superdisc, which I regard as the best "frisbee" money can buy because it's easy to throw, easy to catch, and softer to the touch. Over the summer he threw that Aerobie Superdisc back and forth with his little brother and became decent enough at throwing it that he wasn't shy about playing catch with our group of junior varsity athletes.
Aerobie also makes a really good coffee press.

Remember, the Aerobee Pro (the bee which was just a ring) is perfect for the beach. It’s designed to be unaffected by cross winds.

Is it possible you could make a video of you making some creations from the Joe Freedman's Amazing Cycloid Drawing Machine? Either way, love your videos.

+Matrix Panda Joe's uploaded a dozen videos showing his machine making a variety of images. Just search for "cycloid drawing machine" and you'll find many of them. Here's one example: ua-cam.com/video/EhKuFq8lKYE/v-deo.html&nohtml5=False.

+Wayne Schmidt your video's are for a relatively small group of people because of the in depth content, that is something i and your 5000+ well deserved subs enjoy but i think if you make more different type's of video's you will get more subs.
