Too bad Dkayed only streams once a week. It would be fun to see a tournament on the Legend Anthology event. Anything besides sweaty meta decks would be a breath of fresh air
Lol, the Legend Anthology sucked ass. Nobody wants to watch a tournament of 10 minute combos that rarely achieve much, but can't be stopped because so many hand-traps were banned.
I really have no interest in watching Galaxy Eyes combos over & over again. Already saw enough of that during the event.

The Legend Anthology was one of the worst events in recent history. Far too many hand-traps were banned and playing that event was just painful. I literally had to set up videos to watch or have things to read because every match took forever because you could rarely stop combos.
When Contact C is a top tier hand-trap, the event is trash.

That is why harpie is in the current event. It could break the backrow snake eye revives and set cards from the deck. I saw a deck with tri brigade and you can summon like 5+ with 1 combo, bc the harpie link can be summoned and you not use your normal summon but can activate the harpie cards like the dragon to draw/search extra to going +1 every effect.

too much handtrap it's annoying, need to ban all these handtrap asap and errata all generic boss monster with a line like exemple :

You just can't play into a dytron board, you specifically need to hard draw the out to start playing.

@geekdom101 keep in mind that Gohan has not used ssj2 since he learned ultimate. Giving goku and the writers the benefit of the doubt, He may be referring to stacking the ssj multiplier with the ultimate form

I cry about branded, that deck has too much recursion. And I play branded irl. Tht archetype won't die. My locals, snakes eyes and branded atm.
I don't mind branded but it does get boring seeing it all the time.

The last time I played this game, I played the paper version and when the coolest cards were the three god cards from the anime. The links and card combos in this game is so incredibly horrifying.
😂😂😂Luckily I played Duel Links before getting into MD (DL is easier, and much more simple but takes months to grind for a meta deck while in MD it takes up to around 2 weeks on new accounts)

Coming from someone who watched the whole thing, Shifter and D.D. Crow did fine. The problem is attacking the monsters on their field does little compared to going after their GY or backrow directly. And someone playing the mirror takes advantage of that in a pretty interesting way...

57:26 I wish Pak would play his infernoble deck in meta weekly. Dude is a monster at that deck. I played it for the link event and it’s very complicated. Does lose shifter and maxx c but that is most decks
doesnt even lose to maxx c that badly since you can just ash, called by or crossout. if you dont have those you go into bagooska. if you cant do that and you have an equip in your hand you can just droll yourself. I really love this deck :)

@@theguy_lpgimpact71it hard loses to Maxx C resolving. Unless you open super lucky, the Bagooska line you’re talking about is 5 draws. You could argue Apollousa but even that’s at least 3.
I love the deck, but the primary reason only one made it top 16 despite how well it plays going first and into boards, is because it can’t set up anything meaningful under Maxx C.
Laughs in the face of Droll, Imperm/Veiler, Ash, for sure. But Maxx C is basically draw the out or pass.
@@aviatinggamer9051it’s a not a good Maxx c play. Summoning Bagooska would give 5 draw because you have to go though Isolde to get there.
@@Kintaku True but thats why we should be running at least 12 handtraps, incase we have to pass. However, main deck space is so tight. The bamboo package and Maxx C tax really limits the decks non engine space.

I gotta say though they need to hit the snake eye deck asap with nerfs it is so dumb and busted, here is my suggestions/opinions:
1.limit snake eye ash and poplar to 2
2. Make snake eye ash and poplars effects "can only use 1 effect once per turn". This would make that stupid snake eye ash [SR] card not a 1 card full board of synchros and graveyard full and set with link cards combo 🤮 they will have to choose do i bring a poplar to my hand or do i use it to make a flamberge.
Same with poplar i feel if u special summon it with its effect you shouldn't be allowed to then set a card from the deck with it, i think placing poplar in field zone after graveyard is acceptable since thats not very powerful and its at least a [UR] card.
3. Flambergs moving cards to zones effect should be limited "once per turn during "your" main phase 1". At the moment it can move your boss monster cards to the backrow making it usless trash and then after they end the turn they can instantly reborn it to their field 😂 that is probably the most overpowered boss monster effect in master duel, its stronger then kashtira arise heart's effect in my opinion. Keeping its secondary effect is respectable since thats the whole vibe and point of this deck, Defence from constant resurrection of lvl 1 fires and then using them as link fodder during your turn.
1. The only suggestion of yours worth considering. I'd even consider limiting Poplar to 1 (a lot of people play it at 2 cards instead of 3 anyway, so the limit to 2 wouldn't do much). If Poplar is limited to 1, banishing it would severely hurt the recursion. That change alone might be enough to take Snake-Eyes down the necessary notch. Ash to 2 would prob bring it to a healthy level.
2. They're not gonna errata cards that are this new and are pretty fine / well used in TCG/OCG lol... Aside from that, if they made Ash/Oak/Poplar into "only one effect per turn", the deck would instantly drop to obscurity and almost no one would play it cause you can't properly combo turn 1 / 2 unless you draw godlike and your opponent has nothing to interrupt
3. What? I don't even get what you're saying. Flamberge currently can only move cards to the backrow during YOUR Main Phase. Yes, you can also do it during MP2, but 98% of the time you'll use it during MP1 anyway. If they changed it to MP1 only, it'd still play out the same way. They move a card to the backrow, attack, Draw Phase on Opp turn they summon it to their field.
i played poplar at 1 bc i was really excited to play snake eye. not fun times. i think that and maybe a semi on diabell and wanted could be a nice push down but still allow it to cook. maybe flamberge to 1 to disallow playing through nib and high advantage ash oak plays. i think the meta rn is rly fun tho but i have every top deck

Well, they are design not to be Tier 0 unlike Tearlaments. That's ok in my book as long they don't combo off too much during your turn. Purrely deck usage have also dropped down quite a bit these days.

I think the Snake Eyes mirror is boring because their plays are very linear. The grind game can be kind of boring since they usually bring everything out turn 1. I prefer a Branded/Tearlament mirror since the endboards tend to try and counter the opponent instead of just the same endboard time and time again.

This game has become very repetitive.. same decks with same boards doing the same moves... for the amount of cards available on YGO there really isn't any form of variety anymore
Cause konami banned/limit previous metas. Full power tearlaments, kashtira, spright, runick in the current meta would've been an interesting sight.
Its because Konami keeps releasing cards causing tier 0 decks. Its been like this for months.
I blame generic extra deck. Snake eyes is a cool archetype but it's the use of generic boss monsters that makes it feel bland. It feels like most decks are doing "now look how I make my Baronne de fleur and Apollo"
@@MagicMeowmix I think it's also one of the main issues. There's no more deck type boss monsters and even rare to see archetype specific bosses. all older decks had custom cards that didn't mix well with other decks. There's over 10,000 cards to choose from and they all lead to Baronne, Zues or Apollo. Or now, all 3
