How to Lift your Nissan Patrol the Right Way

I bought a complete 4" lift kit for my GU patrol a few months back and decided to install it whilst waiting to get the head for my TD42 back from the machine shop.
Please keep in mind this kit may not be legal everywhere and you should check before making the commitment.
The Ironman 4x4 kit included front and rear springs and shocks, upper and lower rear trailing arms, sway bar links, castor plates, brake lines and a bunch of hardware.
I bought a steering damper separately also from Ironman 4x4.
This job is not without its challenges, but can be done by the DIYer with a bit of patience and a whole lotta pushing, shoving, lifting, drilling and sweating.
