I remember watching your reaction to Rebels S1:E1, and I was thinking, "Ugh, it's going to take so long for him to get up to date with all these characters and their stories", and here we are now!
I didnt think Thrawn was that big a deal either...until I watched a compilation of clips featuring only Thrawn and his mentions. It was a reminder that the only reason the Rebels won the battle of Lothal was because Thrawn left for Corucant and the rebs took advantage. If not for that Thrawn would have won. Their fear isn't misplaced.
Not only that, but he would have won the race against Krennic giving the Empire a fleet of TIE Defenders. That would have put the Imperial Fleet in a superior position against the Rebel Fleet.
The "Heir to the Empire" line was a homage to the original Thrawn trilogy of books by Timothy Zahn. He created Thrawn's character for those books and he became a fan favorite. The first book is titled Heir to The Empire. As for the forming of the First Order, it's explained in the canon books and comics that it was the self-appointed Grand Admiral Rae Sloane who managed to unite all the small factions of the Imperial Remnant, first wanting to lead the First Order down a more moderate path similar to the early days of the Empire where they still had many things left from the Republic. Then a more extreme wing within the First Order took power. The biggest threat Thrawn poses - apart from his own skill and knowledge - is his Napoleonic method of nurturing potential when he sees it and putting those capable people into positions of power where they are the most useful. So if he united the Imperial warlords, the New Republic will have a much harder fight at its hands than the Rebellion did against a bloated and nepotistic Empire. Most of the Rebellion's successes were due to the general ineptitude of most of the officers in the Imperial Navy. If those positions are filled by people of skill, there will be no weak points in the system to exploit. Exactly, how did Ahsoka not see that droid? XD When you think about it, Huyang was a training droid for the Jedi Order so it's no wonder he knows forms of combat. Remember how he trained Sabine in lightsaber forms in the previous episode. For a hyperspace jump this long, the normal one set of coordinates isn't enough. Each hyperdrive needs to have its own end point so they can more easily maintain direction with more reference points. To be fair, Baylan IS a Jedi Master. He probably has a lot more experience than Ahsoka. Ahsoka is the literally fallen Jedi XD
they didn't really say but seems like ahsoka Is somewhat responsible for what happened.. Maybe something related I'd like to think her family survived Or at least some of them If it was the purge That would be cool if she finds out from Bokatan Because there were survivors
Yeah, it’s implied the situtation was the same as the jedi not wanting Anakin to go back and free his mom, and she died of course cause he was too late, only by a month. The jedi should just have freed all the slaves on Tatooine, the hutts are no threat to the jedi, though in clone wars they wanted to have the huts on their side, stupid, just deatroy them and the other syndicates, and stop all crime in the underworld.
@@Pinkielover I was thinking more like Sabine wanting to fight and Ahsoka saying her training was not complete thus preventing her to go help Mandalore. Or something like that, that would fit Baylan's phrase that her Master didn't trust her.
Two things to notice Anakin has Darth Vaders lightsaber two part of Vader’s theme plays near the end not sure where this is heading but I’m excited to see how all this plays out and your reaction to it Have a good day man and remember the force will be with you always
In Legends, Thrawn was a master tactician and almost managed to restore the Imperial strength, through the use of cloned soldiers and an insane cloned Jedi Master. He also came very close to achieving his goals in his trilogy, if not for the efforts of smugglers aiding the New Republic.
Some of the other UA-camrs have pointed out that the lightsaber hilt on Anakin's belt is Vader's red blade. If this is Anakin, he might still have a little Vader in him still.
Given what happened to Mandalore based on the Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett it's very likely Sabine's family did die during the time time skip between now and Rebels.
They've all been pretty great , Like I said earlier in a different chat episodes one and two should've been put together as one episode, 3 and 4 should've been one episode, That means we would be on episode three not episode five
Awesome episode! Anakin talks to her as she is dead, saying he didn't expect her so soon. Maybe, along with Indiana Jones, there's another grand franchise thing going on here, with all the dying thing, one that cannot be named because I think you said you've never seen.
she's seeing Anakin Like she did when she last saw him Season 7 episode 9 of the clone wars When she said good luck ... Let all the speculations begin that's why I love Star Wars it brings the community and gets people talking.. Next episode is getting a limited theatrical release to Check your local theaters if you're interested.. But yeah the possibilities are endless now what's going to happen.. But I'd like to think that Ezra saves Sabine Will they show it Will he show up... I'm pretty sure the next episode is gonna have thrawn in it.. Where might just be totally just Hayden going through the different time windows Who knows... My problem with the series episode one and two should've been one episode, Three and four should've been one episode.. So we have more Star Wars in the end because we're only getting 8 And it's gonna be years before we see any new live action Star Wars.. But yes I love all the episode so far That's my only problem with it

Great reaction! Apparently Sabine's family died in the Mandalorian purge and, judging by Baylan's words, it might have been the reason for their rift.
