There is some really good cinematography in this series, my favourite one is the use of the sun and a bright light that is linked to every huge shift in cassian's life and his growth as a person. For example when he got rescued by Marva, or now with Luthen and of course his last moments alive. So watch out for these little visual cues, there are everywhere!
the warehouse fight is one of the best action sequences we've seen yet, and it's just a taste of what's to come. Andor, like Luke after him, has just taken his first step into a larger galaxy, and we get to see the amazing worldbuilding this show provides. Glad you're enjoying it, and I'm looking forward to the future episodes and seeing the staggering heights this show achieves.
It's a shame that none of the rest of Disney Wars series can come close. Hold so much more weight and the attention to the details of the fights are so far above the rest.
I love how this series goes. "Set Up, Build Up, Payoff", for each story arc. Although, the IS a "transition" episode in there at one point (I won't say when). Having been an avid reader for much of my life, I appreciate "long form storytelling", as long as it's interesting. And boy, is THIS series interesting! Season 2, unlike Season 1 will take place over 4 years (4 BBY to Rogue One/A New Hope). But I hope it uses the same format of "Set Up, Build Up, Payoff" rather than just rush through events. 2:00 - No, they are jaundiced because of some sort of gas that was released when the ship crashed. Look at Episode 2, when the kids approached the ship, there was a yellowish gas coming out of the hatch where one of the bodies was.

Finally, someone mentioning the shell shock bit. I think that it was such a cool little detail, but no one seemed to really care about it. But anyway, I'm curious, thoughts on the first sh*t in on-screen Star Wars? Some people have mixed feelings about it, so I'm curious where you stand
IMO the three episodes were intitially one longer premiere episode and they decided later to have 3 episodes for a "longer" season. IMO the ship crew died from some sort of coolant leak done by sabotage of Maarva and Clem. There was yellow gas leaking when the kids arrived and was disappating. This show is showing us stuff that interests me more than the Jedi and Sith now, much like Rogue One did. Great reaction.
Cassian is the only one there from Kenari, hence why he's the only person in Star Wars with a Spanish/Latino accent

I loved Rogue One for its gritty look at the other players in the conflict besides the Jedi, and this show follows suit.
