if kawasaki made a retro zx7 that looks like the original it would sell with todays power and suspension now that is a retro i would buy. hell a zx6 that looks like ZX7 ligh=ter more power than original ZX with 600 but looks like the ZX7 that is perfection. maybe I can take my zx6 and get zx7 body work to slip on it LOL
The early 90s was the peak in sport bikes looks, the zx fzr cbr those were great looking bikes. GSXR not so much never liked suzuki styling but the 90s fireblades zx and fzr the dual headlight ones were the pinnacle of design in the looks dept
I’m 53, had many bikes. Bought a P5 in 2005. I don’t know what it is?…The looks, the sound, the handling?…The comments I get from ordinary folks…even my neighbours love the sound of it when I fire it up in my garage…🤷🏻♂️😁
Really? I have not noticed anything wrong. Now after riding the whole year and about 7000km more, I can say it runs really good. It pulls well in every gear and rpm, no hesitation or loss of power anywhere. Very smooth and good throttle response. Cell phone video sound is not always good.
If only I could buy a 2022 bike like this brand new at price it was when first introduced zero miles. brand new old bike at old price zero miles. Or if they could make new 600 or 900 that has that style body work now that would be best of both worlds old school looks new day performance you want to make retro bike make retro ninjas guys
I just bought a 2001 zx7r and it's the most amazing bike I've ever owned truly hands down the best

@@kawamaniaczx7r I noticed the sounds in the low rpms and it cleared up higher in the rev range. Check your petrol tank for signs of rust.
yeh i also thought it sounded a bit like a twin cylinder at first. strange
Can't wait till mine is done. Can't find a cdi box
