It's all about the percentages. A train on rails has a very small chance of leaving its track, the driver has predefined limits to stick to. Racing drivers by their nature, are compelled to push the limited which leads to unpredictable results. 😀

Hi joebarefoot I guess the loco's smoke so much because most of them are Heritage engines most of which are quite old and been superseded by newer class 66 locos. Not many get excited by the class 66 as there are so many and they all look the same so it's a bit of a treat for somethnig different like a couple of old school 37's as in this video. Regards David
