- The girls would go off on these "songwriting sojourns" and come home with gems that us guys would then interpret. Howie and I loved to come up with double leads - they became part of our signature sound, he, the intellectual, me, the wild nature boy. The chemistry was magical, infectious, and supported by one of the best rhythm sections ever - Steve Fossen and Mike Derosier.
HEART, the original lineup! Is there anyone listening in 2024?? This my friends is what you call real music! And this song is a masterpiece! Along with all the great music they bring us now! I absolutely love Ann and Nancy Wilson of heart!❤❤❤
Back when music was real. No auto tune, pitch correct b.s. I saw HEART live 3 times. Blessed.
The definitive HEART line-up!!
No Derosier, no Fossen, No Fisher = No Heart
There was good Heart music also in eighties and later. But they are legend because of their music in the seventies.
Really tight sound with the double leads on guitar. Mike has that Bonham thing going on but he kind of looks like Sib Hashian of Boston. Great performance. Ann just nails it on lead vocals. Total legend!
WOW! Huge heart fan and this show is SUCH a slayer. Thanks for posting this!! ❤️ The whole show is everything that made the 70's the best decade in rock ever.
Roger shredding that guitar and Ann on vocals, simply delicious.
Truly Scrumptious!
Real music
I miss the 70's so much, driving around in my Firebird with 8 tracks and cassettes
HA! me too man. Guess what I did today?I went down the Heart rabbit hole today so I drove my Hellcat around my old High School where Nancy also went and then cruised by Anne's High School cranking 70's Heart of course. Brought back awesome memories just like you described. And now I need new tires.
Me too 76 Trans Am .
@@stilllearning5159 My first car in high school was a 1975 Monte Carlo.
@@deadreckoning6288 Owned one the hood went on forever .
Best voice in rock, and crazy sex appeal. This was from a fabulous period.
Those girls could sing. Wish i was old enough to see them live at their prime. 70s, not their 80s prime
Cool, hot spot-on rockin’ !! Heart ❤️ will always be my favorite band. 🎤🎸🎵🎹🥁
Roger... I can't thank you enough for sharing these incredible performances. Back in the day I was too young to see the original Heart in concert (I was a rabid fan at age 13 in Vancouver). Didn't get to see Heart until 1980. What a treat to see these amazing recordings...and even moreso during this pandemic... a wonderful treat to look forward to every other day. Can't wait for your book! Stay safe and well!!!
I believe Roger said that the book idea is shelved in favor of these video uploads. Correct me if I’m wrong, Roger?
@@manxuberglider8 I think Roger mentioned the book will be a multimedia experience with these videos playing a major part, yes
that's right, except we'll have better vids with pristine audio. Around each vid will be STORIES!
@@FisherBrosandtheHumanTribe Amazing! Can't wait!
@@FisherBrosandtheHumanTribe wow when is this coming out? Can't wait.
I love this song! White Lightning and Wine! Good combination! Thanks!
🎸👏🏻😎
My favorite song off the first album and this version was smokin'!!!!!!!
Love the extended jam!!!
You and Howie need to have a jam session. Love those harmonies...
Woooooooow, INCREDIBLE!!!! Hope these video gems lead to posting songs from the 78’ Dog and Butterfly tour!!! I was in front row at Syracuse War Memorial (John Mellencamp opened). It was that night I became a Heart fan for LIFE!!! PS: Original lineup fan I must stress!!!! 🔥
Me too! I'd love to hear Lighter Touch and Nada One "LIVE" too - kimie
Got to thank you again, a dream come true... Seen Heart through the years and even at the Royal Albert Hall and loved them but even the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra couldn't make up for the loss of the original line up.
That was killer! Yes, great songwriting and musicianship. I miss both so much these days...
Love duel rift ❤️❤️❤️
New fave video version of this. I never liked the lighting of the Largo MD show. I still have the Midnight Special version on vhs. Always love The Second Ending version. But this one ☝🏻 is it. Thank you!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
FANTASTIC.. 🎤🎤🎸🎸🎸❤ How Lucky I was to see "Heart" back then and many more times throughout the years.. Best Live Show EVER.. ❤ xo ❤ Lynn ❤
Vocals are practically blistering
Absolute MAGIC!!!
Extraordinary concert in chapters! Thank you very much Roger!
Thanks so much for sharing this! Brings me right back to the 70s and how you all rocked my world!
This has always been my favorite Heart song to watch live because of the way you and Howard rip it up
One of my favorite songs ever. period. And thats a lot of songs😅❤ My favorite band❤. I met Mike Derosier 2 times in my life...in October 1979 and summer of 2017. ❤❤❤❤One of the nicest people I've ever met...ever.😊
I’ve been waiting for this one !! Thanks again !! So honored to have seen this tour. Keep ‘em coming!
Being 13 yo in 1977 I first wore the blue eyeshadow like Ann is wearing. It actually goes well with blue eyes and tan skin (at that time.) That lasted 2 years then it went in the trash. In the 70's when a new song came out there was a radio station (96 Rock) in Atlanta Georgia that would play the song and listeners would call in and vote smash or trash. White Lightening, I'm calling the song a smash! I would not drink it though - kimie
96 Rock, I was living there then and loved it. ALBUM rock. They didn't focus on all the same old obvious (tired) hits...you got everything and anything from the albums. Those were the days! I should be a DJ, I would do it right😄
@@Katerina9256 Wasn't it great! Somebody realized there was more than one or two good songs on an album. In Hearts case the whole freakin album. All four from the 70's. are a Gem.
@@BrentMFisher yes on all counts!😄
No true fan of "Heart" has EVER taken the Fisher Brothers for granted! These early years were defined by your collective talent. Thank you for the incredible memories❣
they owned the first three albums- Heart's best catalog...
WTF !!!! These videos get better every time. Great Guitar work !!!!
I was gonna say you two are killer playing off each other. that was a really cool solo jam you guys did.
I noticed that too. Howard Leese and Roger Fisher twin guitar solo. Makes my skin crawl. goosebumps.
Heart still in their hungry years here- broken contracts, endless touring, lawsuits, not giving in though- moving forward with raw power.
🔥🔥🔥in the morning light🤪please don’t stop I love all these and by the looks I’m not alone🎸👍✌️
Fantastic!!!!!! Best Heart line up ever.
Love how Ann really rips those high notes.
love the description always wondered how you made the magic ❤️so cool
Thank you so much for sharing these videos Roger! This song is very underrated 👏🏻
The true Heart
Lost classic. Great song
Great Guitar Playing ! Back when Rock n Roll was legit
An I give this more that one thumbs up? Gosh dang Rog this is off the hook.
Dang ...ON FIYAH!!!
my favorite Heart song
This is brilliant
Heart having a Fabulous time❤️🤩❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤ Hearts the best ones in Rok&roll raise hell girls keep on rocking ❤. Richard debt TV show.
🤟
tremendouzzzz
Roger shaking an arm cramp...cool...i love HEART
An old man thanks you for posting this i adore the sisters but this was my favorite line up . Can you tell me when yawl played Lake Charles LA? I can not remember .
Guess you better hitchhike HOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMME
Firing on all six!
Another night where the sound man got things about right!
We forget just how great the good concerts were but remember the awful nights. For me the Eagles had the crappiest live shows. Everytime I seen them they had a muddy live mix. Joe Walsh on his separate tours years later always sounded great!
Every time I saw the Eagles back in the day, they were great.
😎
Once again another great video from the Little Queen Tour! Which city was this filmed in?
Will tell that kind of info later...
The biggest mistake they made was getting rid of Roger. They really never had the same spark live once he was gone
That's it they get rid of the original crew and think they can go on being strong
They lost something when they lost Roger
Why is Mike wearing a sweater in this song!!??
I was wondering the same until I deduced that it must be a shirt that looks like a sweater.
But still.... long sleeve?
This B'ham boy unplugging from all the political BS and This sure helps... =]...
i'll be over here groovin' when you figure it all out. Wow!! at 3:41
Freaking awesome.....but do not try it....!!!
get the origional band back together. somebody tell the girls to get off their highhorse! the latest band sucks! This was gold!
Something is horribly wrong with the sound. Feedback effects.
