Femke Bol was going for an unprecedented 400m/400m hurdles double at the 2022 European Athletics Championship in Munich.
Having already won gold in the 400m, Bol lined up and stormed to her second gold in a championship record 52.67 - becoming the first athlete to achieve this double.
The women's 400 metres hurdles at the 2022 European Athletics Championships took place at the Olympiastadion on 17, 18 and 19 August.
