      Sadly money rules the world. No doubt the US broadcasting company that made their demands paid a lot more than your average championship country does to temporarily own the content. I can accept some level of delay uploading legendary runs but 10 months was just too much. I want them to make better deal regards to that, but I expect them to give in to money bag in future as well to keep some restrictions

    Where are the Dutch saying Femke better than Sydney😂. The gap is way to big. Thats Usain Bolt-esque.

    • @hermanmertens8383
      @hermanmertens8383 2 місяці тому +1

      That was almost two years ago. The most recent figures we have to compare is Sydney’s pb outdoor dash last year July 48.74 and Femke’s most recent indoor WR 49.17.
      Well, common track knowledge learns us that the validation to outdoor of that time is about a second faster, so let’s say 48.2. That is a far more solid prediction than hoping Syd has somewhere on a secret spot gained substantially velocity as well.
      So here is a Dutchman, helping remind you that Sydney was unbeatable two years ago, but that times have dramatically changed and that Syd is in danger. Femke’s coach said tests during winter pointed out that she improved in raw speed, endurance and power.
      I hope however Sydney McLaughlin Levrone finds her way back to the track, were a superbe athlete like her belongs.

    • @johnlironix2184
      @johnlironix2184 2 місяці тому +2

      Indoor season is good for fans, but doesn't mean much. That’s why so many top athletes don’t compete. Outdoor and the Olympic Games are the priority.

    • @hermanmertens8383
      @hermanmertens8383 2 місяці тому

      @@johnlironix2184 Doesn’t mean much? That world record stood for 41 years, owned by Jarmila Kratochvilova, who still today holds the outdoors 800 world record and also is still second on the all time world list on outdoors 400 meters with 47.99 seconds. Btw, Sydney McLaughlin is a top athlete, right? But only tenth on that list.
      For more context: Two years ago former two times Olympic champion Shaunae Miller Uibo became indoor world champion with a time of 50.21. That is a full second slower than Bol’s recent world record or about nine meters difference on the finish line!
      Doesn’t mean much? I don’t know much about track, would be a much better comment. Not only because of your misjudgment about the indoor position in athletics, but also completely ignoring the incredible velocity Femke Bol has reached. Times don’t lie, wether indoors or outdoors.

    • @johnlironix2184
      @johnlironix2184 2 місяці тому

      @@hermanmertens8383 Oh my God! Indoor meets and indoor championships are considered far less prestigious. It is rather obvious for sports fans. If you were interested in athletics you would notice that some of track and field's biggest stars throughout history never competed or competed sporadically at the World Indoor Championships. That's why Kratochvílová's record lasted for so long. A significant number of the big name athletes don’t even bother adding indoor meets to their schedule because it messes up their training schedule enough that it is not really worth it.

    • @hermanmertens8383
      @hermanmertens8383 2 місяці тому +1

    Як вона легко дихає після такого бігу, таке враження що це надлюдина, Сідні Маклафлін.

    Usain has retired, we have a worthy replacement. Sydney will be there for the ages, please God, no injuries.

    I like that tranquility with which she assumes what she is experiencing, without a doubt she is a girl who, beyond her sporting talent, there is something special that God has placed in her. Everything comes from GOD and everything and return to him.

    I believe she is going to run the 400m flat this year, not hurdles. Wouldn't it be something amazing if she can break the 400m world record? I so wish . . . .

      She's going to run the 400m at the Paris Diamond League event in a month. So yeah...she's coming for the tainted 400m record held by Marita Koch.

      Her 200 of 22.39 at 18 is ahead of Shaunae's results at that age, too!
      And that 12.65 100mH is blazing too.
      Even long jumped 6.25m at 17.....
      And classmates told me she high jumped 1.82m in practice easily!!
      A truly explosive athlete.
