Ok so like I’m just recently getting back into trains and stuff for the first time since I was 12 and I have a burnin’ question. What exactly makes a good railfanning catch?
Pretty much anything that isn’t a common sight for example one of a kind paint schemes or those remaining from defunct railroads, locomotives from different railroads, high/wide or oversized cargo, etc..
Fantastic Film
Awesome!
10:37 we can all agree that that is one of the best sounding horns ever!, but great video!
Fouled k5la
You caught 36:17 on my Bday
55:54 That was actually a KCSM leading.
So how do you guys get word that there is a special interest train heading your way!
Facebook groups specific to the area along with trackside live cameras further up the line. Also some of these are just lucky catches!
Thank you this will help me a lot!

The other day in Baldwin I caught an insane lashup (KCS, NS, And CSX) and that’s what I call a good catch
