By this part on your Rockies adventure y'all should be hooked on Colorado! Impressed with your backcountry road manners!! I've done other Colorado backcountry passes but for this flatlander...Black Bear Pass...No Way, No How, No Thanks! I do not like off-camber with exposure. You captured the experience of Black Bear better than most! Glad y'all did it so I don't have to 😉
Oh we’re definitely hooked on Colorado! Black Bear was quite the experience. I kept telling myself to “slow your roll”. I didn’t care how long it took me but to always make sure the tires were placed perfectly. I also watched a lot of others lined and met one local in the green wrangler that guided and looked out for me in the sketchy parts. That’s one of the good parts about Black Bear, there’s so many others on it that you can get info from or latch onto the back of their group.
Great video! My friend and I made the trip out there this past July and spent 6 days in Ouray doing all the trails. It is an incredible area. The Black Bear Pass trail definitely has a pucker factor to it!!! Loved the video's on Moab as well. We are looking to make that trip next summer! When you make your next trip to my are around Jocassee and Gorges, check out Hurricane Creek to Max Patch, cool trail and some great camping spots along the creek.
That's cool, we were probably in CO at the same time. And yes it is so incredibly beautiful out there. we loved being above the tree line and being able to see for miles. Me and my boy have checked out Hurricane Creek and hike to the top of Max Patch a few years back (didn't do a video). Both are really cool. we camped at one of the creekside campsites on Hurricane creek. We also checked out Buzzard's Roost out that way too. That's a nice little drop from there.
NO WAY! You would never catch me on that trail. Love the views but my nerves would be shot by the first switchback. Have you seen the video of that Jeep rolling down that section?
Yes I’ve seen that video. Horrible! I can’t imagine that happening. Or being the other driver that caught that on video and nearly getting crushed by it.
Thanks sooo much! Glad you're liking the channel and thank you for subbing! We were just up that way last week. Working on that video as we speak. We hit some trails and camped along the GA/SC border, east of Clayton GA. But yes, that would be a great possibility for next time.
@@GetOverItOutdoors Oh cool! Maybe even North East Ga, I hear there are some cool trails out there! We will be recording a video this weekend as we take our overland trailer out for the first time!
@@GetOverItOutdoors We built it from a strong utility trailer. It has turned into a cool project! I can hardly wait for Saturday morning to hit the road!
It can get crowded on the weekends. We started pretty early in the day to beat the crowds. we still had to maneuver around some vehicles coming the other way on Imogene.
The beauty of Imogene is incredible! Great video!
You are right about that! Thanks for watching!
Great job, 10 days til we're up there, hope we catch the same weather :)
Glad you liked it! You’ll love it if you’ve never been. So amazing! Best of luck on the weather.

Thanks for the history on the mine at Imogene pass. I’ll be looking into the book you referenced.
Aimee loved the book. she loves the old history of places we visit.
Absolutely beautiful. This place is on my bucket list. Hat tip to the Toyota's. I have a 2000 4Runner for a trail rig.
This was a great trip! Yes the Yota’s help us quite a bit since we were alone. It helps having the added security when driving those shelf roads
@@GetOverItOutdoors That is what I’m hoping when I go. I can get with a group. I do not want to do this by myself.
@@gbrianmullinax8448 that shouldn’t be a problem. There are always groups rolling by and everyone usually is more than happy to help out.

What is amazing trail. so many epic sites to see. that would be a bucket list trail for sure
It really was amazing and yes you need to add it to your list. You won't be disappointed
@@GetOverItOutdoors was there a lot of traffic on Either of the passes? I heard it can get busy.

@@GetOverItOutdoors fantastic, then you have hit most the best spots around here. If your ever back in the area would be happy to meet up for a ride.
Wow that Black Bear pass looks super sketchy!
Oh it was!!! But also Super fun! you would love it!

You guys have some incredible videos! If you ever come to the lower Carolina's let us know, we would love to go wheeling/overlanding with yall!

I'm sure you'll have a great time. It's even that much sweeter when it something you've created and made to meet your needs. Best of Luck!
Incredible trail!! This definitely on my bucket list one day. Did you attempt it alone?
You definitely got to do it once. Yes we started alone but did follow a group of Toyotas to watch their lines.
Loved the story about the mine. If you don’t have a Jeep can you hike up there?
Thank you, that was Aimee's idea on the history part. yes you can hike up to the mine.
That is to sketchy for me but I enjoyed watching!
Sketchy for sure. I didn’t like the loose rocks under the tires. I just kept thinking about it possibly starting to slide
Is there camping on Black Bear or Imogene Pass?
I don't think here is any on Black Bear but there definitely is on Imogene Pass on the Ouray side of the pass
@@GetOverItOutdoors thanks for the info. Does it get crowded on either trail?
