Just had a bbl 4 days ago and I didn’t know you had to get regular massages I’ve been getting the lymphatic drainage massages back home starting post op day so 4 total is that bad?
Hello Dr. William, Thank you for these informative videos on liposuction and BBL. Unfortunately, I am unable to find an Ogee Roller in the UK. And as well through your website which it is out of stock Could you please suggest an alternative option? Additionally, I am concerned about swelling in my thighs post-liposuction. Should I be worried if my legs appear larger , swollen and more stiff after 2 weeks? Thank you
It's my pleasure. Don't miss the UA-cam Live 2 Day Class on December 4 and 5th at 7pm where I will be going through EVERYTHING there is to know about recovery from a BBL and there will be some cool prizes as well.
Hi DR. Is it safe to get 360 Lipo, breast augmentation amd chin lipo all together? Do you also let the incisions close on their own or do you leave drains?
Either order is fine. One doesn't effect the other. If your thighs bother you the most then have that surgery first. Whatever is your priority is the order that you should have the procedures.
I have surgery coming up sooner then later and am processing as much information as I can. The Ogee roller is out of stock, is there an alternative that's just as good?
Ideally you roll on top of your skin but the skin is usually too painful right away after surgery so you start with rolling on top of the faja and then as your skin gets more comfortable you roll directly on the skin.
I’m about 14 weeks post op my skin on my abdomen is starting to get loose but it’s looking a little weird. I always wear my faja and have been doing wood therapy along with massages. Any advise ?
I am a big fan of rolling on the skin after liposuction to get soft, smooth skin and it can help with very mild laxity, but it you have true laxity or even excess skin there might not be very much you can do unfortunately.
The doctor says that we should not sit after 2 weeks after the surgery. But, after that, can we sit on our buttocks? Or how long does it take to sit on my buttocks?
You can still wear them if they are protecting the skin from faja indentations. I have a new product coming out soon called Fibroguard that will replace the foams at two weeks. For now if the faja is leaving indentations than keep them but in the future the foams will stop at two weeks and be replaced with Fibroguard.
What If I’m having combo procedure TT/BBL will I have to wait 2 days to start getting my lymphatic messages? And what about the faja? Will I wear it right away or do I have to wait a couple of days?
So for a TT/BBL you get massages the next day after surgery, what we call POD #1 (post-operative day number one) and you start to wear the faja on POD #14. You can wear the faja on POD#14--it is NOT dependent on whether your drains are in or not.
Doc, I don’t know if you will see this message since this vid is from 3 months ago. So you recommend 10 “regular” massages and then the lymphatic ones? Thank you doc
That's correct. 10 traditional massages over the first 2 weeks. So that's everyday for the first week and then every other day for the next week and then 5 lymphatic massages over the next 2 weeks.
Here is the Ogee Roller Protocol: Step 1: Use the Roller right after your surgery over the faja with gentle pressure to help with sensation. Just lightly because you will be sore; this can continue to be done over the faja and foams. Step 2: Once your skin is comfortable enough, use it directly on the skin like a rolling pin with much more pressure. All over your front and back (360 degrees). (First two weeks after surgery). Step 3: After two weeks, use the Roller lightly, with gentle pressure, and on the highest vibration setting. In this setting, manual lymphatic drainage is performed. Gentle, vibrational pressure, work the left half of your body to the left groin and the right half to the right groin area. The groins are where the lymph nodes are. They are the drains. You are working the fluid to the drains. But this requires you to open the lymphatic channels, and you do that with very gentle, light pressure and high vibration. In step 3, you let the Ogee Roller do the work for you. The lighter the pressure, the better. Let the diamonds and the vibration open the lymphatic channels and drain the fluid. Continue to do this for six months after surgery, longer if still lumpy.
5 weeks post op and I have some fibrosis along me ribs my massage therapist started cavitation and radio frequency should i continue or spot I have done 2 treatments so far? I’m worried that it might get worse
Is It okay to wait for the tummy tuck until you are done having kids? I have DR and loose skin but I want a BBL for projection. My concern is; my husband still hasn't gotten a vasectomy and we are 3 kids in. I don't want to get a tummy tuck and have another pregnancy. Will Dr's refuse to do a BBL if I am not ready to get a tummy tuck?
No not at all. If you don't want a tummy tuck and just a BBL that's fine. Only when there is so much loose skin that I can't perform the liposuction because it is just too much skinny that I can't do a BBL. Otherwise if patients have excess skin and are a TT candidate but don't want a TT I just do lipo or a BBL.
I’m going on 3 weeks post op lipo360/bbl and I’m interested in purchasing the faja where can I purchase it? Can you post the link for it please ? Thank you
I'm 4 days post op. Day one was the worst but as long as you keep up with pain management you will be fine . I will also encourage a daily massage . They make you feel so good after. Good Luck
I’m on day 4. Walking up & down stairs daily. Cooked my own food on day 2. Pain is manageable but getting in & out of bed from lying on stomach is extremely painful. Belly and but is still swollen and my masses have been soothing. The first massage I almost passed out because I wasn’t breathing properly so make sure to focus on your breathing when your getting your massage. Wish you the best
I don't think protein by itself is the sole answer. Not applying pressure to newly grafted fat will allow the fat to gain a blood supply and survive. No amount of protein will help fat survive if there is no blood supply.
12 months between BBL1 and BBL2 is best. Gives the tissue sufficient time to heal and the swelling to completely dissipate and time for all the tissues to soften.
Please answer- I have my appointment booked with you but, my goal is to lose weight before surgery to better my results since I’m considered overweight. Im curious about whether Im losing visceral fat or if Im losing fat that would be useful to us during the procedure for grafting. Is there a general ratio for how much visceral to external fat people can lose. How Do I lose the internal fat without getting rid of too much external fat that can help you make the transfer? Is it possible for me to lose only external fat and only be left with internal? Hope my question makes sense.
Weight loss will improve your results. Your body tends to burn internal fat first but there is nothing you can do to burn one versus the other. Losing weight will make your results better for sure.
I don't think BMI is helpful at all. The best way to enter surgery is to get to the lowest weight you can and get in the best shape you can. That's how you get your best results--thinking what is the highest BMI I can have will leave you dissatisfied with your result.

lipo 360 w bbl is what i got and i am about to be 4 weeks post op and sleeping on my stomach makes me out of breath so i was wondering when i can sleep however
I have fibrosis and I’m 3 months post op. What can I do to make it go away? I’m doing radio frequency and cavitation 2xs a week and I’m doing wood therapy on myself 3-4xs a week. Please advise
Fibrosis is hard to treat. Personally I don't think compression, traditional massages, wood therapy or radio frequency are helpful at this point. You have to get the fluid out of the scar tissue and more vigorous agitation of the tissue will not help it but I think it makes it worse. I prefer to use gentle rolling--use the Ogee Roller as a manual lymphatic device on high vibration and gentle pressure using it in a uni-directional way to open the lymphatic channels and move the fluid to the lymph nodes in the groin. Here is the protocol: On its highest vibration setting, the Ogee Roller becomes a Manual Lymphatic Drainage tool. Apply very soft, pressure, directing the left side of your body's fluid towards the left groin, and the right side towards the right groin. These groin areas house the lymph nodes, which act as the body's drainage system. To effectively redirect the fluid, it's essential to open the lymphatic channels. This is achieved using a gentle touch and the Roller's high vibrational setting. In this step, let the Ogee Roller do the heavy lifting. The lighter the pressure, the better. Allow the Roller's diamonds and vibrations to open the lymphatic channels and facilitate fluid drainage. Continue this regimen for 12 months.
Do you perform 3 surgeries at once ? Breast augmentation, tummy tuck and bbl?! I hoping to book all 3 surgeries in March. Also I’m not sure if I’m a good candidate for BBL or if I need a butt lift. Do you perform 360 tummy tucks ??
Because u need to sleep on your back when u do boobs and tummy tuck and if u get bbl u need to sleep on your tummy so better different time like doctor said
Not that can be removed except by your body. That's why I tell patients to use the roller starting at 2 weeks as a lymphatic massage tool. The roller will remove the fluid as it all gets moved the "drains"--those are the lymph nodes in your groin.
No, it's not usually if the abdomen is not flat it's because there is internal fat, also known as visceral fat that is preventing you from getting flat after liposuction or a tummy tuck.
Some people do it because of that others do it for themselves or for their career. Either way it’s their choice. Just like it’s your choice to not get any work done.

Because u need to sleep on your back when u do boobs and tummy tuck and if u get bbl u need to sleep on your tummy so better different time like doctor said
I am 5’3 170 lbs. Anyone with similar height/weight get good results?
I wanted him to do my bbl but he doesn’t operate on type 1 diabetics 😔
I only do outpatient surgery. It is illegal in the state of Florida to operate on patients with Type I DM in an outpatient setting.
Is there still fluid after 2 weeks?
Not that can be removed except by your body. That's why I tell patients to use the roller starting at 2 weeks as a lymphatic massage tool. The roller will remove the fluid as it all gets moved the "drains"--those are the lymph nodes in your groin.
Do you do buttock injections versus a bbl?
No I don't. I only use fat.
Is it normal for the belly to still look big 6 months postop?my belly is still not flat😢
No, it's not usually if the abdomen is not flat it's because there is internal fat, also known as visceral fat that is preventing you from getting flat after liposuction or a tummy tuck.
This is too much only to look a certain way....never me
These procedures are certainly not for everyone.
Not worth it you’re better off with your regular body this is to much work for people to stare at you a few seconds
Some people do it because of that others do it for themselves or for their career. Either way it’s their choice. Just like it’s your choice to not get any work done.
I never had a caregiver for any of my surgeries lol 😢
