I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of protein powder. I try eating whole chicken. My chicken doesn't hit the same. I try a steak. My steak feels too heavy. I try a quinoa salad. My quinoa salad leaves me feeling sluggish. I want to have oatmeal for breakfast, but it needs protein powder. I want to make smoothies, but they just feel incomplete without protein powder. Protein powder is everywhere. It’s like it’s holding me hostage. I scoop it, I mix it, I drink it. It always satisfies me in a way no whole food can. I buy a premium brand, thinking it’ll make a difference. “More protein, more results,” they tell me. I gulp it down, and it always delivers. I try almond butter, I try eggs, I try yogurt-but no, nothing quite hits the spot like protein powder. “I can't go without it,” I say, “I need more shakes, more powder, more liquid.” It’s the only thing that feels right. I want to enjoy my food again, but protein powder always demands its place. I open my pantry and see my credit card bill. “Guess this is it,” I sigh. There’s no escape. Protein powder is everywhere. It doesn’t care. It just wants to be mixed in, no questions asked. What a cruel world.
I dont know if this ironic or not, taking protein powder feels so artificial, the taste is awful and its hard to digest. I dont get it how people would prefer unironically taking protein powder over real healthy food (beside being more affordable and not having to cook)
nah i feel zaj. i cut out sweet drinks from my diet and lost some weight and man i felt so much physically better (no knee pain, better stamina) BUT zaj's method sounds so extreme + he sounds like hes not getting enough of other major food groups like fibres and protein. imo, its not a weight loss journey, but a lifestyle change, and you gotta implement healthy habits from the start if you plan to maintain your "goal" weight after your journey is over yk!!!
honestly Zajef is so real for this! the way he talks about how his brain works is so true, I relate to it a lot. a slow diet may be "healthier" but it's good to do what feels right. good job Zajef if you read this! keep it up!!
Just replace ramen/noodles with.. more eggs Also glad i wasnt crazy, he seriously looks so much better. Weight, haircut, groomed the beard. If you see it for some reason, keep it up sir
That's cool. Good for him. We've all noticed the change too. I saw him working out on stream a few weeks ago. Zajef looks great but what's more important is that he feels great. Working out or doing cardio when you're sleep-deprived or exhausted is an awful feeling. Been there, done that. He may be even more exhausted because it sounds to me like he's on a crash diet. Something like that is rough to keep up with, but hey, if it works for him... Also, could be exercise-induced asthma. I had that as a kid when running the mile and I got it bad in the winter when running outside. Pain in the upper chest, throat and a constricting feeling. Now, I have a treadmill at home. Much better.
Hi, I totally understand the pain at the back of your throat. I was diagnosed with asthma and all my life I thought it was normal and I was just a weakling. I just had it medically managed for about 3 months, I haven’t felt better. I’m also on a weight loss journey. I don’t like to run since it hurts so bad, I walk instead as a form of cardio for about 30mins to 1 hour. I like to watch something while walking on a treadmill and that helps pass the time and not feel so much of the pain. If you concerned about asthma, consult with your healthcare provider is best. Best wishes Edit: typos
For context, 5'11" (181cm) biological male. I was in his exact situation for the past 6 months and locked the fuck in specifically for the past 3 months. I knew that my ADHD wouldn't allow me to go on a sustained drawn-out diet for like a year so I cut my intake to ~900 kcal/day (with balanced macros/micros with vegetables/fruits etc) from mid Sept to mid Dec. I also went to the gym every day (absolutely NO exceptions) and did mostly zone 3 cardio for 1-1.5 hours. This resulted in a calorie deficit of ~1300 kcal/day. While it was hard, cruel, and most noticeably mentally draining, I endured it every day to see the scale read a lower number than it did yesterday. At the end, I started at 253 lbs (114 kg) and 2 weeks ago hit 187 lbs (84 kg). I lost 66 lbs (30 kg) over 5 months (July-Dec) and zoomed in to the aforementioned lock-the-fuck-in period, 44 lbs (20 kg) over 3 months. Now that this is over, I have been maintaining around 190 lbs (86 kg) for 2 weeks and I feel much better about myself and am more confident around others. As a very recent viewer of Zaj (but have known of his presence through Zy0x), I didn't know he was on a weight loss journey of his own. I wish Zajef all the best in his journey and I hope he gets there in a healthy manner. Zaj, if you're reading this, ABOBA
Zajeff you GOTTA get a scale. It will actually motivate you and keep you in it. Importantly, make sure you only look at the scale after u wake up in the morning, and before your first meal. Anyways goodluck in ur journey ❤
Honestly feel good for him, this is a start, not a good one, but he’s a very knowledgeable fellow. I had a bad start as well, as my first foray into losing weight was eating one meal a day. It’s really trial and error though, and much later I did things the right way. Cutting to now, I’ve lost 50 lbs and I’m still going. As he educates himself on things, he’ll get better, it’s a lifestyle change that one has to stick with. The hardest part about it is staying consistent, but if you do that you’ll reach your goals, no matter the setbacks.
Me and Zajef are very similar in a lot of ways. It's cool to see him figure out issues that I struggle with myself and make progress. We're the same age and have similar issues and minds (afaik) but the results are very different for us. I hope to achieve what he has soon, and wish him the best. Oh and sparkling water is actually insane stuff, very underrated. I used to hate it with a passion, but (I'm gonna sound like an ad) when I got to try my then roommate's sodastream I was surprised. There are flavors of soda that you can buy for it but they all suck; if you want to make some soda alternative that isn't super unealthy you carbonate the water and add either juice (not fruit juice, but like lemonade or whatever sirup you have that is mixable in water to make flavors like that red stuff in the US. Saft is what we call it in Norway) or you add some lemon and a bit of salt. BUT the thing that surprised me the most is just how great and addictive carbonated water can be. After getting used to it within a week or two I quickly became a full-time carbonated water drinker. For the last 3 years I've pretty much replaced all need for soft drinks and flat water, only drinking carbonated water. It scratches the itch for alcohol to an extent too. The only flaws are that you can get a bit more bloated/gassy and that carbonating water reduces ph levels. Quick lesson on that: Here in Norway water ph levels are around 7 but I think for most of the world it is around 5. Anything apart from that and alkaline stuff (very specific things you don't drink like blood or bleach for example) are below water on the ph scale. Juice and coffee for example. Soda is very low on the ph scale and therefore it is very acidic. This is important, as your dentist will firmly remind you; because as you consume things that are acidic, you damage your teeth, mouth and possibly liver/gut. The more you drink, the worse it is. There are many factors like genes, daily routine, products and how long between cleaning and consuming but generally if you drink a lot of soda or non-water drinks throughout the day and don't clean properly you will suffer for it eventually. It might not seem like a problem while you're like 20 but throughout the next decade signs will show and the damage is irreversible. expensive and painful. Carbonated water is acidic too. No matter how clean your water is it will be lowered on the ph scale when carbonated because of the chemical effect of carbonation. If you add alkaline drops you can get the ph values back up but you'll lose carbonation and any reason for doing what you're doing. So what I'm saying is that it is generally worse for your dental health to consume carbonated water but the level of acidity compared to other drinks and the fact that it won't discolor teeth or carry as many bacteria as any other product makes it a lot better than 99% of what you'll drink otherwise and therefore; all things considered it is an absolutely amazing and refreshing drink that can help you lose weight, get the good amounts of hydrations needed, ween you off addictions and it's super cheap. Buying sparkling water from the store is expensive though, and they put products in it that you don't need or want. Sodastream machines are cheap, but the gas can get expensive. If you have a provider of the machines like an electronics store or a shop that sells the gas you can generally trade in used gas tanks for a hefty price reduction though, and if not you can usually find a refill tank that contains a massive amount of gas for a much better liter price. It's something that has really helped me in the last few years and every time I carbonate the water it's like a small fun thing every day that I enjoy a lot.
thats like intermittent fasting, for ramadan it is the same, kinda nice not to think of having to cook throughout the day, but yeah it can get tiring, you need a good breakfast with protein and also electrolytes are important for maintaining hydration levels. We also cope with it by sleeping, and also eating nice food at night. One major thing i noticed is just how calm my mind gets when doing intermittent fasting, the brain also reacts differently because of the change in lifestyle. And sleep-wise, the word sleep schedule becomes non-existent, but even that can work if you're a night owl, sleeping till the afternoon but being up till 5-6 am. Good luck with your journey!!
The reason his sleep schedule has gotten worse is because of his diet, and he isn’t getting enough vitamins. Multivitamins are the bare minimum for every person, people who are losing weight need extra supplements and the correct diet.
Good on you man, glad to hear you have a plan that is working for you! I need to lose just a bit of weight before my wedding next October, and for me it's less a strict regiment and more of making minor good decisions for myself every day. Portions a bit smaller, resist the urge to snack, get myself to the gym more often, that sort of thing. I'm not terribly overweight, I'm a tall guy and I'm about 210 right now but I would love to be down to around 190 - 195 by October. I do kickboxing too and that definitely helps
You might be interested in intermittent fasting or OMAD, I would speak with a nutriologist (who is specialized in this sort of diet) first tho. After COVID I went from being healthy to being overweight (by about 15-20kg) and honestly nothing I did except this worked. Now I am on my ideal weight. Also it was really easy too, eat whatever I want but within certain timeframes only. I still ate candy and shit and still got back to my ideal weight.
I was just wondering lately if you're going on a weight loss journey or is just the haircut/beard. Good for you man, it's noticeable, keep up yhe good work!
let me give you advice as a former 150kg guy who reached my goal of having just 90kg intermittent fasting is great. very low effort, just two meals a day and eating in a 4 hour window but the meals have to be filling and healthy. i recommend overnight oats and some kind of chicken & rice dish for oats: 100g of rolled oats 200g of low fat greek yoghurt 30g of protein powder around 100ml of water so the oats have some moisture to absorb mix everything and then add 150g of frozen fruits I would also add some fruit - either banana or an apple just before eating so there's some crunch to this meal. Depending on the protein powder you can have all kinds of tastes so it will not go stale. This recipe would be around 1000kcal, you can easily add up. Then for the chicken&rice go for 1kg of chicken, fry with as low amount of oil as you can with various spices add onion/tomatoes/peas and rice according to your daily calorie goal to the pan and divide equally for 4/5dishes cooking above will take you maybe 1h/5 days and overnight oats also take like 20minutes per 4 servings you can easily go as low as 1800kcal with those two dishes and yet they are filling, full of protein and vitamins then incorporate WALKING 1h a day you will be losing weight like crazy in no time
I don't know if this comment will be read but going for 30~40 min everyday is already good enough to replace running. One thing I believe it should also help is keeping a routine (wake up same hour in the morning, eat at the same hour everyday...) and don't skip sleep. Holy, sleep is so important. Keep it up!
I don't indend any hate or anything, but this diet suggestion resulted in me being in hospital for around two weeks. Take this as a PSA: please consider how weak your stomach is before trying something like this, people.
YES to veggie-infused pasta. I get the store brand one in my area, one box (about 3 servings, imo) is $1.00. I used to eat this with butter and/or tomato sauce 5+ days a week. Add chicken or 2 hard-boiled eggs as a side for some protein and you're doing p good (have fruit regularly at lunch). Cooking a multi-component meal is a great treat (miso-glazed salmon + green beans + rice pilaf = happiest tummy in the world) but I do not have the patience for it more than like twice a month when I'm single. Having family/friends/roommate/partner(s) makes cooking not only easier but way more fun.
One meal a day. No snaking. Drink lots of water. Eat veggies, lean baked or grilled fish and chicken. Berries are low cal fruit. If exersize makes you too hungry then you are better off not exercising. Diet is more important than exercise for losing weight. Take a multivitamin.
extreme diets will only force your brain into 'safe' mode and you will gain more than you had before the diet. The only correct option is to control your calories, define your standard value of calories (per day) when your weight is stable and try to keep yourself no more than this value, but no less than 10% of it, without limiting yourself by types of food. Don't worry to much if you are over the limit by 10%, but DON'T overeat. Your brain would play tricks with you like 'ok, don't eat this pizza, but you know what you might want this small slice of cheese (which is 10x calories of other food that you don't want to eat)' Add some workouts and most importantly: just walk utside for some time 30-60 minutes - this would be the best balancer for lost "happy calories"
I think Zaj mentioned years ago(like during Inazuma period) that him and Zy0x are actually quite tall(I don't remember exact number) and they're the same height but he finds the Xiao short meme funny so he is 4'11 now.
Bro, if youre tasting iron or any metal, depending on the situation, youre tasting blood, thats what your troat hurting plus the taste of metal indicates, be cadefull
i'll share my tips for eating healthy, yummy and cheap with you guys, maybe that'll help someone! just saying, i'm a brokeass med student who reaserched the topic thoroughly. And, fair to mention, i was obese as a child, but now i keep a good shape with rly low effort for like, 7 years or more now! so: Frozen weggies. damn mixes of frozen weggies, they're life saviors. some of them are really cheap, they can lay in the freezer for a long time, there are many different flavors so you can mix them and choose whichever you like and also switch them to have more diverse diet. Frozen food is as good as fresh one, it's not loosing nutrients. And weggies SHOULD be base of your diet, sorry, byut there's no going around that I love to mix the portion of frozen weggies with rice/noodles/groats of any kind. Not only that way from one portion of weggies suddenly you have 3 meals, but they're healthy on their own, filling and tasty. They're not that expensive as well, you can also swap them and choose whichever you like and want to eat. I basicly just put some vegetable oil on the pan, add weggies, and i can go do other stuff, they'll be ready on their own in 15 minutes. At the same time i'm boiling rice, groats or sth. Then just mix everything, add seasonings that you like and suit the dish and you're done! Sometimes i'm adding also things like sunflower seeds, or soy sauce, or tomato puree or whichever suits the dish, but it also takes secounds And there you go, you can have as many different dinners as you like, done mostly under 20 minutes which most of them you can do other stuff in the meantime, each one costs around 7 zł in my country (which's like, less than 2 dollars). And are diverse, healthy, and tasty at the same time! some other stuff i wanna menton: - try to not burn or over-boil your food, since it makes their calories and glycemic index (which is probably even more important when it comes to obesity than calories, but that's the longer topic) rise dramatically - it's important to drink a lot of unsweetened drinks. Not only for health of your kidneys, but also they make you feel more full, so you'll end up eating less but not feel hungry. I try to drink a cup of water before meal and it's really working in terms of helping my hungry ass to not eat 2-days portion in one go! - exercising is, after all, one of the healthiest things you can do for yourself. I doesn't mean you need to go to the gym - even a 15 minutes walk instead of taking a bus have massive benefits, so i highly encourage everyone to do so! also there are so many different ways to make exercising fun. For example, my friend simply dances to the music she likes, by herself, in her own room, without paying a penny for dance classes or anything. She's just having fun, but it also keeps her active. Most of people wouldn't probably even count that as an exercise, but it is! There's nothing more discouraging than forcing yourself to do sth you don't even like. So just try to open your mind and find a way to move that also brings you joy!
Not having a balanced meal plan and not getting all the vitamins and nutrients you need is not healthy But you know what is also not healthy? Being overweight LOL I just fasted myself into losing weight, it's super easy and you just gotta endure it. Once you reach your target weight it becomes a lot easier. It's only ass for the first few days and then it's fast and very low effort. The human body can survive a great amount of time without food. The only thing you have to be careful with is not getting dehydrated. Get a good, proper meal once a day and just fill the void with water. You'll speedrun that shit like it's nobody's business. I look and feel great.
start running its genuinely fun but it needs you to go out which wastes a lot of time on clothing and showering and makes u stunlocked on phone, but running is so nice, easy its like playing osu! for me.
i don't like hunger diet am sure he will be sad when he finds out he will gain the weight lost fast when he ends the diet ( like I did in covid lockdown ) with massive muscle mass will be lost in the process ( no protein balance+no resistance training ) which will further cut more of his BMR which will make it easier to gain weight and slower to burn them
I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of protein powder. I try eating whole chicken. My chicken doesn't hit the same. I try a steak. My steak feels too heavy. I try a quinoa salad. No way we got this before GTA 6
Just replace ramen/noodles with.. more eggs
Also glad i wasnt crazy, he seriously looks so much better. Weight, haircut, groomed the beard.
If you see it for some reason, keep it up sir
Haircut, microphone, diet???? He's unstoppable
That's cool. Good for him. We've all noticed the change too. I saw him working out on stream a few weeks ago. Zajef looks great but what's more important is that he feels great.

Zahealth
let me give you advice as a former 150kg guy who reached my goal of having just 90kg
intermittent fasting is great. very low effort, just two meals a day and eating in a 4 hour window
but the meals have to be filling and healthy.
i recommend overnight oats and some kind of chicken & rice dish
for oats:
100g of rolled oats
200g of low fat greek yoghurt
30g of protein powder
around 100ml of water so the oats have some moisture to absorb
mix everything and then add 150g of frozen fruits
I would also add some fruit - either banana or an apple just before eating so there's some crunch to this meal.
Depending on the protein powder you can have all kinds of tastes so it will not go stale. This recipe would be around 1000kcal, you can easily add up.
Then for the chicken&rice go for
1kg of chicken, fry with as low amount of oil as you can with various spices
add onion/tomatoes/peas and rice according to your daily calorie goal to the pan and divide equally for 4/5dishes
cooking above will take you maybe 1h/5 days and overnight oats also take like 20minutes per 4 servings
you can easily go as low as 1800kcal with those two dishes and yet they are filling, full of protein and vitamins
then incorporate WALKING 1h a day
you will be losing weight like crazy in no time
good luck zaj that seems like a tough task
Bro kinda described what it’s like to get the Catch: it’s shit for a short to medium period of time and afterwards you feel amazing
Bros only eating yellow 💀
Nice work getting exercise into the daily routine!
I don't know if this comment will be read but going for 30~40 min everyday is already good enough to replace running. One thing I believe it should also help is keeping a routine (wake up same hour in the morning, eat at the same hour everyday...) and don't skip sleep. Holy, sleep is so important. Keep it up!
The title had me confused at first. I was like “Dee-yet? Who’s that, a new character?”
When I started watching zajef I thought he's normal, calm and collected but the more I watch him the more I feel like he's 5/6
the zy0x effect?
Instead of the dirty bulk, hes doing a dirty cut
We gonna get buff zajeff before gta6
Gunna be hard not to rebound after going from an excess calorie load to 700 calories
I honestly thought this was going to be a really short character post release analysis. Wrong channel I guess.
Fruit can be very low calorie! You can volume eat fruit like raspberries and watermelon and you won't be consuming many calories 🥲

Melatonin gummies have helped with my effed up sleep schedule.
I don't indend any hate or anything, but this diet suggestion resulted in me being in hospital for around two weeks. Take this as a PSA: please consider how weak your stomach is before trying something like this, people.
I support this goal ❤️
Vegetable infused pasta. Ground low fat turkey. Low sugar tomato. The perfect "healthy" diet meal that is also cheap!
Having family/friends/roommate/partner(s) makes cooking not only easier but way more fun.
how does this affect the fishing association tho?
Your brain would play tricks with you like 'ok, don't eat this pizza, but you know what you might want this small slice of cheese (which is 10x calories of other food that you don't want to eat)'
Add some workouts and most importantly: just walk utside for some time 30-60 minutes - this would be the best balancer for lost "happy calories"
Missing the calories theorycrafting in Excel...

This method is extreme like you will loose lots of weight but also muscles in the process which is clearly not ideal
Never get/buy a scale - it's not about numbers but about good feelings and looks, scale will just mess up the routine
I thought diet was some new team name

I thought DIET is a team comp om

How tall is Zajef?
5 foot 5
4'11 and Zy0x is 4'9
around 8 sauces
@@sorakirisaki5330 no way, more than double of xiaos height, zajef must be colossal
I think Zaj mentioned years ago(like during Inazuma period) that him and Zy0x are actually quite tall(I don't remember exact number) and they're the same height but he finds the Xiao short meme funny so he is 4'11 now.
Do you tase something like iron when you run and your throat hurts? Cuz that happens to me every time and it makes me think im dying
Bro, if youre tasting iron or any metal, depending on the situation, youre tasting blood, thats what your troat hurting plus the taste of metal indicates, be cadefull
This is not his channel he will not respond, but yeah like the other person said be careful
I think bro will be alright. Lmao!
i'll share my tips for eating healthy, yummy and cheap with you guys, maybe that'll help someone!
just saying, i'm a brokeass med student who reaserched the topic thoroughly. And, fair to mention, i was obese as a child, but now i keep a good shape with rly low effort for like, 7 years or more now!
so:
Frozen weggies. damn mixes of frozen weggies, they're life saviors. some of them are really cheap, they can lay in the freezer for a long time, there are many different flavors so you can mix them and choose whichever you like and also switch them to have more diverse diet. Frozen food is as good as fresh one, it's not loosing nutrients. And weggies SHOULD be base of your diet, sorry, byut there's no going around that
I love to mix the portion of frozen weggies with rice/noodles/groats of any kind.
Sometimes i'm adding also things like sunflower seeds, or soy sauce, or tomato puree or whichever suits the dish, but it also takes secounds
And there you go, you can have as many different dinners as you like, done mostly under 20 minutes which most of them you can do other stuff in the meantime, each one costs around 7 zł in my country (which's like, less than 2 dollars). And are diverse, healthy, and tasty at the same time!
some other stuff i wanna menton:
- try to not burn or over-boil your food, since it makes their calories and glycemic index (which is probably even more important when it comes to obesity than calories, but that's the longer topic) rise dramatically
- it's important to drink a lot of unsweetened drinks.
So just try to open your mind and find a way to move that also brings you joy!
whats the best artifact to use?

Not having a balanced meal plan and not getting all the vitamins and nutrients you need is not healthy
But you know what is also not healthy?
Being overweight LOL
I just fasted myself into losing weight, it's super easy and you just gotta endure it. I look and feel great.
start running its genuinely fun but it needs you to go out which wastes a lot of time on clothing and showering and makes u stunlocked on phone, but running is so nice, easy its like playing osu! for me.
Bro believes his diet is healthy eating the same thing every day 😂
Why did I even watch this post release analysis? Is this a the chef effect where you make anything with "pre/post-analysis" worth listening to?? 😂😂😂
Zajefrey ed skinny queen yasss
I thought u were casual...

i don't like hunger diet am sure he will be sad when he finds out he will gain the weight lost fast when he ends the diet ( like I did in covid lockdown ) with massive muscle mass will be lost in the process ( no protein balance+no resistance training ) which will further cut more of his BMR which will make it easier to gain weight and slower to burn them
