I really like the idea of a Baku being a healer, honestly. Nightmares can be a symptom of mental health problems. Something like a Baku's dream-eating abilities could (in theory) help with managing that and, in turn, make working with your mental health easier. And while it (may) be a way to squeeze in fanservice- Bathhouses and bathing are still a major part of Japan's culture. Bathing in hot baths is communal- a way to bond with your family, peers, and even strangers. Bathhouses/Ryokans are also places designed to encourage relaxation and enjoyment. All of this can help ease some of the struggles of mental health symptoms. So a Baku who wants to eat nightmares and uses therapy and the therapeutic properties of Bathhouse culture to make nightmares easier to consume? It makes a lot of sense to me. And it's not like Genshin's writers are just trying to force anything either. There's even a VTuber (Nimi Nightmare) who follows a similar logic (although she's a Baku Nurse.)
Kinda fitting to the theme of inuzama since although the AQ didn't handled it well,but there's still a lot of repercussions that came with all those civil wars before

I don't care what anyone else says, Traveler's Tales is the BEST thing coming in 5.4! This is what I've wanted for a long time. We finally get to see what our other friends are up to throughout Teyvat! We can just find them hanging out in the world! I love this so much!
A therapist like Mizuki is urgently needed, after all the lost 50\50s and way too late 5-star drops, although I'm not sure if a Mizuki is enough at all. To process these Traumas, it will probably take a whole Army of Therapists... or the overdue abolition of the 50\50 and the Guarantee of the desired Character by the 50th Step at the latest.
The Mizuki ASMR in the beginning was very nice personally. Wouldn't mind if the VA did more of this; would be nice to relax/fall asleep to after days of perpetual bleh.
I'm just excited to have a character who is an actual clinical psychologist being released this patch. I'm curious about the direction the writers are taking with what she can do. Definitely more than meets the eye to Mizuki, if her counterpart in PJSK can attest
For me, it is the opposite, I wish she wasn't a clinical psychologist as I have an aversion to them because I was forced to speak to one once, and even they had to admit it wasn't right for me.
@@mini-mei That doesn't make real sense though. There's like 6 styles of psychology, even if one definitely doesn't fit you, it's not likely all of the other 5 wouldn't as well.
@@amandaslough125 You took the completely wrong angle here. I was forced to speak with one (emphasis on forced), weeks and months before I was "ready" if I ever would have been. Even if speaking with a psychologist roughly helps 75% of people to some degree, that still leaves 25% it does not help at all. And these 25% are so often overlooked by everyone like we don't exist and always have to remind people that we do exist, and we don't have to excuse our existence, and that we don't have to try out 25 clinical psychologist before someone "believes" us.
I'm still waiting for English voice acting to be implemented. I hope it gets resolved soon, very soon! On a more festive note, Happy Lantern Rite everyone! I'm looking forward to seeing some positive changes in the future.
It will come sooner than expected. Hoyoverse just recently struck a deal with Side Global, a pretty well-known voice agency known for providing voices for Final Fantasy and Cyberpunk

They already established long into the story that solving the abyss problem is the answer to finding his sister. Safe to say lumine/aether is probably one of the final bosses in the game

i really don't. they don't have the expressive talent compared to actual VAs. they are fine if you want something more corporate or plain. the writing might be less forced than with the VAs but that's a separate issue.
I appreciate the qol stuff. And the anecdote stuff might make the world feel much more alive, I wanna deactive the icons on the map though so encountering someone feels natural and like a surprise
Did not expect Aether to be in the bath with 3 women. Why don't they have like a male version if your traveler is Aether. Like bathing with Ayato, Itto or Thoma or someone else but idk I'll see how it goes in the story
You just gave me a great idea. The overworld could have a random AI character/s on the map just doing things( fighting, collecting, fishing, chilling, etc.) You can go check to see what they're doing and start a mini side quest, or just go on your way. We know they figured out the tech for letting AI characters fight, or follow the player to locations, so I think it's definitely possible. Just don't know how resource intensive it might be. Edit: Just realized that's EXACTLY what traveler's tales is. But believe me, I had the idea first lol
I am glad some updates are not that huge. I am working very much and have not that much freetime to play Genshin for some hours per day. I am playing since release and there's still so much to do. Genshin Impact is a huge open world. You can use this Update to enjoy the Events of Genshin, do some explorations, farm materials to strengthen your characters, hunt achievements, encountering the Abyss or the Imaginarium Theater, spend time with your friends, playing TCG, doing Archon Quests and sooo much more. For new players it's a chance to look into regions they didn't explored yet. Please don't forget, they give us all 6 weeks new content. That is a short time. To give us a good gaming experience they NEED time. So I can be longer hyped for Iansan and her clan.

But when I see those people on Instagram,Twitter and SP Livestream my smile fades so fast. Like I get that you hate the game but criticize it in a constructive way and without making the ones that love it upset. We all have different opinions and ways of experiencing different things. @Crifat_12 I think the frustrating thing is from what I’ve seen is that people have said that they have tried to send criticisms and feedback to the developers and a lot of the stuff takes a long time to be added or never gets put into the game, as if their feedbacks gets ignored or never fully realized. That’s what I’ve seen though.

For me, it is the opposite, I wish she wasn't a clinical psychologist as I have an aversion to them because I was forced to speak to one once, and even they had to admit it wasn't right for me.

Even if speaking with a psychologist roughly helps 75% of people to some degree, that still leaves 25% it does not help at all. And these 25% are so often overlooked by everyone like we don't exist and always have to remind people that we do exist, and we don't have to excuse our existence, and that we don't have to try out 25 clinical psychologist before someone "believes" us.

@@Dango428 I can't really tell how are they going to do that tbh. The studio deal may have included their older VA's using the studio's assets to voice older characters but it's just speculation for now. I'd rather have their old VA's still voicing their characters we used to listen.

i really don't. they don't have the expressive talent compared to actual VAs. they are fine if you want something more corporate or plain. the writing might be less forced than with the VAs but that's a separate issue.

I love travelers tales !!! I always wanted something like that to see all the characters again. The world is going to feel more alive ❤
You just gave me a great idea. The overworld could have a random AI character/s on the map just doing things( fighting, collecting, fishing, chilling, etc.) You can go check to see what they're doing and start a mini side quest, or just go on your way. We know they figured out the tech for letting AI characters fight, or follow the player to locations, so I think it's definitely possible. Just don't know how resource intensive it might be.
Edit: Just realized that's EXACTLY what traveler's tales is. But believe me, I had the idea first lol

I am glad some updates are not that huge. I am working very much and have not that much freetime to play Genshin for some hours per day. I am playing since release and there's still so much to do. Genshin Impact is a huge open world. You can use this Update to enjoy the Events of Genshin, do some explorations, farm materials to strengthen your characters, hunt achievements, encountering the Abyss or the Imaginarium Theater, spend time with your friends, playing TCG, doing Archon Quests and sooo much more. For new players it's a chance to look into regions they didn't explored yet. Please don't forget, they give us all 6 weeks new content. That is a short time. To give us a good gaming experience they NEED time. So I can be longer hyped for Iansan and her clan.

@Crifat_12 I think the frustrating thing is from what I’ve seen is that people have said that they have tried to send criticisms and feedback to the developers and a lot of the stuff takes a long time to be added or never gets put into the game, as if their feedbacks gets ignored or never fully realized. That’s what I’ve seen though.
