Honestly i use my portal for the exact reason i bought it, to play on my couch (My tv is far away from it and i cant play casually), and to play in my bed while my wife is sleeping, and i used it on my house with high speed internet, and on my Parents House with normal internet, and it worked good on both of them. Im really happy that i can also play some games that i intended to play them for a long time but hated going to my work/gaming room to play them. So i love it
I'm gonna jump all over this bandwagon for these same reasons once it's back In stock (after xmas?). Also it's perfect for me to play ea pga that I bought back in the spring and have had to avoid playing since because my dog charges at the tv as if he's gonna really chase the ball 😂
Running mine over a 900mb connection and it's smooth as another tip is to check ip/static set up and also what router your using but overall not had no drops and loving COD 🔥
When steam deck 2 drops will you do video on it ? No pressure at all but I thought it will be great idea because a lot of people are interested in steam
I much prefer the portal, the g cloud is cool but there isn’t very good support for playstation remote play, if you play xbox or nvidia geforce now the g cloud is really good
I love the product but mine come with a defect where they R3 button was like sticking to itself so I have to send it back to repairing and I’m still waiting for it have anybody else experienced it?
I thought they said cloud streaming would not be coming to the portal? Cloud streaming is where you stream the game over the internet, but all the rendering for the game is done on a separate server, Usually using a service such as Xbox cloud gaming or Nvidia Geforce Now Where as Remote Play is the same concept but rather than streaming from a server you stream from your own personal console or pc
