Yes its a shampoo plant also.
Keep the soil around the rhizomes moist but not too wet. Water the ground around your plants every few days in the morning or at dusk, or as often as the top inch of soil dries out. Water the rhizome slightly more when the pinecone ginger plant is flowering.
