Loved the new angle shots Roger, your layout is always a pleasure to watch. I see so many things I wish to copy. Your eye for detail is amazing and I just love looking at the houses and that wonderful church. Regards Chris.
A beautifully detailed and filmed layout. It first caught my eye as I live near Renton!, an actual village between Dumbarton and Alexandria in Scotland. Great work.
Low level views will always look more realistic, I think. Perhaps a removable back-scene would allow more camera angles, something I'm thinking about for a new, small layout I'm starting.
I still want to build a lay out like this but I keep asking myself, after it is done, what do you do with it ? You just drive some trains around ? Is a serious question
Some people do enjoy driving trains around their layout. For me it's the pleasure of building something to the best of my ability that matters most. In the case of Wrenton it was five years of pleasure - and an occasional back ache!
Building a model railway is never done. There are always things that can be improved. However on Rogers layout I can't discover things that need improvement. The only thing he can do is to expand his layout (if that's possible).
Time travelling again Roger. Brilliant. Thank you
You're welcome Dave!
Absolutely love the level of detail in your layout, stunning.
Many thanks.
Great shots of a beautifully detailed layout. Very enjoyable- thanks for sharing. Cheers Euan
Thanks Euan.
What a pleasure to see Wrenton 😍 from the other side of the tracks 😉 Beautiful work throughout 👏 👏👏👏👏
Thanks Paul!
Very beautiful video, good camera work and a fantastic layout 👍
Many thanks!

Thanks Davie. I think there's a Wrenton in the States but I couldn't find one in the UK. Near miss for your village, though!
Stunning, so realistic. Thanks for sharing. I’ve subscribed
Many thanks!
Brilliant stuff Roger, your attention to the detail in your wonderful layout is amazing, thank you for another visit to Wrenton, atb Terry.
Thanks Terry!
Very nice camerawork, loved it.

Thank you, Dave.
Love it! Thumbs up from me, annoyed I can only git one thumbs up
Thanks again!
Great layout, cheers
Many thanks!
Oooh - Finescale. Good luck (as if you need it!).
I definitely need some luck! Finetrax does look great, though.
Hi Roger. I think I preferred the eye-level views in your earlier videos (each to his own).

@@rogerdB Yes, like the idea. Another N gauge layout?
Just a small one - 5' x 1'6". But using Finetrax and generally trying to up the standard in other respects. Progress is very slow, though.
Seeing this layout from a different angle is appreciated by me so I'm glad he made this video..

@@rogerdB I agree with you Roger, building stuff yourself is the best way to enjoy yourself and it is also the most satisfying.
