Unhealthy shenanigans hahah! Gotta love that morning voice when you wake up the next day! Such a great video and arrangement by Marwan. Loved seeing your first reaction and then hearing about all the sections😀
6:00 my thoughts exactly, first time I saw the video I had the same excitement and I think I commented that Marwan hit a note so low it plane shifted everyone into the upside down.
Bruh... I was torn, because I've lost count of how many features of this song Lauren has had, between Bass Gang, Voice Play, I think even Bobby has his own cover with her... But each one has been AMAZING and different. The ending this one, where Lauren is tripled, one whisper, one regular melody, then one the "siren octave"... Creepy as hell. Dude, plus that Dubstep type breakdown... Marwan's arrangements are some of my favorites coming out right now. I think the internet would break if/when Bass Gang is able to have a video where you are all physically together.
I’m obsessed with this song! I first heard Lauren and Bobby duetting this on TikTok and fell in love with the contrast between her ethereal soprano and his deep, dark bass. I wanted more, and man! Did you guy deliver! Thank you!! I had to share with my first born daughter-she’s a Halloween baby! Such a perfect song!!!
Love Voice Play's version, but this one was a way more playful version. Loved it! Definitely dropped into the basement for some of those notes! Wow! One to be proud of, for sure.
Was wondering how this version of Lauren with the Bass Gang was going to show off...well, y'all have done very good! Of course, I heard the Voice Play version first, then the original one. All have their own creepiness and wonderful sounds. Thank you!
I've been playing this in my car on repeat while running errands, thoroughly enjoying when my car thrums at Marwan's beyond-the-basement-of-hell bass. 😁 I also sing along with Peter at the operatic parts (though my singing isn't remotely what you'd call operatic, or even good) at stoplights, earning myself several odd stares from other drivers. 😆 LOVE this song! Gonna listen to it a lot year round. ❤️
Your tonal quality when using your operatic voice for both high and low was beautiful! It's not often you see many with good tonal quality in such different octaves!
Awesome work by everyone involved! I love how I can listen to three renditions of the same song - Lauren’s stairway version, The Bass Gang, and Voiceplay - and get three totally different vibes. The wonders of music! Congrats!
If you guys were aiming for a creepy feeling, you nailed it. Especially with Lauren's incredible voice. Also, I love how the screen vibrates when Marwan hits his low note. Like when he did his B0. 😁😁 Well done. Very well done.
I'm watching the video on repeat. The visual editing and the sound mixing was superb. Of course, the vocal quality of you guys + siren is out of this universe. Nothing I can say will even start to praise you enough.
Rarely do I do this for videos, but I full screened and just watched while you did your first-time reaction. Even paused editing my own reaction video to just enjoy yours. It brings me much joy to see you freak out over your own excellent work. Shows the passion you have.
This was a triumph. I'm making a note here: Huge success Seriously - that was fantastic and I love how creepy ya'll looked and the composition was just fantastic. Well done all around!
The editing reminded me (in some parts) of the stuff Terry Gilliam used to do for Monty Python, the "paper-doll cut-out" that moved about the screen without actually "moving." It was startling at first, then it just made me grin. Nice arrangement - quite different (while still the same basic song) from the Voicaloid version, or VoicePlay's version - or even Lauren's stairwell version. Kudos.
Outstanding. And I thought your video with Jonathan Young HAD to be the pinnacle, but maybe THIS is Everest!! What a phenomenal work of art!! Be proud of yourselves!
I introduced The Bass Gang to my little sister, and she LOVES this one! (Same with Emperor's New Clothes) Stellar reaction and analysis as usual, Peter!
What more to ask for man?! Your reactions are spectacular in content and details about techniques! Really proud of you guys and so thankful that i get to be a Patron! Since then my music horizons went up!! Lauren was also magnificent in all of this! Marwan outdone himself again!!
Gosh, none of you blink your eyes through out the whole song (except once by Peter, hahaha finally realize Peter is human), that is creepy and I had goosepumps throughout the song.
Watching your reaction is even better than watching it myself first time, bc now I know that's coming and can watch your facial expression unfold. It enhanced the experience. Are you saying the word 'footstep' during the footstep happening?
Love the 2 in 1 of Bass Gang video and Peter analysis!! 😁 Always enjoy hearing new things that you point out. This is so so amazing in every aspect, what a sick arrangement and such good low notes from you guys (your C#1 sub was sooo thick, not to mention Marwan’s at the drop too 😳) and high notes from Lauren (so cool you got her on!), plus a great video too… you guys really have something great going here and I’m so happy to have been and continue to be along for the ride!! ❤️
I just LOVE watching you react to a new Bass Gang video ❤😁. Your enthusiasm is like the one of a kid who got THE new toy he was expecting since, well... Forever, and that he himself helped build. Priceless. 🙂😊 Thank you for your insights and explanations. This one, although keeping the "signature style" of the Bass Gang, was definitely a jump to a different level. Really loved it. 🙂 And that C#1 by Marwan... Can't say it took me by surprise, but it shook me from the basement nonetheless. 😁 Now I wonder what will be the NEXT step in the Bass Gang "evolution". And still think you don't get the consideration and recognition you deserve... YET. 🙂 Thank you again for the video AND for this analysis. It's been such a pleasure to watch it... Twice, as the first one I got carried away by following your enthusiasm and surprise and joy, so I had to watch it again to get the analysis properly. 😁 See you next time. 🙂
There is so much going on in the background of this one (Marwan, you’re nuts, in the best way!), that it’s so helpful to hear you highlight things I missed! But, seeing your first time reaction to the video is the real treat! 🎃 so much spooky fun! 👻
Great stuff Peter! Seeing each of you continuing to grow, and just getting better and better is so rewarding to experience! I really hope things continue to work out for the 4 of you, and you continue to be your humble selves. Congrats on this project!
Thanks for the reaction and analysis Peter, this video is fantastic and you are getting bigger and bigger. Marwan's work is amazing and that unique Lauren voice...brrr👀. I really like your operatic insert in this arrangement because it reminds me of the operatic music inserted in the horror films of maestro Dario Argento.
Your story of how you got those good C#s while on vacation is great! As to those notes you were going to send - I hope you sent one to Lauren first. She was simply fantastic! Musically, of course, but also the video and acting where she nailed the creepy/scary look.
thbassgang r all v unusual individuals...marwan has genius concepts like th puppetry...he shd really expand his content as hes capable of including indian +muslim mythology
Before watching your reaction, I watched the video, and oh my gosh! It is the best work yet, in every way! Great arrangement, great singing, great video!
Please react to Daneliya Tuleshova's blind audition at The Voice Kids of Ukraine (she sings "Stone Cold")… I know that she's not a low register singer, but I think her voice is incredible, especially taking into account that she was 10 at the time of that show. And as I commented on the Diana Ankudinova's reaction video, you make very good analyses of voices etc.
Bravo tutti!! Excellent job to all involved. Indeed a most complex vocal arrangement enhanced by an outstanding video arrangement. It was a joy to watch your reaction and then the analysis of who and what to listen for. The trick of getting so many pieces and parts together from around the world ended up with the treat of this outstanding video! Once again, congratulations to all involved for an excellent, creepy, and thoroughly enjoyable video. Looking forward to your next project! Thank you.
I don't usually get creeped out with your guys videos, like the Billie Eilish ones. That's not to say they weren't objectively creepy by any means, but they didn't get me as much. This video creeped me the hell out and to that I say bravo!
This is so amaziiiing! 🙌 I actually saw this video first but I had to hold off watching this until I heard the original video first. 😅 your sneaky operatic bit still gets to me!
I love your reviews. I found it when watching your review of the collaboration with Tim Foust ! There were so many positive things you pointed out about both videos! TY
I never noticed the chest fry thing so that is great editing of the voices together i know also you notice it more cause you did it but i think despite what you did it still came out good.
Dude, this song was great. Is Lauren Paley an alto/mezzo? She seems to sound better when she sings lower in the song, right when bobby's solo comes in. Its harder to tell since its in a studio
Like this comment if your soul left your body during the dubstep section
You are presuming I have a soul to lose >;)
@@KaivalaJenva I have one on lone for the season, novelty factor and all that. ;)
That caught me off guard. It was crazy!!!
Your sheer glee made it all worth it, lol
My soul left before you even started.
COOOOOOULD YOU BE INSIDE THE CLOOOOSEEEEEET and other moments that turned Peter into our favorite opera singer.
Welcome to our Ted Talk.
That sentence alone is the Ted Talk, nothing else needed
Best part of the whole thing
glad to be apart of this video! i usually don’t get to see the reactions to my edits, it definitely makes it more rewarding.
Absolutely sensational work -- we're so fortunate and honored to have you as a part of this project!
You did such a great job! The visuals were genius!!!
Bruhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm sorry all I can say is bruh O.o
hats off to you, this was way beyond what I expected!
Amazing Work!! Thank you for doing a Great job in Editing and keep it up man
4:30 YES! Peter!
That's how 90% of the audience reacted...
And yes, my soul left my body at this point and returned to left again.
Yess
Lauren does the 'manic creepy smile' perfectly. Needless to say her singing was perfect.
The Bass Gang were horrifically wonderful.
Horrifically wonderful is a great turn of phrase! Great writing.
Unhealthy shenanigans hahah! Gotta love that morning voice when you wake up the next day! Such a great video and arrangement by Marwan. Loved seeing your first reaction and then hearing about all the sections😀
Watched the original, then Peter's... omw to your channel to watch your reaction now :)

LOL!!
Nothing makes me happier than a new Bass Gang song followed by a Peter Barber reaction/analysis! 😁

Your low A towards the end is one of the juiciest bass moments this year
As someone who is afraid of ventriloquist dummies. Yikes. Your makeup and acting in this is *chef's kiss*
Just watching your enthusiasm alone full hype engaged.
Btw it's a .. peephole

I had heard Lauren sing it in the stairwell, then when I saw that VoicePlay had done it. Now The Bass Gang. Making this the Perfect Spooky month.
I loved seeing you so excited and happy to see a video that you are apart of

Marwan hit a C#1
That wasn't an edit, that was the computer going berserk for a bit as Marwan tried bringing it with him to the depths of hell with that note.
@@Nareimooncatt lol😅

Crazy, right?
this was really fun Peter hahahaha.. and your reaction was fun too 🤣

Ok the voice play version is so much fun. This one gave me the creeps (in the very best way). Love this. Congrats.

Your face in the dummy parts said it all. 😂
I’m glad you got to go operatic in it. Sounded great.
Great video and amazing arrangement! But it's even better when you explain how it was recorded and came about! Bravo!
Holy sh*t. 🤯 This if freaking amazing. I'm gonna be listening to this on repeat! Fantastic job Peter and the rest of the Bass Gang!

Fantastic!!💙💙💙💙
You should watch Voiceplay’s cover of Kidnap the Sandy Claws! There’s a lot of fun stuff in that song and I think you would like it.
Every time I watch that video I get Haunted VR game vibes. It is one of my favorite Music videos ever.
Brilliant 🎉
Love your reaction. This was an amazing video and song. *stage whispers* TBG version is my fave.
