@@TotallydubbedHD havent gone on a very long range trip as yet (holiday in August the big test) but had a few mid range trips a mix of motorway/A roads etc getting 4miles per kwh

Just purchased an E-C4 Shine +. Reg. Jan 2023 ex mobility car 365 miles on clock yes, 365 a new car really, paid £22500 love the car.

You always have regen regardless of D or B mode. Sure, B mode doesn't enable full one pedal driving but it's not too far off if you plan your driving. I agree it would be nice to be able to set drive mode and D/B as a persistent setting.
I find the performance is nippy enough when maneuvering in regular traffic. How often is 0-62 mph even relevant and how many roads lets you drive at 90 mph? The battery drain at that speed is probably enormous.
Indeed, thus the mention in the video about the speed not being that relevant for the target market.
I have only one complaint “ RANGE” love the car love the style love the comfort.

It seems the 2022 model got better efficiency but there isn’t much mention of this anywhere.
It's been improved with a 4kwh bigger battery pack. Makes a bit of difference (range up to 200-220 miles in our tests), as per the reviews we have of other new vehicles from the Stellantis Group.

Thank you. I found this a useful video. If you want people who are not from the UK to understand you, could you convert the old style mile unit to the international decimal unit? The car was not designed in or exclusively meant for the UK.

Unfortunately, it's not something we're looking to do, but thanks for the suggestion.
As the only driver, I'm not interested in the tablet holder and as the passenger, my wife prefers to look out of the windows. In addition, with such a soft ride, constantly looking down may prove to be quite nauseating after a while. Why couldn't Citroen have offered the tray and holder as an option?
That would have been good indeed! Not sure why there aren't any other options.
@@TotallyEV Well, despite it being a probably unused 'convenience', the car is still at the top of the shortlist to replace my ageing 307SW in January. Having said it'll be unused though does make me wonder if the tray is deep enough to take the owner's handbook and service record book! There doesn't seem to be anywhere else for them, with no drawers beneath the front seats.

How long do you have to wait?
I went for the sense I'm not sure I made the right decision, iv been waiting 2 months for the car and with all the waiting I regret not getting the c series I was torn between saving £40 a month or the upgraded spec. Hopefully when the car comes I won't regret it.

had a test drive on a E-C4 today, steering wheel is way too light it gives you 0 feedback from the road
If they manufacture a basic EV car, lets say a sales price of 24k$, 40 % of the cost will be batteries and they dont want to buy and sell battery. Thats why car manufacturers prefer to add as much tech as they can. In few years if battery technology abs costs drop, it will be likely to see basic ev cars.
Kind of true, but we've seen a few (good) budget EVs already like the Seat Mii Electric and e-UP! Issue is, they've been discontinued.
You keep going on about the skoda enyaq and the price but let's get real about the skoda price yes you get the base car the 60 the interior suite loft eco etc options are just the seat trims you then have to add equipment so heat seat dual zone climate or tri zone split seats electric seat are all costly option as are led matrix lights heat screens etc
So when you start comparing like for like the skoda becomes very expensive you quickly hit £60k
I wish these car tester would look at the real price of skoda enyaq and not the base price they all,seem to like to get a skoda as well equipped as citroen you would £50000 where as the top range ec4 £35600 .
Ironically we always do. Can't see how a base iV 60 gets to £60k - are you sure your calculations are correct? Unless you're specing it up to the 80 or 80X.
Don't forget, comparing the latter two trims completely outclass the e-C4 (and X) in range - due to the larger battery pack. Which I'm sure you know, is one the biggest costs associated with manufacturing an EV.
When you think that battery pack is like gas tank.

Have recently asked Kia UK about it, hoping it'll be sooner than later :)
Poor glovebox. Floor looks too high & has tunnel that seems the body is designed for petrol-diesel + E.V. as an afterthought. It is not designed an an E.V. so some interior space will be compromised... Pop out holder for laptop compromises glovebox space. Wait for the next model, as long as it is not designed by Stellantis.
Won't be for everyone, but it's still a great EV for the money!

The mileage is a problem you won’t be able to drive long distance without having to stop for hours to charge
We think 180-200 miles should suffice for most consumers!

@@TotallyEV so if you have family who are realistically further away from that sorry we can’t get to u we need to use a train or coach and waste a day travelling because car makers and the charge network isn’t there or can charge a car the same pace as filling up an ICE car sorry pass.!
