Today we went turkey hunting with Ranger to kick off youth Turkey season, we had a blast.. We also had a neighbor call with a baby rabbit that was the lone survivor after a bull dozer destroyed its home and family. We had to call our local game warden to find out if we could keep it, turns out it is illegal to keep a wild rabbit! Thanks for watching and God Bless!

I raised two wild rabbits. Dog gotten mother. Babies had fur but eyes not yet open. Got them to eat from a doll bottle and stroking their tummies while they ate. Buster survived to adulthood and made a home in our back yard under mom's rose bush. He would come to us for treats when we were in the back. His nest mate took off at a young age and we never did find out if it survived. Buster hung around for two years.
The new stroller will be so much better to get around on the farm. Thank you for taking care of Thumper until you take him to Wild Heart Ranch. Have a great evening. God Bless.
It amazes me how you include the kids in so many of your extra outside activities. Again, you are a great teacher, and so is Cassie. And they are not forced into anything. You both are just great. 😊
I have like 40 turkeys that run to me when I call them for PEANUTS in the morning. Always entertaining.

I just planted my sunflower seeds. Last year mine grew to the roof of my house, the flowers were the size of dinner plates, so plant them where you can tie them up!

I rescued a grey screech owl in the winter. It was almost frozen so I picked it up took it in my house and put cat food and water in my kitty carrier. It was on a weekend so I couldn’t call wildlife rescue until Monday. Got to take care of it for a few days until they could pick it up. It went to their rehab center and was going to be tagged to protect it.
The new stroller will make it easier getting him around the farm. Plus, he can go with you when you run!

Baby rabbits are very hard to raise. It’s hard to keep them alive. God Bless to your family ✝️ Please I ask prayers for my husband. He is really struggling with his cemo treatment, it’s really kicking him. Pray for healing and complete health .🙏🏻

if a wild rabbit lives 10 days in captivity he will keep living we use to find them in the spring when mowing the lawn the first time we used a doll bottle to feed them after a while they would jump into your hand at feeding time

My stepmom’s dad raised a baby Bobcat he found on his land. The Bobcat would wait for him every day sitting on his tractor looking down the dirt road as her dad would be coming home from work.
I love watching Mr. Jingles always making biscuits when you interact with him...Boy, Shelby was really happy to be back home from the vet 😂😂.

20:38 here in Phoenix, Az., we stayed out of trouble in the summer because our parents dropped us off at the Golf Club every morning at 5 am. So between getting up at dawn, playing golf, and the heat, we'd stay out of trouble, ha!! We'd come home and jump in the pool after our lesson and 9 or 18 rounds of golf. It truly paid off in our adulthood because we could hold our own on the golf course and in the office!! Going to the TBC aka Phoenix Open aka Waist Management Open, has been extremely enjoyable over the last 50+ years, too!!!

Grandparents sleep over THE BEST, kids all need this while growing up if possible. I think parents, grandparents , cousins, aunts and uncles all have a significant role in growing up with a healthy understanding of family, life and roles everyone plays in life. And gives the PARENTS A BREAK. Lol

That blind material has been used in the stage theatre for years. Its called scrim, you put light one side and it acts like a solid curtain, or painted to simulate a wall. Changing the lights from front to back almost makes it disappear.
When I raised a wild baby rabbit I gave it kitten milk replacer. Worked and released her back to the wild when grown.
Love the new stroller for little bear. Hope he gets better soon. Glad to hear that they did good at the vet. Hopefully thumper will make it at th wild heart Ranch.
We raised some wild bunnies when I was a young my dad accidentally hit the nest with a mower so we had 3 bunnies an we used kitten pet milk to feed them they all survived and we turned them back to the pasture

The farm dog dug up a corner of the outhouse and while the dog was busy digging a tiny baby bunny crawled out between his legs. I got the bunny before the dog did and my dad said that my sister's and I could keep it, because my Dad had never had any bunnies survive. Surprise! Our baby bunny not only survived, but thrived and we added another bunny that we also raised.😂💖🙄

Loved your outfit Mazzy, so cute. Mr.Jingles did so much better than our cat. She cries the entire time she's in the car. She loves her carrier just hates the car. Mr Jingles is a big cat! We use that same brand of treatment on our cat. Nice new stroller. I had 4 rabbits and a lot of babies. When we woke up one morning and found out our boy was a mom. 😂 She looked just like Thumper . I hope he does well. My sister was about Ransom's age she was delighted with the babies. The rest of us not so much. They are cute babies though

Oh that’s interesting… I never would have thought about it being illegal to “help” a baby wild rabbit! I have taken an injured bird to a wildlife rehabber before. Hope “Thumper” makes it. ❤️❤️❤️

I have very little in common with you. I live in NY in a small apartment, in a wheel chair and very limited with activities but I love children and animals. I so enjoy sharing your activities with your family and love the kind heart that Cassie and you have with the children in your life. My Dad brought me a baby bunny when I was young. The farmer had tilled up the nest. I feed it milk with a spoon. My Dad said it wouldn't live but it did. I would love to hatch turkey eggs lol. I would love to have Royal Palm turkeys.

I love the ice cream shops that serve a fresh blackberry sundae, aka vanilla ice cream or custard heaping topped with fresh blackberries, toasted pecans and whip cream. Its on another level for your taste buds!

I don’t have to call my wild turkeys, their route either takes them on the west of the house or the east side. Either way, it would be very easy for me to get a couple, but I’m at the age that I only like to watch them. Once in a while the junior toms make quite the spectacle.

Wild Heart Ranch is a great rehab. They encourage you to keep the baby warm and thats the most important.thing. alot of people tey to.feed them milk or pedialyte which is a no no..

I’ve never seen such a small baby rabbit, are they ever cute. Yes it’s illegal where I live also. I’m sure it’s better off at the rescue place so they’ll be able to monitor and evaluate when it’ll be okay to go back to the wild. Oh Gary, Cassie’s gonna get you good! Lol. We found baby raccoons in our neighborhood, local rescue was happy to take them they were tiny and dropped by Mom.

I teared up with mazi when she started to tear up when thumper had to go. And ransom loving it with his face and so proud of ranger in becoming such a loving young man! And I can tell you guys are already so so in love with little bear. Not going to lie if it doesn’t work out with his family I hope his forever home lies with you guys. Of course that’s only if it’s in his best interest!

Too bad i live in city limits. There are several herds of turkeys that roam the streets ad well as a couple deet herds. Sunce we cant shoot in city limits. The herds just keep growing. I live in northern UT
